I've been visiting this establishment since 2007 and it's been the only establishment I've stuck with. Everyone is very friendly and make an effort to learn your name. The facility is very clean and provide chocolate mints in each room. I've mainly used the stand up bed and have had no complaints. The only thing I wish they had were longer mirrors in the rooms to accommodate us shorter people. Please go see Mike the manager who's been there for a long time. He's very personable and knowledgeable. I will definitely miss coming here.... the only reason being that I'm moving out of state. read more

I had a great experience here today. Went in to find out about tanning and was met by a beautiful girl named Caroline. I never realized how many options tanning offers. However, after our discussion I have been enlightened to all it has to offer. Caroline was super friendly and explained all the packages and types of beds to me. I received a crash course in skin types, tanning lotion options and types of tanning beds. I will be signing up for sure. Great place to do business! read more

I have used many different tanning salons across different states, and this is one of the best ones I have been to! The girls are always very attentive and welcoming and the salon is always kept very clean. I signed up with Sydney and she was great at helping me decide which bed to sign up for and I wasn't left in the dark about any details with the contract I signed. It was all explained to me very well unlike other places that don't give you all the details when signing up. She is always so happy to see anyone that walks in the door and goes above and beyond to help out with any small need I may have! I've been a LOYAL customer to this business for 8 years. Pay my monthly membership fee, that at one time was costing me $65 a month. Used to love it here, and now, not so much. The rooms are filthy, the walls, the stand up stall floor is damn near black. When I ASKED that it be cleaned, I was told that it had been scrubbed and was all good. Walked in, took a look, and the floor in the stand up was still filthy. I wet the edge of the towel with my water and rubbed the floor and of course, it came up. I terminated my membership right then and there, and she let me. I even left a note on the back of my paperwork that was supposed to go to the "corporate office" explaining as to why I was cancelling my membership, thinking I would get a call asking me to stay on as member and that they would clean the place up. I got nothing. Good to know my years of being a member didn't mean a damn thing. read more

I went in here to get a spray tan as I have done in the past. Amanda, who repeatedly informed me she is the manager, attempted to sell me way more than I wanted, even attempting to enroll me in a "club" thing. I repeatedly told her I wasn't interested in purchasing that much but she continued to tell me how "fabulous" all the different deals are and even became pushy about it. Her explanations about the deals were very confusing and it was difficult to keep up with her scattered, disorganized and unclear descriptions of how these "clubs" work and how different ones saved me money. It is obvious the employees here work on commission. The whole pitch turned me off and It apparently irritated her that I ended up leaving without buying anything. After this uncomfortable experience with this young girl, I definitely will not be returning. read more

Ive been a member here since I was 18. (I'm now 35). Never had any problems. Recently I needed to put My membership on hold due to a medical condition. I went in and talked to the girl at the desk and filled a form. The next month I was not charged but the following month I was. I called the next day letting them know my account was debited and they said my account was never put on hold? I felt we were going in circles and the best thing was to dispute the charge with my bank and just cancel my membership completely. I went in to s/w someone in person. A rude man that I've never seen before started questioning rudely an pretty much calling me a liar. Apparently the owner. Very very rude. I'm going through something very personal right now and this customer service was just awful. I was a loyal customer for many years this is not how I expected to be treated. With that said I cancelled my membership *** a form was filled out. My card was NOT declined. And my personal thing that I'm going though is possibly having skin cancer. To be honest I hardly ever used this membership. Only before I would vacation or summer. But as you can see from the babbling response of a rude angry old man.....it's pointless to argue. I am surprised about people complaining about the cost. If you buy a package i think cop a tan prices are on par with other salons that i have been too. I have gone to cheaper places, and let me tell you, you get what you pay for. They never change the bulbs! At cop a tan you can 4 times and have a good base. Their bulbs are excellent. Dont go more than 6 mins your first time. your hiney will be cooked! I docked one star because i think the floor is a little dirty. The beds are clean, but they could sweep a little more. You cant see it with your eyes but when you get out of the bed with bare feet you will see what i mean. read more

Just moved to the area, and stopped by Cop-A-Tan. They charge a $49 membership fee that goes towards absolutely nothing. I've been tanning for years and have never heard of that. Usually once you sign up for a monthly auto pay, you're in. But not here. Very disappointing. Just putting it out there. Of course they can run their business as they choose but because of that they didn't manage to grab my business and missed out on my willingness to give them $99 a month for their best package. read more

Dislike this place because they had the nerve to charge my card for 2 years straight. Even when I never used the service and filled out a form to CANCEL my service. A courtesy phone call would of been great, instead I got scolded for not checking my accounts. Great staff ! Very helpful. Always up beat and positive. Love how clean the beds are and of course the little mint they provide :) Cost is not bad compared to most other tanning places and they can freeze your account if you have other bills to pay over this one. I was very happy here until the salon misplaced TWO of my very expensive tanning lotions and only offered me 10% off a new over priced bottle (which is pretty much what anyone can get). So my only tip is don't let them store your lotions! read more

The sales girl that greeted me was friendly and showed me around and it is a nice place but this where I stopped being impressed. She showed me the packages and $59 for a platinum package sounded reasonable so agreed and went to sigh up. As she is processing my credit card she tell me my total is $165!!!!!!! What? I only plan on coming 5-6 times. She then says there is a joining fee of $99, are you kidding me? When I gave her a look of disapprovement, she said " Does this card have enough on it to cover the charges?" I am completely insulted, just because I do not want to swindled out of money it doesnt mean I am poor. I would really like management to contact me. I wish I would have never stopped in. read more

Clean place, nice products and services (UV tanning, versa, etc), and the customer service is usually decent, but DO NOT put your account on a "freeze." They don't completely explain it until you go to "unfreeze" it. It's a complete SCAM to get you to not cancel your account, and then get even more money out of you when you do try to cancel it later. I love the staff they are always super friendly and always remember my name even after taking a 6 month break from tanning. My only complaint which keeps me from giving 5 stars is the fact that some rooms don't have music. It's not that big of a deal everyone has music on their phones just inconvenient in the stand up bed. Other than that I say give them a shot they are reasonably priced I've researched other places in the south bay and most places are a minimum of $50/mo on the lowest bed. read more

Love this place ! I have been to other places and do not tan as quick as I do here. Its a bit more expensive than other places but beds all well worth it! Everyone there is super friendly . When I signed up I forgot to give them a 20% discount that I had receive on there website and brought it there attention and was told that the owner would not reimburse me that I can use it for future purchase . I spoke with Jackie , the manager , explain that I prefer to recieve my 20% credit back to my original form of payment as I was not interested in having a credit . Jackie worked her magic and emailed the owner and express my concern and was able to refund my money back! Thanks Jackie for your help!
