It's a nice to have a bar that's open until 2 am in Pearland. Our server was nice, but not very efficient. We had to ask for things multiple times before she brought it. For instance, instead of asking the entire table if we wanted water, she only brought out one water when I requested it (twice). Generally if one guest is asking for something like silverware or water, you would think the server would ask the rest of the party if they would also like the same request. We also had to ask for paper towels for our table. They had a summer drink menu on the table even though it was January. I asked the server if the bar was able to make the drinks and she said she wasn't sure but would check. I ordered some sort of cucumber cocktail and it was basically a vodka tonic. There was no cucumber in the drink anywhere, but at least it was a heavy pour. I also had a Deep Eddy Lime with Tonic. For apps, we had Fried Okra and Boudin Balls. The okra was good and it came with quite a few French fries as well as a side of ranch dressing. I don't eat Boudin often, but this one was good. For my entree, I had the Grilled Chicken Wrap and it was good. Bogie's is not fancy, but it's good enough given the lack of bars in Pearland.

The doors are open and they have a huge fan on the ceiling and other fans on the floor. I found out that they allow dogs. That night Caffeinated Canine Rescue was there having a raffle and offering free stuff mainly for dogs. People brought their food. There was also a ring toss game on the tables. They have different events happening most nights and they're pretty laid back. I'll definitely come back.

We stopped by for Trivia Night on a weekday and the parking lot was completely full. I ended up parking on the street a few minutes away by foot. Ambiance (3/5): Rob Ray's is a casual, no frills, open air taproom. Most of the seating is at picnic-style tables. After a while, I grabbed a chair to have some back support. There's also no A/C so I imagine it can get pretty toasty when it's hot outside. The walls are covered with flags of different colleges. I found my alma mater, the University of Michigan, which was pretty awesome! Service (4.5/5): You order at the bar. The service is friendly and even Rob Ray was there. He introduced himself and asked if it was my first time. There was a bit of a line at some points but it moved quickly. Food (N/A): While they don't serve food, they do allow you to bring food. There's a taco joint across the street and they have a menu at Rob Ray's. You can call in and pick up your order. Drinks (4/5): Now this is what we're here for! They have a nice selection of beers on tap and bottled beer. I'm all about the variety and trying new beers so that's what I did. Every single beer I tried was one I had never had before. They also have some seltzers. If you're looking for a deal, you can buy tokens at a flat rate. They also allow you to make donations with your purchase to firefighters, nurses, police officers, etc. which is a really nice touch. It makes giving back easy if you'd like to do so! Overall: While I wish they had A/C and the seating was a little more comfortable, I would definitely return to try out some more of their beers. Trivia was a good time too. They had prizes for first and second place. While my team didn't win, we fought valiantly until the end!

Back when Pearland was still a food desert with a bunch of chain restaurants sprinkled with a few mom and pop places. It was nice to have a new pizza option and support local. This location was their first location and since then, they have expanded quite a bit. For a traditional, non chain pizza, Center Court is the best pizza in Pearland. Now we have other styles around town, but that's neither here nor there. This location is not super spacious, but I've never seen it overflowing with people. They have bar that always seems to have regulars sitting there. They also have a small patio outside. Parking is plentiful. I have never dined in so I can't really speak on the customer service. There's been a few times where I had to wait a bit longer than expected, but I always come on their specials day. As long as I've been a customer, I have only ordered take out on Mondays here. They have one of the best Monday deals in town. Anything pizza on their menu is 12 bucks. It's a great way to beat those Monday blues. As far as pizza goes, I've had quite a few of their creations. My personal favorites are the Touchdown and Ninja Turtle. They have all your regular topping pizzas which are good, but they also have cool pizzas like chicken pesto pizza, honey BBQ, or Greek. What sets them over the top is this seasoning they put on the crust. It's basically an oregano based seasoning. It might throw you off at first glance if you don't know about it, but trust me, it's delicious. Their menu doesn't stop at pizza. They also have appetizers, pizza rolls, loaded fries and tots, pasta, salads, burgers and sandwiches, calzones and desserts. I highly recommend their pepperoni rolls. It's always a crowd pleaser at all gatherings. Their wings also should not be slept on. My favorite kind of wing is a breaded wing, and that is an option here. These things are big too and you will get full after having a few. They have a bunch of sauces and dry rubs flavors to choose from as well. Rolls, pizza and wings. That's what you must get here. For all the Pearland locals, if you haven't tried Center Court, do yourself a favor and check them out. I will be back!

Bottom line, plenty of spaces. Side note, they're not all spaced the way you might expect. Walking in, the place was hopping. Much more crowded than the former business. Pretty good sized menu. They serve you the red salsa, but you can ask for the green. The kind that gives you heart burn for hours. Worth it. Both salsa were great, chips were fresh. We ordered house margaritas, and those were also very good. Pricing was average. For food we ordered the parrillada El Malecon. Mixed beef and chicken, with ribs and quail. Here's where things went a little rough. We ordered the "for two" but the entire was still in a " for one" portion. 3 pieces of steak, 3 chicken, one quail 2 rib portions. Definitely seemed off. The manager came by, and we discussed. On THEIR menu, the double portion is only 4 strips of steak, 4 of chicken, still only one quail, and two rib portions. The reasoning we were given is that people don't seem to like the quail. First, nothing about this is "for two." For 45.99 this isn't it. The chicken and beef were good, the quail was not seasoned well unfortunately, and the ribs were over sauced with a cheap syrupy sauce. Overall food was a no. But here's where I also have to give credit. They stuck with their defense, and while we discussed someone brought a plate of chicken and beef. While we weren't going to ask for anything, we do appreciate their thoughtfulness and speedy resolution. Maybe they knew it was coming , or maybe they just jumped ahead to make it work. Either way, we appreciated that effort. Overall, service was great, food was 50/50. Wouldn't do the parrilladas again, but would try other menu items.
