We were traveling from out of town and meeting up with an old high school friend and Copperhill was the perfect place. They had a menu full of great selections ... from brunchy items to salads/sandwiches and great healthy selections too. Our server Cat D. also did a fine job of keeping us all very happy, she's a great server. I had the shrimp tacos which were very good. My husband and HS friend had the kale salad with a big piece of salmon on top. We all really enjoyed our meal and had plenty of time to catch up with each other. The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated with cool art and flowers/plant life. They did a great job with creating a cool vibe inside. It does get a little loud, so if you're looking for a quiet meal, brunch on a Sunday might not be the place. The restaurant gets pretty crowded.. and for a reason. What a wonderful place! All around consistency from appetizers to dessert! We recently celebrated my birthday and Copperhill did not disappoint! Everything was so fresh and delicious. We had the grilled octopus, it was perfectly cooked and very tender, dressed with frisee, olives and citrus. We came to Copperhill for my wife's birthday, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The location is beautiful, elegant, and welcoming, and the staff couldn't have been more friendly or attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. The braised short ribs were incredibly tender, the hanger steak was perfectly cooked, and the bucatini crab was rich and flavorful. We also enjoyed their handcrafted cocktails each one was balanced, creative, and made with real care. Overall, it was a wonderful evening and a perfect place to celebrate a special occasion. We came here for a vow renewal so im not sure if the food we had is the same as the restaurant but everything we did have was delicious. They started us off with a delicious charcuterie platter followed by a burrata salad with pears. This was amazing and went exceptionally well with the bread they gave us which was drizzled with delicious olive oil. For the main I opted for the filet mignon which I dont normally like but this had such a good demi glace. The bartender was excellent and made delicious cocktails as well. Loved this restaurant! Perfect for an intimate dinner or a gathering. They also take reservations to host their space - plenty of showers held here! There's also a parking lot which makes it super convenient, both for anyone dining here and for hosting events. The decor is also lovely inside so I can see why they get booked for private events. The service is also amazing. The staff came a few times to check on us, refill our drinks, and also changed our plates. The food was amazing. From the appetizers to the entrees and even the dessert. They're very much a farm to table style so all the ingredients are fresh and reflect what's in season, which makes it all the more delicious. The menu would change slightly to reflect the seasonal ingredients. For example, we had one of the most delicious burrata beets dish where the highlight was really on the beets, and I'm not even big on beets. I don't think I had a single bad bite from our choice of dishes and we ordered a looooot to share too. We really enjoyed our experience here and would highly recommend it! This was my first time here and it was just lovely. The ambience is warm and welcoming. I love all the greenery kudos to the decorator. My Cheddar Scramble was delicious other than the bacon. I should have requested a swap out of the protein, but I just didn't think of it. The bar I set for bacon is that it taste at least as good as Costco's bacon. This didn't come close. I hope the purveyor considers using a different bacon. It was plentiful but dry and tasteless. This did not take away from my overall dining experience and I still would order the Cheddar Scramble again. I just would not order the bacon. We also had the French Toast and it was very yummy. I tried Copperhill for Sunday brunch. I didn't have a reservation but was still able to be accommodated, which I appreciated. The ambiance was nice. For the price, I thought the food was average. The plates were picture worthy but I didn't find the taste to be anything special. We got the Breakfast Poutine, Eggs Benny and Hanger Steak. The Breakfast Poutine was probably the richest in flavor and it probably was what we liked the most. There was a nice sauce on the bottom that had a little spicy kick. The Eggs Benny was basically a poached egg over avocado toast with two small pieces of thick cut bacon. Normally I'd like all of those things, but I thought the hollandaise sauce was too sweet. We went out at the bar, I called same day to see if we can get a table but reservations for 2 were only available at 9pm. Definitely call in advance and know that they open at 5. So we ended up rolling the dice and sat at the bar. Best decision ever!! Because the food came out fast and barkeepers were very social and knowledgeable about the menu and all the drinks. We ended up getting the grilled octopus, lamb skewers, and braised short rib. Grilled octopus was two large tentacles over a salad with some harissa hummus. It very tasty especially with their bread, a focaccia baked in house and coated with an amazing olive oil and herbs. The lamb skewers were very flavorful and went well with the tzatziki sauce. Lamb was well seasoned and delicious. Finally, the short rib and polenta was our main course that we shared and it was delicious. The gravy had so much flavor and the short rib was so tender that you can break it apart with just your fork. Every bite was delicious and well balanced. For our drinks we went with the screwball which was very flavorful and refreshing. I had the juice break IPA which was easy drinking and went with the meal very well. For desert we had the skillet bread pudding and Bourbon ice cream. It was absolutely delicious. Can't wait to try more of the menu. Ambiance is very cozy with plenty of small tables and nice lighting for a warm atmosphere. Went to brunch. Made a reservation via open table. I recommend a reservation bc it was a full house. Had the cinnamon donuts, warm and made to order. And the shrimp avocado salad to start. Ranch dressing was home made imo. Huevos rancheros and lobster roll. I have had the huevos rancheros here many times. Always good. Poached eggs were runny and cooked correctly. Lobster roll was I think with the ranch dressing not mayo. We prefer butter style but this was very good. Ryan and Gabe did an excellent job. My sister took me here for my birthday and we absolutely loved it! The restaurant itself is lovely and good for date nights, but also seemed like bustling option to meet friends and hang out by the bar. We started with a bottle of a white wine, based on one of the server's recommendations, and it had all of the notes we were looking for. They also give out a focaccia for a complimentary appetizer which I could've probably eat 2 plates of. I had to save myself for the main course! We shared a grilled octopus, which was cooked to perfection, a pasta dish (well balanced between rich and not too heavy), seared scallops, and a duck breast. It's weird to pass a place all of your life and never actually step inside it. Consider that the relationship I had had with Copperhill, a building/restaurant that I passed for years yet never went to...until now! Well, a few weeks ago that is, for brunch. And hey, it was a pretty tasty brunch. The reason for the trip was actually because my sister will be having her bridal shower here and so we (parents and wife) wanted to check it out prior to the event. A reservation was needed and so we strolled in at 11:15 (our res time) and immediately sat at a half sofa/half seat table. Looking around, the ambiance has a contemporary rustic vibe. Wooden fixtures, filament light bulbs, and some greenery to keep things looking fresh. Now as a Yelper/foodie/human of the current time, I did what most do and checked out Copperhill's menu prior to the visit. So when I saw that they had a specific type of drink (Pimm's Cup) I was super excited. When actually seeing the physical menu in front of me, several of the drink choices (as well as food) were different. The online menu is actually not accurate and so there's a little bit of misleading info here, especially because they didn't have that Pimm's Cup available. I did end up with a delicious drink called Garden Variety which had a similar style to the Pimm's Cup, but I wasn't offered any other initial option by the waitress. I just went with what sounded the closest. This wasn't a huge issue, but still annoying in the moment. Beyond that, as stated, the drink I did have was refreshingly tasty and the grub hit the spot for the most part. We started with warm biscuits and jam which were so fluffy and flaky. A little small, but fantastic nonetheless. The shishito peppers we ordered were also perfect, though we just couldn't figure out what the dipping sauce was that it came with (not listed on the menu...). For my main brunch meal, I got the huevos rancheros which were definitely good and had a lot of those Mexican-type tastes, though I've probably had better. My wife's B.E.C. sandwich was also not the best ever, but still pretty great. Overall, Copperhill is a formidable spot for brunch, even if its menu needs to be fixed online (just checked and it's still the outdated one). The food is tasty enough as are the drinks and you'll get a pretty cool rustic feel with the ambiance. So consider this a checkmark of a place I never necessarily thought I'd go to, but I'm glad I did. read more

Then another staff (maybe the manager) came over and asked us the same set of question then she told us the first availability is 1:15pm. We made small talk about our 6-week old baby. The staff we encounter was straightforward and very matter of fact. No biggie so we left and started driving. I was curious how busy could a brunch place be on Long Island since we were from NYC and unsure about the dining scene here. I went on open table to find that they have 11:30AM availability. I was baffled. Update 12pm: It gets better! I made the reservation but did not go back and just check if they have canceled it. One of my old coworkers chose for us to have dinner here and I couldn't tell you how much I loved the experience! Though a tad more on the expensive side for Long Island, Copperhill brings out its A game with the beautiful simplicity of the farm-to-table concept. Walking in, I loved how Copperhill used the wooden structures in its space to replicate the feels of an open barn. The menu changes seasonally and all their items are based on fresh ingredients. The dining room Is nicely lit and inviting and the bar looks like someplace you could happily spend a few hours. Service is also excellent. They made the meal feel special w complimentary champagne to start. The problem is the food. It's very mid. We enjoyed the poutine but the shishitos were only okay. A salad we ordered never came and the mains were only so-so. The short rib was salty, the steak was chewy, and the scallops were undercooked and lacking in flavor. The bread was excellent. The food is delicious and so are the drinks. My only reason for knocking off a star is that it's a liiiiiiittle bit pricier than what I believe it's worth. The food is amazing, but some things are a tad bit overpriced for the portion size given. With that being said, I would definitely come back for special occasions because I don't have anything negative to say about anything else here. There is a large outdoor patio and the dining room inside is bright and airy, perfect to welcome summer on Long Island. The restaurant keeps to the theme with its bright fruity cocktails - all the ones I tried were pretty and delicious. My table shared a few of their appetitizers, standouts being the poutine and their imaginative ramen cacio e pepe.
