I am a Louisiana girl, who wanted to send a special "happy" to one of my best friends, who lives in Arlington, TX. I was not overly happy with all of the Yelp reviews on other florists in the area until I saw Cooper's reviews. With the address being in Hurst, TX, I was not sure about its proximity to where I was delivering, so I called the number. Tim, the owner, answered the phone, and he was so helpful with all of my questions. I told him I picked him based on his Yelp reviews, and he was super humble about having received such great ratings here! Tim took my order, and he gave me a very thorough breakdown of how things would happen. He took my cell, and he sent me a text as soon as the arrangement was made. The text included a picture of what I ordered. He told me he would have it delivered the next day in the AM. Then, the next day, he sent another text, telling me that flowers had been delivered and left with the receptionist. He was so thoughtful to give me all of these updates. Imagine having never heard or seen this business --- how hard it was for me to trust that it would all get done. He definitely delivered an excellent experience to me and my best friend! When I need to order flowers, I never order from anyone else. I just ordered for a friend who had surgery, and it was getting late in the day. She still had not received them. I ordered a spray over the phone, for a funeral in the area. The exact arrangement I wanted wasn't available (they didnt have all the flowers), but the girl taking my info assured they would make it as similar as possible. After taxes and fees, it was $200. They do ask if you will be attending the funeral, and I said no, but family members were. I saw a phone pic of it, it looked nice, but of course there was no way to really know if it was $200 quality. I suppose the bottom line is, they delivered it, and it was nice. Let me pick out the once I liked and even offered to let me come in and take pictures in their shop so I don't have to buy them. Also offered to let take pictures in their garden whenever I want. There was a mistake in the ordering of my Grandmother's casket spray at another florist and it was never ordered. Frantic because I needed the flowers the next day, my husband went immediately to Cooper's and told them the situation. Without hesitation, they assured him they would have them ready and within our price point. When I arrived at the shop in my crying state of panic, the florist immediately hugged me and told me everything would be ok. She then walked me through the flowers and let me tell her my ideas on what I wanted. It felt so reassuring versus ordering off a computer screen. When we picked them up the next day, the florist once again rushed out the door as I was getting in my car to hug me and give me her condolences. The casket spray was absolutely gorgeous and was exactly what we wanted. My grandmother would have been so pleased with it. More importantly though, they made me feel reassured and cared about in a time of great stress, even though I had never been in their shop before. I found Cooper's Florist on a random internet search, and spoke to Tim on the phone after getting the number. I had searched the internet for an obituary, but the funeral was not in town so had not come up with any details. Tim spent the time and made the effort to contact several funeral homes, all to no avail. Tim suggested that I send flowers to their home. So, that's what I did. Here is the amazing part of this story. I live in South Carolina, but Tim's response was as if I had lived just down the street and had been a life-long customer. Thank you Tim. Awesome shop! I had a hard time last minute shopping for a boutonnierre and these guys were amazing. Two shops in Colleyville had no interest in helping and were quite offended that I would even step in their establishments and try and order one without making the two week prior cut off date. Okay so I am writing this review as I wait for my arrangement, it is being made as I type. Mind you I haven't seen it yet...but the service alone in here has me so impressed I have already assigned it 5 stars! I just got out of the airport and I wanted to surprise my mom with something nice since her birthday was last Monday (TMI: the flowers I ordered for her that day never got delivered so I wanted to show up with something extra special) As soon as I walk in I'm greeted by a young lady who is already helping others, acknowledges me and let's me know she'll get to see me as soon as she can. Then Kirk walks up to me not long after and asks me if I need any help. I let him know the occasion and reason for my visit. He let me know that they are currently working on orders and don't have anything already made. Despite those two facts he is making something happen. He asked me what my budget ($80-150) was and assured me it probably wouldn't exceed my maximum. Wow! His calm demeanor, and confidence in making something happen for me made me feel super awesome. Not only did they provide same day delivery to my Grandma who is in rehab after a nasty fall...they also texted me a photo of the arrangement that they created and then left me a voice mail as well to let me know what a sweetheart my Grandma is (I couldn't agree more) and how happy she was with her flowers.
