As the appt continued the doctor made strange comments, and gave outdated information...I felt like my son was being treated like a # to reach whatever vaccines they need to give out and not being able to choose what goes into my sons body. (Not anti vax) just wanted a delay schedule when I had called prior to choosing this office they never said I couldn't....i wont be returning to this pediatrician...then she questioned me about keeping my child safe...at my very 1st visit with my son.

Once you finally do make it in for your child's appointment, get ready for even more attitude. They will make you stand there and wait while they gossip behind the glass, and file their nails. Then, because they're not paying attention, they will call you back up to the glass for information THEY forgot to take from you (then blame you for not telling them how to do their jobs). And don't get me started on the doctor who wasn't able to diagnose ringworm on my daughter!

They have also been under the care of the pediatric surgical ENT's. I love their patient online platform it's extremely user-friendly. It has EVERYTHING you could possibly need just a click away. I find my children's vaccination records, upcoming and previous visits, prescriptions, medical professionals who have provided care for my children from all the different facilities. Dr. Mcfadden is great! She has a warm and caring bedside manner approach and is a fantastic active listener. The office is large and I have never had issues with parking. The nurses are sweet and I feel the staff offer quality service. My son 3, once injured his forehead (huge bump and slight bleed) playing with friends. I called the practice and was able to do an assessment with a RN over the phone saving us a trip to the ER or Urgent Care. I definitely recommend.

There is literally no point to having a doctor who's only recommendation is to go to urgent care when you are sick. I am a fully grown adult person... I am aware emergency rooms exist and urgent care exists. I don't need that kind of help. This was not an emergency but is something that a doctor should look at to keep from it getting so bad I actually do need to take my child to the emergency room. I am switching from CHOP. The Bad: 15-20mins wait in waiting room after your appointment time, then 15-20mins wait in the exam room for 5-10min face time with a doctor or PA is usual. The worst: The scheduling process is a joke at times. Happens with well visits/routine vaccinations/flu shots appointment, when you arrive, they say it's a later time that day or some other day. Happened 3-4times in the last 5yrs. Really frustrating because we put the appointment in our phone as soon as we make them. Conclusion: Not all Advocare offices are equal. Skip this one if you value your time.

I called Red Lion Pediatrics to bring my daughter in because her eye was red, puffy, sensitive to…read morelight and extremely painful. First off they refused to see her due to Covid19 because apparently they are now afraid of sick people. Isn't that like day 1 of medical school that they tell you if you're afraid to be around sick then maybe this isn't the line of work for you? Strike 1 So we agree to do a tele-health call and they then diagnose her condition as pink eye (wrong). She continues to get worse on the antibiotics until we call back a couple of days later and they very reluctantly agree to see her. The doctor again diagnoses it as pink eye. Strike 2 My wife says she wants to take her to Wills Eye Hospital in center city and Red Lion agreed to fax over the referral .Later that day they call to inform us that they don't have the fax number to Wills and that they're leaving for the weekend so they'll deal with it on Monday. Because googling the fax number was too much work apparently. Strike 3 My daughter ended up in the ER on Saturday and we got a proper diagnosis of scleritis which involves a completely different treatment. We also had an ER copay of $125 as opposed to the standard $30 copay had they sent the referral. Scleritis isn't exactly a rare disease but they were unable to diagnose it TWICE. They gave the wrong medicine TWICE . And were completely indifferent and uncaring when we needed a referral. I will find my kids a new doctor because the people at Red Lion Pediatrics are not only incompetent, they don't care. The staff's unsympathetic response to a very sick child ,because they were too busy planning their weekend, is a reflection on the doctor. You know the old saying : the fish stinks from the head.
