RECOMMEND My truck died, wouldn't restart and the alarm started going off. Weird error message "key not found", key was in ignition.....Towed to Telge Automotive and they tracked down a loose harness connection that was a quick and easy fix. Guaranteed the dealership would have charged me 5X what Telge charged for the repair and would have had the truck for a week. Took my car to Telge automotive for AC leak. Unfortunately, I have a tricky leak. Robert recharged the AC , added dye and instructed me to come back once the car AC starts warming up and the dye had a chance to work. I asked Robert what I owed him for the Freon recharge and he said not to worry about it. I will be taking all my cars to Robert from now on. read more

Honest, quality, efficient service! After recieiving a ridiculous repair estimate from our regular mechanic, I shopped the work at Telge. The owner, Robert Trevino, quoted the same work over the phone- 500$ less! I am not even kidding. And his price was about $40 less than dealer price. AC work was done same day for the originally quoted price. This is our new mechanic. My dad dropped off his 10 year old jeep for a basic service and once over after along drive from Virginia. Trevino called with report of work needed, fair price and done same day. He recommended a couple of additional small repairs, but explained that they could be tackled later. No pressure. I own a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado LT and I had my AC Go Out and My Passenger side headlights go out all within 5 minutes of each other at Night while driving. I was really concerned I had something Major like a wiring harness issue. The Next day on a busy Friday called Robert Trevino owner and took in my truck in after a Dr visit. Roberts Team upon arrival T/S the problem and took action... The Telge Automotive team replaced a small AC belt, put in some Freon in order to repair the AC unit. The team said just the headlight bulbs had gone so they just replaced the light bulbs and I also asked that they do a oil change while they had it on the rack. HONEST, FAIR PRICES, FLAWLESS WORK. I've been taking my autos to Telge since I moved to Cypress in 1999 - a four-driver family, so about 10 - 12 cars over the time period. Can't tell you the number of times Robert told me my amateur analysis was wrong, and his pro analysis was cheaper! I took the car in for new brakes - he said I had plenty of life left in them. A suspected bad alternator was really a weak battery, etc. Prices are always fair and way below any dealer's rate. Have never had to bring anything back. He even looked at a used car for me that I was considering, and told me not to buy it - no charge. I would never think of going anywhere else. read more

No offense to any auto mechanic reading this, but finding an honest, trustworthy auto mechanic seems to be a difficult task. When my 05 F-150 began leaking oil and I was told it was a rack and pinion problem I called around to price a replacement. Most shops wanted over $1,000 to do it, but Robert and crew offered to do it for $350 cheaper. I dropped off the truck and waited on the call that she was ready for pickup. The call I did receive however, was NOT what I expected. My rack and pinion wasn't leaking and was in good working order, and Robert said he wouldn't feel right changing a part for no reason. The actual issue was a mere loose oil filter with a slow leak. When i arrived to pick up the truck he didn't want to charge me anything, even though he had also inspected the rear end per my request. These guys are honest, hardworking individuals who have definitely earned a customer for as long as they keep the doors open. read more
