Been there several times. As is the case with many business, its hard to find help. But, they keep rolling on. The food is really good. The bar is good. Both have improved alot since they opened. You won't find an owner who is more involved with 1) the business, 2) taking care of employees, 3) promoting not only their business, but others in the area. read more

I have never been to this establishment. We are looking forward to finding a bar that serves good food and live entertainment. We went to this bar during the chili cookout. We are able to sit outside and listen to the music. People were dancing and singing along as was I. The drinks were very powerful and potent. Beautiful day for a drive, so we decided to check out Main Street in Belleville. We arrived about 2pm and discovered the street would be closed and no parking at 3 for a Halloween event. Fortunately, we were able to park free on a nearby community parking lot. Copper Fire looked interesting, quite large inside. Not many patrons and no table service. We did receive immediate friendly greeting from the bar. Just told to seat ourselves and order at the bar when ready. Both food and beverage menus were quite extensive. It didn't take long at all for our food to be brought to our table. Fried cauliflower appetizer was tasty and crispy, more than enough for 2 people to share. Salads were fresh and nicely sized. I really enjoyed the chicken salad...plenty of sliced roasted chicken breast, garnished with red & apple slices, feta cheese, dried cranberries, sugar pecans and lightly sweet dressing. Intrigued by the build your own pasta menu; will have to return some evening to try that. Restroom facilities were large, exceptionally clean and well maintained. read more

We were there Friday May 3 for dinner-Our server was terrible. She didn't know what was on the menu. I ordered a Sam Adams Boston Lager and she asked me what's that, I said it's a beer on your drink menu, She said, Oh we don't carry that. She was asked multiple questions by our party and multiple times said I'm not sure. When our food came my wife had the strawberry fields salad and it had mold on it. When our bill came, she had items on our bill that belonged on our friends and items on our friends bill that belonged on ours It would've been helpful if the manager wasn't partying at the bar with the old guys drinking beer and pay attention to her customers. read more

I was able to get a quick and delicious lunch at Copper Fire & Eatery. As I walked in the door, I was greeted by the friendly host and taken to a seat. The service was excellent! I was given refills of my soda with out asking. I ordered the cheeseburger. The burger was quite tasty! I did not have to wait long. The service was very prompt. There is a lot of choices on the menu awaiting my next visit. I am also glad they have a kids menu so I can bring the whole family. I returned to the Copper Fire and Eatery with the family. The food was delicious. We started with the lobster rangoons. They were amazing! I ordered the candied bacon burger with the kettle chips. It was very good! My wife ordered the brisket sandwich and enjoyed it as well. I wish there was regular chicken tenders on the kids menu. My son did not enjoy the cereal breaded chicken tenders. read more

I really wanted to like this place. The atmosphere is warm and cozy as and the decor was really nice. I had the drink special of a Tulle Tini which is made with my favorite Irish Whiskey. This drink was so strong and not balanced well I couldn't enjoy it. The hubby's Titos and Sprite was the same way. Sometimes you want a good balance with mixed drinks. Th these both missed the mark. The Chicken Cesar Salad was a good portion size (it should be for $14) but it was Waaaay over dressed and the dressing was to peppery. I had the BLT with candied bacon (up charge) on Texas Toast. The sandwich was good but I had to asked for Mayo as it was really dry. Think about adding g a great sauce or condiment to this!!! The Mac n Cheese again while gooey and cheesy, it was just to peppery. Not sure if it was a Pepper jack cheese (which I do not care for) or what. The prices are high as well. I was visiting a friend and we came here for lunch -- I am pretty sure stayed for 3 hours! They had the live band playing all the hits of the 70s- 90s and it was so fun to sing along! We ordered the fried pickles and jalapeño poppers that were delicious ! I had to try the Toasted Ravioli because it was apparently a very Midwest thing but I just wasn't a fan. To balance out the fried foods I got a Caesar salad and it was excellent! My friend got a variety of slushees to try and loved the creamsicle one. I stuck with Budweiser bottles. Went in for dinner last night. Had a huge surprise when we received our bill. What restaurant charges $1 for ranch? $16.67 for a tiny panini (croissant) plus an extra upcharge of $3.13 for FRIES. Ok, sure. Now we get charged extra for using a credit card? Two sandwiches, one califlower appetizer, and two beers a piece. $75. Nope. ​ *Editing review since the owner got snarky saying we didn't tip. We tip cash. Always. We are also industry people, and both have been for many years. Ranch for $1 is insane. Put that on the menu. Quality unfortunately was not worth what we paid for. If I did want fast food, I could get a better (real) panini from Panera! UPDATE JULY 2021: Friend convinced me to come here again. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised at how much this place changed. Both the atmosphere and the menu have vastly improved since my first visit two years ago. I even tried cauliflower wings for the first time and decided I like them. I have eaten lunch here twice now. I do not understand why they are going with the model of the customer ordering and paying at the bar and then having their food brought out. Maybe that's just for lunch service? Or maybe they are experiencing a staffing shortage? Whatever it is, it does not make for a great experience. One time there I had a large salad. It was very nice, a kind of Southwestern themed salad with corn and black beans and tortilla chips in it. Nice mix of greens. My friend had a burger, which she liked. The second time I had the cod sandwich. In this part of southern Illinois, most places know how to make great fried fish, but this was a disappointment--I think it was actually a frozen portion. My friend had the BLT, which looked pretty good; but I do not know why they insisted on putting cheese on it. All in all I think the food is okay, but spotty. And the service is not that good. On the second time there they got my order wrong. I would have asked to change it, but again, there was no server so it would have meant me doing the leg-work and I had come here to relax. I don't know if I would come here again, but for some reason my friend has taken a shine to the place, so I guess we'll be back. read more

Disappointing. The atmosphere is that of a typical sports bar. The waiter was fairly attentive. They were out of more than half of their appetizers. All of the most popular, plus a few others. I went to the restaurant last night with my birthday club (9 people) and were very disappointed with the food. First of all, let me get out the positive first. The drinks were good. We tried the adult slushies and martinis. The restaurant decor was nice and there was live music. As for the food, it is over priced and poor quality. I ordered buffalo shrimp for the menu price of $16 and was charged $18.75. The mozzarella cheese sticks are listed as $10 and were $12.50. I looked at the menu online and the price matches the menu given in house. However, when you get your receipt, it is not the case. The waiter advised that due to inflation they had to increase prices which is understandable but I just saw a review from late 2022 stating the prices were not as listed also. That is enough time to make updates to your website and physical menus or at least mention it to customers. There is a small part on the menu that states prices are subject to change which the waiter pointed out. However, most people assume that is in reference to entree items that are market price items. But again, if your menu is grossly incorrect, you need to say something. Also for that price, I assumed the shrimp were prepared in-house and may also have a house-made buffalo sauce. That was not the case. The shrimp were the pre-breaded big box store shrimp you put in the over or fryer and the sauce was Frank's hot sauce. Nothing worth $18.75. There were only 10 on the plate. I ordered mozzarella cheese sticks and someone else order toasted ravioli. We were given ranch dressing instead of marinara sauce. When we asked about the sauce, we were told they were out of marinara sauce. We should have been told this prior to bringing us the items so that we could have some input on what we wanted. Ranch does not go with everything. Another person in our party was told she didn't order a shrimp po'boy or the wings that we knew she did. The waiter later acknowledge he put in an order for buffalo shrimp instead of the po'boy. However, he still tried to convince her that only one person at the table ordered wings. I advised him that they had a whole conversation about the different sauces in which he told her specifically about a spicy strawberry sauce that wasn't on the menu. Needless to say, she never got her order. All in all...not a good experience. You can come for the drinks and entertainment. But eat somewhere else. read more

Don't you love it when things that were going to be boring get taken off your calendar and...bang you're free to play hooky for the afternoon. Well that's just what happened today. I came home early to surprise the wife with a lunch out. We got a suggestion for Collinsville (we were going over anyway for something else), that fell through so we headed "downtown" locally and walked until we liked something. It is clean and well appointed, love the converted old bicycle as a hostess stand. The hostess today was an exotic young beauty, polite and efficient. It was after the lunch rush and they weren't busy, but I have the sense she does fine no matter what is brewing. Our server was a bright eyed, handsome young fellow, Tyler. He was cool, admitted he was new and answered questions with confidence and when he didn't know something about the style of turkey (sliced or carved) he scurried back to the kitchen for the answer. We were very happy with the service. I got a candied bacon burger, nearly perfect. I wasn't sure about the texas toast instead if a bun- but it worked. Cooked to perfection and great seasoning with the spicy mayo that comes on the side. My wife got a Turkey Apple Brie sandwich and Mac & Cheese. She really liked the cranberry mayo that came with it (again, smartly on the side). The plates were well presented without being pretentious, the prices are solidly in line with the area and quality. I want to give it a few more stops (come when busy for example) before I rave about it, Copper Fire is a solid 3,maybe 3.5 based on this trip today. We will be back. P.S. We held our son and fiancé's engagement party in the up stairs room on January 13th. I cannot begin to say enough about how outstanding our experience was from beginning to end. We signed our contract and immediately Renae began corresponding with us. We had several questions about what food to choose, how much to order, etc. Renae was spot on with her suggestions and the food ended up being a huge hit. We brought our centerpieces and photos in, but to be honest, this room is so gorgeous it really needed nothing at all. I cannot even tell you how many people at our party commented on the room and how phenomenal it was. They even made sure they got the Chiefs game on! Kayla was our bartender for the evening and she was absolutely terrific. She was quick, personable, knew how to create a drink when someone asked for something special and was so friendly. Food: the tots were served hard and cold when brought out with my Adult Grilled Cheese, however, our awesome server brought us kettle chips to holds us over until fresh ones were made and they were rock star! Hot, crispy and well seasoned. I have tried Copper Fire several times. My experience before this one ended in hair in my daughter's salad and no offer to even comp the dish. I just thought it was an off night. I love the location and atmosphere. Drink selection is average. The food is extremely overpriced and sub par. My daughters ceasar salad was way over dressed and really spicy. I enjoy a lot of spice but not in a ceasar salad. I had the roast beef sandwich. The sandwich was good but the au jus was really salty. Really too salty to eat. Lastly we were given dirty dishes three times. No excuse for this. Appetite ruinier. Again great location and atmosphere for a restaurant , just the wrong restaurant in its place. read more
