My hair was NOTHING like the insp photos that I requested. I wanted a BIXIE CUT, walked out looking like my grandchild played in my hair. Im very dissatisfied with the results. I was referred to this place by a friend whose hair is always nice. I called the salon to ensure they can do textured hair and the person I was referred to said YES. He in fact was NOT privy to textured hair and admitted while doing my hair. He should have denied the service and advised he could not accommodate my request. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I should have gotten up, paid for a wash and blow dry and left but I followed through because he said "I would walk the door out better than I came".[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I will post pictures of when I knew this wasn't going to end up how I wanted after he "straightened" my hair and pictures of how I walked out the door. Also, when I spoke to him, I was quoted between $70-90. When I booked, it stated $75. I ended up paying $115 to be disappointed and embarrassed. I didn't have the nerve to say anything, I requested a receipt and eventually gave a tip because, I knew I would NEVER step foot in this establishment again. I sat in the car and booked an appointment somewhere else. So I had to pay to get my hair done twice. The job you did wasn't worth what was charged and there's no way you can justify the results. If you knew you couldn't complete the request, you should have said that. At NO point did you ATTEMPT to get me out of the chair. It will be in your best interest to take some refresher classes. There's no way you have 20 years of PROFESSIONAL experience in cosmetology with the complaints I've seen directed towards your work CASS. read more

I want to preface that this salon has talented stylists and I previously had good experiences here, and that my review is delayed as I haven't been back in two years. However, I had a disappointing experience that I think is worth mentioning for anyone booking. The stylist felt horrible, but said this was policy and there was nothing she could do. In most Southern California salons, late arrival policies are designed to cover lost time or partial appointments, not to charge 100% when nothing is performed, especially when the client calls ahead and the delay is around a 15 minute window. Emergencies happen, and while businesses have a right to protect their time, charging in full for zero service feels disproportionate and not in line with common salon standards or good customer practice. I showed a pic of what I wanted and was able to communicate what I wanted throughout the cut. At first I was worried because I saw not a lot of hair was being cut off, but the change was drastic. My hair has really good shape. I really have to commend Val because my hair is fine, and I know layered cuts can be tricky on thin hair. We were going for ice cream next door and my daughter saw the hair salon so she asked if she could cut her hair so I was like ok let's see. They had availability so we went in by a Very strange experience we had. The hairdresser was nice and did a great job on my daughter but she was rough with the brush and comb but my 7yo didn't wanna complain since she was nice. At the end she only dried out the sides and left the back of her head wet. I asked her if she could completely dry her hair she told me that if she does I will be charged for a blow dry. The whole shampoo and cut was less than 20 minutes it was very fast. Then when I went to pay I believe it was the owner I talked to, he told me in a rude way "just to let you know for the future wash, cut and blow dry is $75" I ask if it was the same price for kids he said "that includes everyone"! I understand now why I saw 2 woman leaving the salon with soaking wet hair, I mean I wasn't greeted or anything or he never asked me how was everything, very cold and kinda rude in my opinion. The hairdresser was nice but this salon would be better if it was owned by someone nicer and more professional. I would give on star but the hairdresser was good. Well I think I keep 'em pretty busy over at Copycutters! As of now my little sister is a regular, my mom, my ex bf (yes he still goes) and two of my close girlfriends just went in this week. That's 6 people so far mods! I went in last week and I have been here many times now. I always have a good experience. The girls (I've only seen girls) are all so beautiful and sweet, and whether the truth is that you look like sh*t and your hair is a disaster or you look like a perfect goddess which I doubt you do hehe- they will tell you- UPFRONT- no lies, no sugarcoating. They all do a great job, most recently I was seen by Theresa. I have very long hair that I want to maintain forever. She took quick notice of my cinched 4-way split ends I've been collecting because I'm so leery of losing length. She minimized the actual amount of length and did something new I'd never seen done before! She took the scissors and meticulously cut each split end she could all the way upwards to my roots. It took a while because she was paying so much close attention to each and every strand. She advised me that I should keep it up in my spare time- any time I have a few minutes to take time to tend to my split ends- especially the ones higher up.
