Crawfish and service is really good, our server Christi was such a cutie made the atmosphere fun.

I've lived in Pearland for many years and have never gone to Bogie's until recently. This is a typical no frills bar and grill. It's a nice to have a bar that's open until 2 am in Pearland. Our server was nice, but not very efficient. We had to ask for things multiple times before she brought it. For instance, instead of asking the entire table if we wanted water, she only brought out one water when I requested it (twice). Generally if one guest is asking for something like silverware or water, you would think the server would ask the rest of the party if they would also like the same request. We also had to ask for paper towels for our table. They had a summer drink menu on the table even though it was January. I asked the server if the bar was able to make the drinks and she said she wasn't sure but would check. I ordered some sort of cucumber cocktail and it was basically a vodka tonic. There was no cucumber in the drink anywhere, but at least it was a heavy pour. I also had a Deep Eddy Lime with Tonic. For apps, we had Fried Okra and Boudin Balls. The okra was good and it came with quite a few French fries as well as a side of ranch dressing. I don't eat Boudin often, but this one was good. For my entree, I had the Grilled Chicken Wrap and it was good. Bogie's is not fancy, but it's good enough given the lack of bars in Pearland. read more

This place is for sure just a spot to visit for a cheap drink and watch a game. I stopped in for a Saturday evening with some family. The concept is open seating, and the service was very unorganized. We grabbed some bar seats due to all tables either being taken or weren't cleaned from previous patrons. It took almost 20 minutes for someone to finally take our drink order. There were flies over food that was sitting from the previous party. We flagged down two servers- one behind the bar who was too busy to stop to take our order, and a second who verbatim said they were 'effing' swamped. The bartender however was able to find time to tend to her friends also at the bar and to hit their vape pen in front of guests- extremely unprofessional and unsanitary. The only plus was our $8 tab for two drinks but yeah... hard pass on here for anything else. read more

Horrible customer service. Owner/manager is very defensive (see their Google review responses) and it seems to have been going downhill in the past year. You gotta be a friend of the staff essentially to get basic customer service otherwise you'll have to flag down an irritated wait staff to be serviced. You can definitely find a better social place within 10 minutes of this place. Spare your time, save your joy and go somewhere else Food and drinks were okay, shots were about $8 dollars. Anytime I visit Houston, it's a must that I get crawfish! It's an absolute must mkay. And this place fulfilled that craving. I single-handily ate 6 pounds all by myself. I don't think I've enjoyed eating alone like that in a long while. It was so fulfilling!! This place is your normal neighbor pub but also an hidden gem in regards to their crawfish. It took a while for a waitress to take our drink order then it took a while to get our drinks. Same experience with our food. I had to go to the bar a couple of times to see about our order and when it was brought to us it was cold. Bartender got really hostile with a customer. What ever the issue was it escalated really quickly. Won't be going back. read more

Service is always very slow. Bartenders are not attentive, usually stand at the bar waiting to be helped or at a table with no assistance. Food is ok. Crawfish was the reason i would go but i am overly annoyed by their attitudes & extra fees for credit card and to go orders. read more

Poor service (maybe because I was the only black person in the establishment during lunch time). I counted 4 times that the waitress went to the table next to me to the one time in which I had to flag her down while she was sitting at the bar on her laptop, to let her know I wasn't happy with my meal. (Had she checked on me she would have known sooner). I showed her the small breaded crumps that were supposed to be shrimp. She combatively responded "there is the tail of the shrimp there", with a stale frustrated look on her face. I asked to change my order, she went back to the kitchen aggressively swinging open the door. I don't feel comfortable even eating the food that was prepared. Maybe I have a certain level of expectation for customer service and quality of food as a restaurant owner in the area, but to who looked like the General Manager sitting next to her at the bar, I expected more and maybe you should as well. Of course I still tipped to combat the "black people don't tip" narrative though it's probably due to the service we experience due to this stereotype. But we'll save that for a different day. Came in with the hubs on a Friday around 6 pm. Was going to have one quick drink and maybe a snack. There were 6 patrons total, a table of 2 and a table of 4. We went to the bar and were COMPLETELY IGNORED not once, but twice. At first there was no one behind the bar. Then after a minute or 2 an employee (bartender?) came from the back, walked right past us without even glancing at us, much less speaking to us. He was out of sight for a couple minutes and then came back through and did it again!!!! He was actively avoiding eye contact and did not acknowledge us in any manner. It was so bad, it was laughable and definitely weird. I understand being busy or in the middle of something but to not even speak, or say "I'll be right with you" was ridiculous!! We don't go out much to begin with so it's not like they'll miss our contribution, but I guarantee I will never come back!!! I've been frequent for years. I happily go to Bogies because they are my choice (second) to sit and enjoy crawfish and libations. My first choice Atchafalaya is a drive thru. Unfortunately their CUSTOMER SERVICE is HORRIBLE! It takes 20mins just for them to recognize your presence. No matter where you sit, depending the time of day, you have to go order at the bar. Even then you stand for minutes before your order is taken. Once you've given your order you wait longs periods of time before getting food. In the process of all of this, no one is assuring you that your food is on the way, no apologies for the wait, standing or having to come order your food. When you finish your food, no one offers service by asking if anything is needed. This has been going on for a few months now. I gave the bartender (Jackie) grace because she said she was busy, but it only takes a few secs to assure your customers you have their attention...even in the midst of being busy. Shannon, the server as well, is horrible. So, I finally asked Jackie what is the problem and she said it was because I don't tip, which I do. I've always put cash in her tip jar...I don't put it on my card for personal reasons. I figured since she's the only one working the bar, sitting area and outside, all tips belong to her. Either way, no matter if she thinks I tip her or not. Why would anyone tip waiters and the customer did most of the work. After being told I don't tip with an attitude, and being threatened to have the police called because I responded to such nastiness confirms the poor customer service exemplified in the establishment. Mind you, I was told by friends how rude Jackie is, but I gave her grace because she's always busy, and I'm a regular. And if you are asking why one person makes it bad for the entire establishment, because she is pretty much the head person/bartender in the evening. Billy, another bartender, also shows no concern to service. Bogies use to be a fun spot, but the lack of help and the decline of good customer service has ushered me to other places. The frequent people who are always in attendance are great, fun and a great vibe. Unfortunately, it has become a NO for me and if you despise poor customer service I do not recommend going...FYI: I asked around the building and a few people, white MAGA hats (I say that because its not a race thing), black, brown, male, female, trans, short hair, long hair, etc. They all said, they have been waiting around too damn long before receiving any service. Bogie's is a Pearland bar staple. It offers seltzers, beers, and some wines as well as all the bar food options that you would expect in this type of atmosphere. We always have quick service and it's never too busy too feel like we're not getting our order in a timely manner. We enjoy the DJ and often there is live entertainment. read more

There are gaming machines in this establishment. If you win money, they will tell you to leave the ticket with your name and contact information and the owner of the machine will call when he arrives. Only they don't know when he will arrive and "it has nothing to do with them." I fully understand being understaffed in this current workplace climate but the customer service is completely unacceptable and you all should not have machines in your establishment that you do not intend taking responsibility for the winnings of patrons. read more

Well damn! Can't post a review without a star and this place doesn't deserve a star. Service was absolutely horrible. The waitress was extremely rude. She was not nice at all. I asked her to change the channel of one of the 30 tv's to the football game and she huffed at me like I was asking her to change the world. Food - was not any better than the service. I ordered fried pickles with French fries. How how hard is it to ruin that?!? Guess not hard at all here. I stopped by Bogie's Pub & Grill for the first time on a Saturday night. Bogie's is your typical, casual neighborhood bar. It's located in a shopping center with several other businesses so parking shouldn't be a problem. They have a decent-sized patio and there was a band playing while I was there. There's plenty of seating so it's somewhere you can chill the entire night if that suits you. Inside, there's a long bar and plenty of seating too. The bartenders are fast and the drinks are reasonably priced. A lot cheaper than what you would pay in Houston so that's always appreciated. Nothing really stands out about Bogie's but they do what they do well. I didn't have any food so I can't comment on that. read more

In town visiting from Cali. I'm trying crawfish everywhere!! The flavors here were great, the sausage was excellent. The crawfish were good just too damn small. Not just a few, they were all small. Early in the season so I get it I guess. My issue is the staff. It was Monday, light crowd but we waited 20mins before being helped and it seemed like another 40-60mins for food and drinks. Follow-up for addt'l service was almost non existent. We weren't offered water or bibs. I hated asking the server anything. Her attitude was horrible. She should've stayed home. I limited my interactions with her. I was ready to curse her rude azz out. Food & drinks 7.5 outta 10 Service is downright Bathroom stank & had no soap, the paper towels were wet...‍ If they get bigger bugs, CLEAN the restrooms (check them once an hour) and Becky or whatever her name is, improves her stank attitude I might recommend them. Came here to shoot some pool on a Saturday night. Nice sectioned off billiards room with coin operated tables (change machines available). The table we played on maybe wasn't perfect but no major discrepancies. Good spot for some cheap pool and well priced drinks. The live band playing out on the large deck added to the smokey (vapes) pool room ambiance. read more

As a sheriffs deputy I liked to spend my off days with my wife on the patio relaxing and smoking my cigars. We would go to this place maybe once a week or sometimes skip a week if we had other plans. The food was pretty good but the service sucked but we continued to go because it wasn't too far from our house and we liked the patio. At first the service was ok but then the little short white lady started serving on the patio and she would skip all over us every time we went. We showed up tonight and started smoking our cigars and watching the NBA playoffs and again she skipping all over us and we sat for 30mins watching her slowly go to other tables go inside for about 5-10mins and come back out going to other tables. Mind you we still haven't gotten a menu or anything. The patio is not full whatsoever, maybe 5 table including us. My wife calls on the phone and asked for service. We're still waiting and we don't really need a menu because we already know what we want because we order the same thing every time we go. At this point we are pissed and about 50mins later I go in with my cigar in hand and the guy tells me I can't be in here with my cigar. I know I was wrong for going inside with my cigar but I was just trying to get someone to come out and talk to me. I tell him hey can someone come talk to me because everyone outside is being served but us and it's not the first time. He proceeds to curse me out and say you want be served and you have to go. So I leave out and tell my wife to come on let's go. We're not coming back here anymore. I don't know why we kept going after being served badly so many times but we did. We always went and sat on the patio and sometimes invited friends to come with us, but never again. We came to the realization that she serves who she wants to serve. The way they treat people is not right at all. We were always respectful to the establishment and always waited patiently but it made no sense to continue to avoid serving us and we've never done anything to any one. I hope no one else has to experience the same issue. This is not the way I want to spend my off time trying to have a decent outing with my wife. Beware! We receive great service from them/her one time and that's when our friend from Serbia came with us who also came with us and frequent the establishment just as much as we did. I mean the lady came to our table before we even sat down and she knew his order and everything. Food came out fast and she came to our table numerous times to see if we needed anything else, but before and after that day, complete TRASH service. We even joked about it and told him he needs to come with us more often because she never served us this well. I mean to sit with no service, no menus, no food, no drinks, is horrific and seeing everyone else eat and the place wasn't even crowded for nearly an hour isn't right at all. Bogie's is a nice place to hang out, get a drink and some pretty good food all at the same time. It's a great place for a date night. There's games, lots of tvs and the server was attentive also. I liked that all the appetizers we got were served with fries. It was a lot of food. The shrimp boil was pretty good. Could've used a little more seasoning but they actually served seasoning and butter with it. The fried pickles were really good and fried just right. No picture of them. At first glance this place is just another dive-ish bar. However, I'll say the food was pretty good. Reason for 3 stars is strictly service. Waitress was plenty friendly however our appetizer came out with our lunch rather than before. Secondly, the waitress did not enter one of our groups meals thus causing it to come out late. I ordered wings that were supposed to come with fries and they were not included. Overall, probably won't visit again because I don't live in the area but the wings were solid & the club sandwich was good as well. read more
