We recently moved to AZ and I've been on the hunt via Yelp to find a family dentist. I found the right place and both my girls have already had their first cleaning. The girls upfront are super friendly and we were greeted right away. Filled out some paperwork and cleaning began. They have individual tv's for the children to watch off of Netflix. After their checkup they were given tokens to get toys out of the dispenser. The doctor and staff were all great with my girls. If you don't have insurance they offer plans right through the office which will save you money. My oldest daughter needs some extra work done and scheduling was done right away. I also scheduled their follow ups. The office was clean and they have refreshments as you walk in (my girls took advantage of that). read more

I'll start with the positives first. The staff was friendly and the office was clean, modern, and high tech. Now for the big problem... They seem to say you need unnecessary work done to make money. I went in for a routine teeth cleaning and they stated I needed scaling and root planing and a cavity filled for the tune of about $500 above and beyond the insurance. Keep in mind I'm 44 and have never had a cavity. I seriously thought about getting a second opinion, but talked myself out of it. In hindsight, I wish I had gone somewhere else. My daughter went in for her routine teeth cleaning a month later and they told her she had 13 cavities that needed filled! You read that right, 13!! She had just been to a different dentist 6 months prior and had no cavities or fillings. So we learned our lesson and took my daughter somewhere else. Guess what, no cavities! We won't be returning. read more

I love this place! Who says that about their dentist? Yep this guy right here! I have been going to this dentist office for years. EVERYONE here is super-friendly, the office is extremely clean and I love how fast and efficient they are! Regina has been my dental hygienists since I have been coming and she is great at making her patients feel comfortable and relaxed... again, who can say that about their dentist office?? I can!!! Dr Lepetich is awesome as well. I recommend you book now because they get extremely busy and I am guessing they are booked out for months! That's how awesome they are! Remember to ask for Regina! The moment I walked in the door, I felt welcome. The front end staff is friendly and very helpful with follow up information on services you may ask about for future. My hygienist, Shannon, is the best. Takes note of my sensitive spots and is mindful about my concerns of tooth loss. Always telling me where I need to floss better to stay on track. Julie is always great to visit with and is very helpful on helping to explain my benefits to me. I never stress about my dental anymore. read more

I highly recommend this dentist office. I am a new patient here and from the moment I stepped in the door my experience has been nothing less than excellent. Regina was the hygienist who took my x-rays and did my cleaning. Her attention to detail made me feel like she really cares and enjoys her job. She even gave me a tour of the office. I had explained to her that I had a bad experience with a previous practice and had some anxiety about going back to the dentist, she made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the process. I have not had experience with the Dentist yet, but I did get a chance to meet him, and he was really nice. I have insurance with my boyfriend doesn't and they told me about a plan they have for uninsured patients that starts at $95 a year which is pretty great! I'll definitely be bringing him back with me! read more

Updating to two stars because their front desk receptionist Mary could use some help in the customer service department. She isn't helpful in rescheduling appointments and sounds like she has an attitude. I tried to reschedule for around 3PM but she insisted it was their busiest time and they had NO availability until April.. I said ok, so can I schedule..? "No... not until August are we available.." LOL ok then. I find it hard to believe that there are literally NO appointments available around 3PM until August and the call was so short I'm sure she didn't even look. I had my friend call right after me to see what appointments were available, my friend spoke to someone named Sasheem? and was able to schedule a 3PM appointment in March, and WOW there was availability. SO CRAZY!! Guess it just depends on what receptionist you have! read more

Hey!!!!! I spent days researching and found that Copper Canyon dental office is as good as it gets... None of that sale you upgrade talk, just good ol' fashion dentistry the way its suppose to be. Great experiences thus far with a few minor hiccups. Have had my teeth cleaned a couple of times now and the dental hygienist are nice as can be and the support staff is very accommodating. Had moldings taken for retainers and was scheduled to return a week later. There was some confusion between the dentist and the laboratory with the moldings, so they called to notify me and asked me if I could come in to redo the moldings and return later for pick-up. They went above and beyond with their service from the front desk to the hygienist, overall great atmosphere. What separates them from other competition when it comes to 4 & 5 stars is this for me, other dentists offer a lifetime whitening service which I had in New Mexico and have experienced here in Arizona. Here a small tube of whitening is $20 each. read more

My wife and I love Copper Canyon Dental! We have been coming here for about 3 years and have absolutely no complaints. Regina is awesome and very thorough when explaining what is going on with your teeth. The entire staff at Copper Canyon is excellent. Mary at the front desk is definitely the person to talk to if you have any questions about your dental insurance coverage. She did a very good job of "dumbing" it down so I could understand. Our three year old loves going to the dentist because of how friendly everyone is with her. If you are looking for a new dentist, then look no further. Copper Canyon is the best. The staff was super friendly starting with the receptionist all the way through the last person that scheduled my next appointment. They were super thorough with explaining what they were doing and even took a picture (my request) in this cool rocket ship thingy (not really a rocket ship) that I have never seen but takes an image of your jawline and nerves to help identify any potential issues that your basic dentist wouldn't look for. They were all easy to talk to and my entire family felt really comfortable with them all. Thanks to the entire staff! read more

The only downside to this place is they're so busy, if you don't have a flexible schedule, it may be tough to get in right away. That of course is not a terrible thing for a business. Everyone is kind and seems to be happy working there. The office is clean and decorated well. They have X-ray machines right in the rooms so no going back and forth. They have toothbrushes and mouthwash in the bathroom so you can freshen up before someone sticks their face in your mouth. I approve. read more

I had a great experience with Copper Canyon Dental, and then my husband went in for his appointment... We looked for a new dentist near us as we are new to Gilbert, saw that CCD had fantastic reviews so I figured I would try it out. I had a great experience, everyone was so kind and informative. I was excited for my husband to experience their care as well. But from the first few minutes of his arrival he was treated in a way that no one has ever treated him before. When he arrived he made small talk with the woman at the front desk while he waited for his appointment. It was a few days before Thanksgiving so she asked him what his plans were. He replied telling her that he was going to his in-laws house as his mother-in-law makes an amazing Thanksgiving dinner. She responded by saying something along the lines of "typical guy, just sitting on the couch while the women cook all day". This was just the beginning of her judgements, but let me just mention quickly that my husband is the cook in our household, AND always helps out in the kitchen on holidays and is in no way, shape, or form, a sexist man. Kind of taken aback by this remark, my husband was called into his appointment and later told me how great the dental hygienists, and Dr. Lepetich were. When he went to check out, another woman asked him what his plans were for Thanksgiving so he told her the same thing. To which the previous woman at the front desk, from around the corner, heard and responded by saying "is that the guy who is going to sit in the recliner while the women cook? Not a good idea to be bragging about that in an office full of women." My husband said that it seemed as though the rest of the office was uncomfortable by the comment she made. Then he replied by saying that he was just happy he wasn't on shift this Thanksgiving as he is a Firefighter. To which she responded by saying that she has friends in Phoenix Fire Department and she has no sympathy for any Firefighters. He left after that. I called and left a message with the office informing them of the experience my husband had. I received a phone call from someone I believe was Janice, who apologized for the matter on the woman's behalf and said it would be dealt with and explained that it was just the woman's "humor". My husband has a great sense of humor and for anyone who knows him would vouch for this. But we both do not believe that these statements were of humorous nature. I was told that a call would be made to apologize to him directly in the next couple of days, but that call was never made. We understand that mistakes are made, we are far from the type of people to complain often, but for our first experience at this dental office, and to be treated in this way, we felt it was important to bring this to attention and not let this be pushed under the rug. Unfortunately, as much as we loved the rest of the office, we will be taking our business elsewhere. For anyone who is considering trying this dental office, we do recommend them and we hope you have a better experience than we did. read more

I had my first appointment for an exam and clean and it was a great experience! I enjoyed talking to the hygienist she was very nice and she let me know what was going on with my teeth and she made sure I did not experience any pain. The dentist was amazing! He found things that my previous dentist didn't. The office is very modern and nice and they have yummy refreshments! My husband and I have been going here since we moved to Mesa,AZ 5 years ago. The office staff is friendly and efficient. Dr. Leptitch is so nice and he doesn't push any services on you. Dentist and hygienists are good. Front desk is pushy, rude and borderline harassing. I'm taking my family elsewhere. Very tired of being called up to 4x per day a week before appointment just to make sure we'll be there. When I mentioned how annoying that was and if there was any way they could communicate less, I got a mini lecture from the receptionist about the importance of attending appointments! I wasn't saying I was going to no show for an appointment! I was coming and just asked to dial back the reminder calls. She just told me in an extremely rude tone that communication was their policy. I told her to cancel all of my family's future appointments amd to lose our contact information. Way too many dentists out thete to tolerate this type of treatment. Just awful. read more
