And things were pretty quick even though everyone was ordering from there! We got the pernil and pollo empanadas with a side of tostones. OMG!!!! I'm going to have a problem with the tostones!!! The dipping sauce was out of this world. Sometimes mayo based sauces can feel heavy and greasy and I wanted to bathe in this one. Everything was hot and fresh. The tostones were chewy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Both empanadas were packed with meat/filling. The most remarkable part was that the empanadas had flavor combos I don't think I've ever tried. Go here!! I don't think you can go wrong ordering anything.

Both of us thought our meals were exceptional. I especially loved the beans. I could eat those of a rice every single day. Our friends ordered some mac & cheese that was delicious. There is indoor seating, outdoor seating under a porch, and then outdoor seating underneath some umbrellas. The six of us sat under the umbrellas and it was quite peaceful with no bugs. Keep in mind this was in the summer around 4 PM. We really enjoyed the food and would definitely go back! I've had beef cheek before, but would like to try it from here.

She was full of smiles and I asked her to make me the first empanada of the day and surprise me. How delicious. Deep fried to a brown, flaky crusted outside and the filling was beyond delicious! I took it inside right away and then I sat down and scarfed. Oh man!! Absolutely delicious. Who'd have thought something so aromatic and tasty delicious could come out of a food truck.
