Bottom line, plenty of spaces. Side note, they're not all spaced the way you might expect. Walking in, the place was hopping. Much more crowded than the former business. Pretty good sized menu. They serve you the red salsa, but you can ask for the green. The kind that gives you heart burn for hours. Worth it. Both salsa were great, chips were fresh. We ordered house margaritas, and those were also very good. Pricing was average. For food we ordered the parrillada El Malecon. Mixed beef and chicken, with ribs and quail. Here's where things went a little rough. We ordered the "for two" but the entire was still in a " for one" portion. 3 pieces of steak, 3 chicken, one quail 2 rib portions. Definitely seemed off. The manager came by, and we discussed. On THEIR menu, the double portion is only 4 strips of steak, 4 of chicken, still only one quail, and two rib portions. The reasoning we were given is that people don't seem to like the quail. First, nothing about this is "for two." For 45.99 this isn't it. The chicken and beef were good, the quail was not seasoned well unfortunately, and the ribs were over sauced with a cheap syrupy sauce. Overall food was a no. But here's where I also have to give credit. They stuck with their defense, and while we discussed someone brought a plate of chicken and beef. While we weren't going to ask for anything, we do appreciate their thoughtfulness and speedy resolution. Maybe they knew it was coming , or maybe they just jumped ahead to make it work. Either way, we appreciated that effort. Overall, service was great, food was 50/50. Wouldn't do the parrilladas again, but would try other menu items.

The service was stellar. I ordered a dish from the from the lunch menu and for most dishes, you get a choice of protein -- pork, chicken, tofu, veggie (all $13), filet mignon or shrimp (both $14). I got the Pad Prik King" with filet mignon - a stir fried dish with bell peppers and green beans in a chili paste. My husband ordered "Cashew" with chicken - it included cashews, carrots, bell pepper, onion and dried peppers. Both entrees came with a veggie egg roll. (pics attached). I wasn't a fan of my dish but my husband liked his. I did really like the egg roll. I think I'll give this place another chance but will get something different. Also, I'll get chicken next time. The filet lacked flavor.

Mine was ok and I probably could have added a lot of veges as my bowl was only 1/2 full. It is one price for one bowl, irrespective of how much of what you add. They brought it with 'kanpyo' instead and forgot the carrots First of all kanpyo looks like mushroom and didn't have the faintest idea that they were very different things , secondly carrots were no where to be seen. When called to enquire, they apologized and took back the order without a minute's hesitation and made a fresh batch made with no mushroom no kanpyo and carrots included. Appreciated that very much. Food wise summery, the bowl or the roll. I definitely preferred the roll and when soaked in sriracha, it exploded in my mouth with flavors. The first one just fell into sriracha by mistake and got drenched, after I tasted that I drowned the next ones in myself...... The place is maintained spotless and the bar was filled to capacity at 5 pm. They do have TV with closed captions . Very limited vegetarian options but you won't go hungry.

My husband opted for the house fried rice (no Mongolian grill for him) and was equally happy with his choice. We loved it so much we're hoping to get back there while we're still in town. Our waitress didn't seem to give two shits on the other hand that she had customers. She walked up and asked what we would like, I asked about the 3-dollar draft Modelo Monday on the placard on the table, she said she didn't know because she didn't normally work on days. "Loralei" she says...really, that unique I said, have you ever heard the song (she's early 20's/1970's Styx song)? "Yes, can I get you anything else?"...wow, someone is Miss grumpy pants today. The chicken in the wrap had a weird taste to it, but it wasn't the worst. Just not as good as I expected. Unfortunately, the pasta never arrived to the table. After 30 minutes of waiting.. still no pasta out the cooks in the kitchen made an error and that caused the delay. The service was okay I suppose, but I definitely won't be returning to this place.
