Gas pumps are almost always well-stocked: receipt tape and windshield washer fluid are always ready; you rarely need to go into the store to get a receipt. Inside is great; employees are very friendly, and items are well-stocked. Store, including bathrooms, is clean. The QT Kitchens workers are very fast; my food is usually ready before I finish paying at the counter. QuikTrip often does some kind of sale special on a roller item or donuts or QT Kitchens items, sometimes available exclusively through the app; given the high quality of QT's food, these deals are excellent. Another great QT; very worth visiting! Update: Had a bit of a bummer last visit. Not terrible, but two sad things. First, they were out of their cherry and vanilla flavoring on the Coke fountain. Second, the fellows working the kitchen were slammed, so it got a bit confusing; they were churning out ice cream cones and shakes left right and center, and they were handing them out to whoever was closest, not necessarily in the order in which people ordered them. They were also talking to one another about how one of them was involved in a recent traffic stop, and they were using swear words. Not a lot, but one of them was the F-bomb, and there was a family with three kids among the people waiting for ice cream cones. A bummer and not the typical character of QT workers I've run into at other QuikTrips. Any way, a lot of hype. So yesterday, I decided I would give it a try. The store itself is fairly dirty and crammed with merchandise. I ordered of the posted menu. 3 pc mixed with mashed potatoes and gravy and a side of Mac & cheese. No white meat. Ok, dark is fine. No mashed potatoes and gravy or Mac and cheese. Only thing available was some old dried out looking potato wedges. No thanks! I guess the saddest part was this was during normal lunch rush hours of 11-1.....‍‍ I guess if I ever decide to try again, I'll go at 11:45 hoping their would at least be food available.
