After struggling with the results of a previous procedure, I felt discouraged and had lost a lot of confidence in myself. From my very first consultation, Dr. Sorokin listened to my concerns, treated me with compassion, and made me feel truly heard. The results have exceeded my expectations. Not only did they correct the issues I was dealing with, but they also gave me back something I thought I had lost--my confidence. I finally feel comfortable and happy in my own skin again.

The consultation my partner was there and we were in shock with his kindness sharpness. Overall my confidence is as high as ever, the patient care is OVER THE top. The nurses and staff go above and beyond. And as soon as you walk in everyone's always smiling and happy. I got a breast revision+ augmentation done , Botox and lip filler and feel better than ever. They're all so knowledgeable and straight forward which someone with anxiety like me really appreciates. If you're even thinking of having something done; have a consultation ! I wish I knew of him my first time. And the nurses and staff and even patient coordinator Mildred is a sweetheart I've never seen or experienced someone making the payment process enjoyable lol. All these details makes all the difference trust !

My father passed away shortly after and I waited a year to come back and get the surgery. When I returned I received a different recommendation of fat transfer. I asked several times how fat transfer was going to help with bags under my eyes and they kept assuring me I would get the results I wanted. My results were horrible I still have bags under my eyes and there is no difference in them before or after just a horrible recovery period where I had swelling bruising and skin discoloration for 8 months after surgery. I'm sure she probably gets it right with most patients but she did not get it right with me, nor did the office attempt to make things right in anyway possible. Unlike most of her patients I'm not wealthy and this surgery was an investment for me towards the longevity of my career in entertainment and it was an EPIC fail.

I always leave happy. I have visited other centers for Botox and they have suggested almost double what Dr. Hughes injects into my forehead. I don't feel over done when I leave the office. They do sell you different products however I have had success with their skincare lines. I believe the skin care they are selling is better than buying in other stores and they are suggesting a regimen and teach how to layer your products which is import.

My skin was prepped, prior to receiving the injections. Her staff is so attentive, they all work great together. The ear had been split for several years, and I wore clipped earrings until I decided to get the ear repaired. Today, the stubs came out, and I finally saw the results. Amazing! My earlobe is healed, and I am ready to wear pierced earrings again. Believe it or not, it's been about 30 years since I wore pierced earrings! The care was phenomenal. Dr. Spears is an A-1 plastic surgeon and a female to boot. The staff members are the nicest people you ever want to meet. Customer service is exceptional, above and beyond what you typically get in a doctor's office. Reminder notifications are sent in a timely fashion. Staff will take the time to personally phone you if there are concerns or a missed appointment. But most of all, the team relates to patients on a personal level. Today, I called to change the appointment time, and Stephanie, the office manager, asked me about a health concern I shared with her during one of my visits. She then said she had thought of me and prayed for my recovery. It was so lovely of her to say that to me. All of the staff members demonstrate that level of personal care and concern. There is very little wait time. I have only waited up to 15 minutes to see the doctor. I have always been seen within a reasonable time frame of my appointment time. I can't say that for most practices. The office is clean, and the decor is warm and inviting. I don't know if I will have reason to use a plastic surgeon again, but if I do, and the concern fits her expertise, I'm there! I'll find some reason to go back! Thanks to Dr. Spears and the entire team at Metropolitan. Leslie Morris

I am writing this to warn future patients and help them mentally prepare in ways I was not. While I…read moream satisfied with the physical results of my tummy tuck with Dr. Lyle Back, the pre-operative communication, patient dignity, and post-operative accountability fell severely short. There was a severe lack of transparency regarding operating room protocols. While generic paperwork given to me the day of surgery briefly mentioned a Foley catheter might be used, it was never discussed with me in person, and I was completely left in the dark about how extensive the surgical scrub boundaries would be on my body (I was exposed and scrubbed from nipple to mid thigh). Discovering these medical interventions post-surgery without warning caused me immense shock and a severe panic attack. Furthermore, I had my period on the day of surgery and was wearing surgical mesh underwear. No one told me these would be removed; I woke up in the recovery room completely exposed with no underwear or menstrual pad, leaving me deeply embarrassed and vulnerable. When I obtained my medical records and later confronted Dr. Back, his behavior shifted dramatically. Two weeks post-op, I explicitly asked him if I had a catheter, and he evasively told me I "may have had" one. As the primary surgeon who signs the operative reports, he absolutely knew the answer but chose to downplay my experience. When I asked him to update his pre-op paperwork so future women wouldn't experience this trauma, he fiercely disputed the need for systemic changes. He is an effective communicator when building rapport before surgery, but he completely lacks the emotional integrity and transparency required when a patient addresses a legitimate care flaw. This entire situation was completely avoidable; it would have taken less than five minutes of upfront communication to inform me of what would be done to my body. Instead, my autonomy was disregarded, leaving me feeling deeply distressed. While Dr. Back did a decent job on the physical procedure, the lack of informed consent and pre-op transparency completely overshadows the results. I have completed my immediate post-op visits and am leaving this practice to transition my care elsewhere. If you choose this practice, please be your own advocate and demand a full, written list of every operating room protocol beforehand, as it will not be voluntarily disclosed to you. Look elsewhere for a surgeon who actually respects your body, your dignity, and your boundaries.
