I was told that I would probably not be able to be treated successfully as I was a self pay Patient; and unless I was Inherently wealthy would not be able to afford the treatment procedures that he was going to use due to the expense. he stated that he had practiced in Beverly hills and that; Patients there paid out of pocket as they were wealthy. he stated that he would not be able to prescribe any medication except for anti inflammable. I believe that in this day and age! it is all about the monetary gains thru over billing and expensive test that may, or may not be necessary to determine a patients pain and the treatment needed, except no doctor in the state of Florida is comfortable prescribing pain medication..Charles

I have been seeking pain management for over a year now after an unsuccessful back surgery. Dr…read more Kent is a new Dr. here, but I was a patient at his last practice as well. All I can really say is that I would never even consider seeing someone else. I would seriously drive hours just to continue treatment with him. He is a DO that does manipulation in addition to a somewhat traditional medicine approach. Some of the policies at this clinic are different than I am used to. For example, they drug screen every patient, each visit. This is great in the fight against opioid drug abuse here in central Florida, but has its draw backs too. What if I don't have to take a leak?! The office staff seems friendly and warm as well. I would HIGHLY recommend this clinic, and more importantly Dr. Kent for pain management and relief.

I first encountered the sidewalk lined with rocking chairs, similar to what Cracker Barrel restaurant do. It was very difficult to go down the sidewalk using a walker with rocking chairs taking up more than half of the sidewalk space. Next, I encountered the entrance door which unlike most doctors offices in this area do not have the automatic door opening control. For those that with difficult walking and need walking aids, this can be a problem. It is an older building and the doorway is narrow and it was difficult getting the walker through the door. Not long after I got in, I saw a man on crutches having the similar problem. This business shares a lobby with a chiropractor office. The lobby was full of chairs and benches designed for people who do not have to maneuver a walker. This business is NOT handicapped friendly. Members of the staff and nursing staff I encountered were cold and robotic. I did not see anyone smile or say hello. After waiting 20 minutes to see the doctor, I saw him less than five and his conclusion for my issue was , quoto, You need learn to live with the pain and see a pain management specialist, This was a first for me and never had a doctor told me to live with the pain I will not go back to this business or doctor and highly recommend no one else does either, especially if you're handicapped.

I had a knee replacement and was without meds the entire weekend. They never apologized and only gave me excuses as to why the med never got sent to the pharmacy. They sure didn't forget to charge me the $45 copay. They never offered a refund on that either. The office manager is rude and so are the office staff. They can't keep office staff past a few weeks. High turn over rate because they are rude and incompetent. The billing specialist is no better than the rest of the crew. She never followed up after I called and explained my situation and sent the necessary information in an email. RUN, don't walk to another pain management facility.
