Cool place off the highway. It's Dukes of Hazzard themed, even including a museum on one side. Burgers were decent, but nothing special. There's a large amount of gift shop stuff and even had live music in the museum. Worth a look if you're into vintage cars, TV shows and enjoy burgers and American Diner cuisine.

If you grew up in the 70s, watching the Dukes of Hazzard, you have to stop in what a wonderful place! There's no pushy sales people just a lot of good memories and fun things to see and do. Little Café is fun. The bathrooms are clean. The store has everything you can ever imagine Dukes of Hazzard. . The museum is so much fun to relive childhood along with the parking lot full of cars from the Dukes of Hazzard show . Don't forget to visit all the caverns seven bins, River Park and everything that the northern Shenandoah Valley has to offer

Okay folks gotta admit grew up digging Daisy Duke. Who didn't? The Duke Boys, Roscoe, and Boss Hog were quite entertaining. If you wanted a "wow" moment, look at Boss Hog's Wikipedia page. Cooter was fun too, and kudos to him for the spot. It's a decent attraction, and friendly folks. This is what an opinion is, could be defined as a "tourist trap." It's really limited to Gen X and older. Even though it was nice to see cars, and exhibits from the show, as expected tshirts and other merchandise is expensive. Props to Cooter and all involved. It's worth stopping by once, but second trip was bored. If in area visit it.

Just a good ole' boy...iconic pit stop in Luray to see the Dukes of Hazard car and fill up on snacks or a meal! Such a fun souvenir shop and gift store! Come on in and set a spell!

(It's been a few months and I almost forgot to cuff and stuff this one.) If you're above a certain age, this place is a USDA Grade A nostalgia trip. To keep it simple, Cooter's has three parts: 1. Daisy's Diner which I believe does sandwiches and some type of BBQ. 2. A ridiculous amount of merch. 3. The museum (which if you're a fan of the show is really all that matters). A few random thoughts: * We showed up midweek in August and it was a ghost town. Maybe four other people the 90 minutes we were there. * This place is truly free. You can walk into the merch area, turn hard right and enjoy the museum portion, not buy a thing and it's all good. * While not terribly large, everything from the show that you would want to be here is. Two General Lees, Cooter's Tow Truck, Boss Hogg's Caddy, Daisy's Jeep, tons of pictures, props, etc. from the show. And apparently every Saturday from 1pm-3pm, Ol' Cooter himself shows up and does a free concert. With that said, this is not a destination stop unless you're a hard-core fan of the show (and if you are, you've probably already been here as Cooter's in one form or another has been around for a while and there are two other locations in Tennessee). This is more like if you're going to one of the caverns and are in the area or if you're rolling by on 81 and are interested in an hour-ish diversion, hit it. (Fwiw, if you're into Yee Yee culture, Cooter's website has got you covered. cootersplace.com/shop-rebel/?page=1)

Great place for a photo op. Large selection of T - Shirts too. Very warm and friendly greeting as you walked in the door. As a northerner ( I was on vacation) I'm really not used to that and it always makes me feel hopeful that there are still a lot of really genuinely nice people out there.

Delightfully kitschy for those who grew up watching the Dukes of Hazzard while their parents watched Dallas on the main living room TV. This FREE mini-museum has a ton of artifacts, especially the cars from the show as well as other memorabilia. The starts of the museum is the decked out kids room and the cars. Of course the General Lee is there, but so is the Grey Ghost racer that Cooter drove Asking with his junk hauler, the Dixie Jeep And Boss Hog's ride with genuine long horns mounted in the front. The coolest thing g though I learned is that Cooter", in real life after the show as statesman and an even was the recipient of the Order of St Maurice. Worth the moment to stop in if you are a fan as this is free to the public and nicely done.

Probably one of the best places we visited on our way from Va to Cali! Live music, great museum! We took lots of pictures!!

We grew up watching dukes of hazzard and when we drove past this museum on way to caverns we knew we had to check it out!! Great memorabilia! I loved seeing the cars from the show and all the pictures of the crew. You can purchase a few items that were signed or just grab a magnet or tshirt.. all the phrases from the theme song were on the merchandise.. very interesting!!it's free of charge so totally affordable! Brought back lots of memories too

    Good selection of shirts.

Awesome stop here on a whim. Loved this show as a kid and boy did this place bring back some memories. All the cars were here! If you're a fan of the show at all, it's worth a small stop. It's free and I'm sure you'll find something fun to bring home with you.

Exactly what it's meant to be! Not a restaurant. Nice gift shop and quick snacks, perfect rest stop while passing by.

If you're looking to break up your drive, a dukes of hazard lover, or just want some entertainment this is a must stop! The collection of memorabilia from the TV series is pretty cool to see in person. When we arrived there was a live band playing and quite the number of people watching. Their eclectic souvenirs are quite entertaining!

What a fun place! Great atmosphere and really neat collection of memorabilia from signed souvenirs at a reasonable price like $20 for a autographed baseball cap to stuff from the movie set! A friend told me about it and I'm glad I stopped in. Oct 4, restaurant was being renovated so I can't rate that part.

The food not so much but the nostalgia was epic. Had so much fun remembering one of my early memories.

It is mainly a giftshop. It was nice to see all the old toys I had as a kid though. Could also use more parking.

We stopped as kind of a joke but growing up in the 80s and Dukes of Hazzard was without a doubt my favorite show.
