Very small salad with two eggs which after opening the box revealed itself as two half eggs. Also known as one egg.

Taste was ok and ingredients are fresh but for the price you don't get a lot of salad. This came nowhere close to satisfying my hunger at lunchtime. Especially egregious was the fact that I ordered two eggs on Ritual only to find out that I only got two half eggs. I learned my fractions in grade 4, that's more commonly known as "one egg". Way better options for salad in the same food court.

The tropic smoothie tasted good, but not awesome like Village Juicery's. It's also way cheaper though. The spinach salad with beets, carrot, avocado, hummus, pickled onions, pico de Gallo and "roasted" cauliflower was also good, and a few dollars cheaper than a similar offering at Impact. I really wanted a warm veggie to add to the salad so I roasted shallots and fingerling potatoes myself with fines herbes. It'd be nice if they offered this, especially in the winter. FYI, choosing hummus as a dressing gets you 2 tsp which isn't even enough to taste. If I knew the salad was organic, I'd give 5 stars. I downgraded to 3 stars because another reviewer complained about only getting half an avocado! I received 2 teaspoons of mashed, so the portions need to be straightened out.

My team ordered from this place for a working lunch, and found it mediocre. Personally, I think that Salus offers great quantity for its price value, and is a superb option for creating your own custom order. However, my colleagues who ordered from the menu weren't too pleased. One ordered the Corntolla and found the sriracha dressing to be far too spicy. Another got the Beets Me and complained that there was only one measly scoop of beets - indeed, the quantity of beets in her salad was the equivalent of that in mine. She also didn't particularly enjoy the melange of flavours. I made my own salad, with a mixed base and choice of 7 toppings. I was very pleased to discover that hard boiled eggs and avocado (half an avocado!!) are included in these toppings at no extra cost! Unfortunately, I found the roasted sweet potatoes to be far too salty. It was unbearable! I also wish that they offered slightly more roasted cauliflower... Overall, I was very pleased with the salad and toppings; however, I was quite disappointed that they charged me $3.50 for a fairly small quantity of salmon. In fact, it wasn't even a salmon filet; rather, the protein was composed of small shredded salmon flakes. Overall, a decent meal averaging at about $12 per person. Will likely return, but not get the salmon!

    Before mixing it. Corntrolla!

I was venturing around Union Station for lunch and came across Harvest Clean eats!…read more First impression was that they had a lot of options on their menu that also accommodated various dietary restrictions - lots of vegan and vegetarian options were available. I was craving a warm bowl and their new Spicy Miso Salmon Bowl caught my eye. The price of the bowl was on the higher end (~$22 before tax/tip) but not surprised as we're in the downtown core. I will say .. the portions were very generous and all the ingredients were very fresh! I was pleasantly surprised and am satisfyingly full. They had a lot of different vegetable options mixed in and the rice was nice and warm, reflecting the freshness once again. There were a lot of other items on the menu that I was interested in so I would be keen to return, especially for their smoothies. The ladies at the cash were very quick and helpful when I had some questions about my order. I got my bowl pretty quickly (~11:30 am) but can imagine this place gets busy. Luckily they do let you order in advance so may take advantage of that next time.

There are nine locations in the east coast. I ordered the Carrot Cake ($3.00). It was delicious! Even my son loved it. All their smoothies are vegan-friendly, made with coconut milk. There are no added sweeteners or sugars; they use juice from real fruits (banana or date extract) as sweeteners. Smoothies cannot be changed to take out the sweeteners. I also ordered a Strawberry Banana Smoothie ($9.95). It is the only smoothie where you can choose to have yogurt instead of coconut milk. Of course I had to try the yogurt version, making it thicker. It was quite good. Even though it says banana in the name, you won't taste the banana because it was only used as a sweetener. All their food are vegan-friendly and gluten-free. If it isn't listed as vegan or gluten-free free, just ask them and they can make it as desired. All products are made on-site using fresh, never-frozen ingredients. There is a large kitchen in the back. Their matcha drinks are very popular, selling about 70% of all their drink orders! They have some nice touches. Their napkins are of such a good quality that it is similar to a cloth towel in thickness. But there are no garbage bins since most people order for takeout; just give you garbage to the staff. There are 4 small tables with 8 chairs total. There is lively music playing in the background. There is free WiFi from Union Station. The cafe is wheelchair accessible. There are separate male/female washrooms at Union Station. There is paid neighbourhood street parking and paid parking lots. Review 2025-136
