This place is right by our house and we used to go there because we it was so close and we like to support local business. But our last 4-5 visits have been incredibly disappointing. The food is good, but it's not worth the poor service. We have eaten there about 10-15 times, maybe twice during that period did we receive quality service. Servers are either inattentive or just downright rude. The last time we went there we sat down for 10 minutes and no one approached us, not once. After 10 minutes of no one coming to help us on a day where there were maybe 4-5 other people currently in the restaurant we got up and walked out. Went there for Sunday morning breakfast on recommendation of a friend. Ordered biscuits, gravy and specifically asked for crispy hash browns. Gravy lacked any flavor, thankful pepper and hot sauce on table. Biscuits must have been sitting around awhile as they were definitely not fresh. Hash browns were not crispy what so ever. After trying a few places around Michiana this place has risen to our favorite. It's reliable. Some complain about wait times but the place was packed yesterday and they were all over it. I think only once did the wait time seem abnormally long but when a place is packed and people are waiting for tables, I don't think it should define them (I mean clearly they deliver in other ways). The menu is huge! I never had an omelet with gravy on it but after mistakenly ordering it, it's become my go to dish. You can really get filled up here. They're orange juice tastes like it was freshly squeezed, probably was. Their are a couple fancier options around town that are good too but we mostly choose this place on Sunday's after church. read more

I recently came to copper creek and it took 15 minutes for a waitress to even come to our table. Then it took another 20 just for drinks.

The people here were very nice and the atmosphere was very family friendly. But the food was mediocre and was honestly a bit bland although it was for a great price. I would recommend if you're looking for a cheap family friendly breakfast place. Definitely have had worse. read more

Great food, great servers! Megan served us this morning and was outstanding!! Didn't take long to get our food at all. This place is big, seats a lot of people, and has a huge offering on their menu. If your looking for a fantastic waitress ask for Lisa P. She is friendly and attentive to her tables. I have had other waitress in there and by far Lisa P. has been the best! Christy is one of the worst I've had in there!!! Went yesterday order a meal to split and had to divide the plates up myself once I received the food. Nothing like trying to split a plate of biscuits and gravy to have the gravy all over the place. Thanks Christy you saved me a tip!!!! Copper Creeks menu has much to offer. The service is great and it's clean. I've had their pancakes and waffles and they're pretty good, but today I had the worst eggs benedict ever! The hollandaise was almost non-existent and was more like yellow grease than a sauce. The English muffins were sandwich thins - flat and leathery (could not cut them with a knife). Amanda is not the server that you want at your table. Amanda will take your order, bring your food and the bill. Amanda will not return to check on you, your guests or drinks. Today, I had to go refill my wife's soft drink myself. When I got to the kitchen door another server started yelling at me. I explained that I just wanted to refill my wife's soft drink. Finally, one of the servers did refill the drink for me, and I had to carry it back to the table. No one apologized for the lack of service or the yelling. I think that the rude behavior was because I am a senior citizen. I encourage my fellow senior citizens to stay away from this joke of a restaurant. read more

Just left Copper Creek after almost an hour--no food! Asked the waitress, after 35 minutes, to check on our food. Another 10 minutes, asked again. She said she had forgotten to put our ticket in and it would be "just another minute." No apology at all. Five more minutes and we left. This place has some major problems, and it starts at the top with management. We waited an hour for our food. Not once did I see a manager come around and help our poor waitress by refilling our coffee cups or taking our plates. She got slammed, and was running around like a chicken with her head cut off. I got up along with two other customers and helped myself to more coffee. This girl was not properly trained, or she was slammed with tables, and let things slide through the cracks. We watched a bus person munching on a candy bar while she was bussing tables. No sight of any manager in this place. The food was excellent. They have a good thing going here, but they need to properly train their staff, and need some management support. Our first hint was several clean tables sitting empty with tons of people waiting to be seated, and they weren't shown to these tables.
