His front desk staff are very friendly, helpful, and professional. That was a good start. But it got better. We did not have to wait very long to see Dr. Gorin because his staff does not overbook patients, apparently. First, x-rays were taken of my knee, which only took a couple of minutes. The equipment seemed very up to date with very little hassle. Just a few minutes later, Dr. G was available for consultation and review of the x-ray results. Luckily, I got good results. I appreciated the thorough explanation of my symptoms along with the care that I should take of my knee. Dr. G has a great bedside manner and actually listens to you and answers your questions. He is friendly, professional, and cares. I feel very comfortable going back to him in the future. My daughter had the same opinion of him as I do. His office is located behind Aventura Hospital. Parking is hard to find, but they have valet service for $5. That's what we did. It's a few steps to the front entrance and elevator. Go to the 5th floor, and the first door on your left is his office. Very easy. I highly recommend him.

Thank goodness it is not a life or death surgery. Very disappointed. It took about 30 minutes to fill out all of their forms. After that I waited about fifteen minutes to be called back. The staff from the x-ray tech to the nurse were absolutely delightful! I felt very welcomed. Dr. Bridges has a fantastic bedside manner and really listened to me. He took his time examining my MRI. I felt confident in what he explained to me. He ended up draining my knee and he was very gentle and explained everything he was doing and asked if I was doing ok throughout the procedure. The whole experience was as pleasant as it could be. Needless to say, I liked him so much that I am going back for my shoulder issues next week. I highly recommend Dr. Bridges and his practice!

Dr. Mark was very warm as well and helped me understand what was going on with my back even though it wasn't anything serious he didn't just shove me away with some medication. Worst Doctor Dr. Wittels ignored my 90 year old father for…read more48 hours and would have for longer if I did not have a fit at the nurse?s desk. My dad fell and suffered multiple hip fractures and after X-rays and scans was admitted to Mt. Sinai. All the time I was told that Dr. Wittels was going to review the results and get back to us. But he didn?t until I demanded to speak with him. I thought perhaps he would at lease see my dad and talk with us about what to do for him, but he never did. My dad has been in excruciating pain. Thank?s a lot Wittels. When the nurse called you to tell you how upset I was, you did not know my dad?s case, had to have the nurse read the facts and your immediate words of apology are not accepted. You must be too busy and important to deal with a 90 year old man who is in a lot of pain and suddenly can?t walk after the fall. Thanks a lot for helping me his daughter figure out what to do. You don?t do that to a patient. Your lack of care is truly disgraceful.

I went today to the emergency room at North Shore Medical Center after having gallbladder removal…read moresurgery last week and being in pain. Upon arrival the security ignored me and told me to took a seat. No one was at the front desk. Once the representatives at the front desk, a lady with long hair and a guy with a beard they completely ignored my need for help. It took 40 minutes for them to take me in after I threw up and was screaming and crying in pain to be helped. I was ignored multiple times by the lady in the front desk until I yelled sternly for her to tell them I needed to see someone. She made smart remarks about me to another member of the hospital saying "that one" to refer to me needing help and the lady told her "and what". Had it been a worse situation I could've been seriously hurt or worse.It is completely unacceptable how they treat patients. The nurses and doctors were very nice and understanding and took care of me as quick as they could but the front of the Emergency room needs a lot of improvement and people that actually like their jobs and have some sense of urgency. The hospital is dirty and the bathrooms smell awful. Compared to other hospitals I've been to it's clearly noticeable there is no priority to make a good impression on patients. Had I not been in such pain I would've left. I will also never recommend this place to anyone
