Miguel and His Associate were next to deliver my stunning flooring so that it would acclimate to the temperature in my home and the color was Perfect. Finally, I had the Pleasure of Meeting Mario and another Young gentleman who were there to begin the process of ripping out the old dirty carpet, remove some travertine, prep the floor and then lay the new Wood flooring. It has now been four years and my floor is completely broken up, buckled in some placed and full of holes and dents. It's a mess. Even though the Flooring had a 10 year guarantee, the manufacturer is ignoring me, and best hardwood floors will not do a thing about it. Definitely do not shop here they do not guarantee their products. They are very difficult to deal with.

We walked in and was very impressed with the showroom. Basically allowed to roam the warehouse, take pictures of the barcode, and they can create an invoice with info and pricing. Although they only carry slabs (no prefab).. I liked the choices they had. I had seven different slabs and pricing was various $$$$.. Still surprised the prices were lower than I thought. Still need to find a fabricator, and probably one more estimate on slabs. Im really glad they are in town.

He even asked for additional photos of the shower to see if there were other areas that needed to be re-grouted or caulked. Originally, I left a 5-star review because John installed two toilets for us at a reasonable price…read more He did forget to caulk them, but he immediately came back and fixed the oversight. Unfortunately, one of the toilets has never functioned properly--it constantly runs and struggles to flush. Despite John returning several times, the problem was never resolved. We later hired John for other odd jobs, including installing a garbage disposal and fixing water backup into our dishwasher. As always, he was punctual and friendly. However, the garbage disposal was installed incorrectly, which caused new problems. He also accidentally caused some minor floor barrier damage while working in that area. To his credit, he offered to repair the damage right away, but I declined because I appreciated his willingness to help. The next day, when the water backup issue continued, we called him back. To our surprise, he asked for MORE money to revisit the SAME problem he had originally been paid to fix. Even after paying again, the issue still wasn't fixed. We ultimately had to hire another company, who immediately discovered that John had not removed the knockout plug or connected the dishwasher properly--something very basic for that type of installation. Overall, while John is personable and punctual, I cannot recommend him due to repeated problems, additional charges for unresolved issues, and ultimately needing to pay another professional to correct mistakes. Seems like an overall good guy trying to make a living but he needs to take his customers into better consideration if he would like to keep them.

Following that fiasco, it was recommended that I go to Sparks Tile and Stone. Immediately upon entering the store, I was warmly greeted by Kathy. Who took her time and gave me quite a "tile 101" education, which was greatly appreciated. She gave me so much to think about, I came back the next day and Ashley helped me, as Kathy was on her lunch break. With her help AND the knowledge, I'd gained previously from Kathy, I was able to swiftly select the tile and make my purchase. I'll drive back tomorrow to pick-up my order. It's a 60-mile round-trip from my home (Carson City) to Sparks Tile and Stone and I'm happy to do it for the incredible service I receive here. What a fantastic and friendly business!!! I was surprised that Floor & Decor takes back any unused boxes of flooring and tiling as long as it is a full box. We had several leftover boxes and it was nice to be able to return them.
