We always do a bubble tea run after dinner, and since the sun was setting and this was in the same plaza as the place we ate at, we decided to go. It's a tiny little shop that's easy to miss. There's no seating as far as I saw and the waiting area is quite narrow. This is more of a grab and go place. The employees were quick and helpful, and we got our orders fast. I had the coconut cream tea. It was decent, but the coconut taste wasn't super present and the drink had a powdery artificial taste to it. My boyfriend got the watermelon slushie which I thought was much better. It tasted exactly like fresh watermelon. He ordered it with no sugar, which was good since the drink had natural sweetness. Overall, I would go back again, but I'd maybe try something different. I'd give this place 3.5 stars.

This place was small however, it had enough tables for about thirty individuals. The servers at the front were kind, and explained what the dishes were when we had asked about the menu items. They also brought the dishes to our table once they were ready. We had settled on the butter chicken bowls, which were quite large however, not as appetizing as I would have thought. The butter chicken was more shredded than whole, and the spice overpowered the other flavours of the bowl. I didn't find it too appetizing however, it did have a somewhat nice flair to it at times. We also settled on the vegan chai, which was so strong, we had to put sugar in it to drown out the string flavouring. It also kept me up most of the night so, the caffeine content must have been higher than usual. Overall, this place definitely had many different items available for purchase however, I just didn't find the food and drink to be appetizing for my taste buds. I suppose I need to choose different food items, or increase my tolerance for spice! I may return however, I will definitely need advice on what to order the next time around.

Since its so close to my office it has also turned into the location I frequent the most. Not sure what the hold up is? Frequently they only have one order taker person at the cash while other employees stock their treats/sandwich case. They also usually seem to only have one barista making drinks at the same time. Wish they would try to adopt a model that I usually see at other Starbucks where someone runs along the line and starts taking drink orders. And two baristas assembling orders would probably help too. Would recommend you don't visit this location if you are in a rush.

The manager and assistant manager are young and organized, everyone is hardworking, constantly wiping the tables and the creamer/sugar station, etc. It is currently Monday morning at 10, the day before NY eve and there are 7 staff members (that I can see). While you're doing corporate training, can you also train your staff to be knowledgeable on how to make a decent drink, be organized, clean, and actually attentive? No one likes waiting for 15 minutes for a drink that was placed through your app because your barista cluelessly forgot to check those stickers. You claim it's the faster route but I counted about 10 people who came in after me to order at the cash got their drinks first. In addition to all this, I was somehow able to purchase an item that is no longer available that day. The barista didnt offer to refund or do anything about it. I had to go myself to the cashier after waiting 15 minutes and getting fed up to inform you that my drink hasnt been made and you're missing the croissant. I would have expected at least the barista to say, you can get a refund and let me help you or this person can help you. I didn't get any of that. To be fair, he was a bit of a hot mess... milk from all sources was spilled on all over his work station. He splashed his pours, had espresso dripping everywhere, and every cup that left his area had milk all over it... he was in no shape or form to be a tiny bit organized or helpful. The drink was as bad as his pours... bitter and yet somehow magically watery. I didnt think that was possible but here we are. Oh Starbucks, I would go to you as a consistent baseline... no more. I did end up getting a refund but I requested it at the cash myself. I just feel this was probably thee worst experience I've had in a long time at a corporate brand that considers itself a step up from a regular chain (like Tim Hortens or McDonalds). They asked me if I wanted another item and I told them if I wanted another item I would have ordered that instead of what I ordered. They refused to refund my money to me, stating that the manager was not there and that I could come back the following morning to get my money back. I told them I work a job and that is not possible. My kids were in the car and were told that they would not be getting what they were promised. They were very disappointed. Let's face it: a donut is no replacement for an iced cappuccino when you're a child or anyone else. I had to send someone in my place to get the refund, the next day. This was already a serious inconvenience to have to drive back again. The manager was there this time and she indicated that she would also not be able to refund me my money. After a little more discussion she finally acquiesced and gave the money back. So, to recap: I didn't get what I original ordered. I was told to come back that next day for a refund. They argued until the stolen money was returned. I was given a whopping $2 gift card for the trouble of not getting what I wanted/having to come back the next day. Truly horrible customer service all around. I have spent nearing $100 in the last month at various Tim's locations in my area. Next month that amount will be $0.
