We had a wonderful stay at Coral Cay in unit 220. Just minutes to the beach. Our unit had great views of the gulf from the balconies. The unit is nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. There are 2 well maintained pools and the staff is friendly and helpful. Another great thing about Coral Cay is it's great location, it's in town and close to the resturants, shopping, marina and parks. read more

I stayed in Coral Cay Apt 115. It was absolutely beautiful. From the well-appointed kitchen to the original art on the walls, everything was perfect. It's a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo a 2 minute walk on a beautiful boardwalk to the beach. We walked to the jetty which was so fun. The location and price made this a great value stay. Coral Cay is absolutely lovely. The property is kept up beautifully, and the pool is especially inviting. It's so easy to access the beach from here- the gulf views and vibes are positively revitalizing! Unit 115 was gorgeous and spacious. Beautiful condos right on the beach! Came here with my boyfriend for a quick weekend getaway and had a blast! The front office provided pickleball stuff and the pool was heated! We got to walk to the beach and see the sunrise and sunset every day we were here. I highly recommend this place :) read more

We have stayed at various condos at the Coral Cay over the past few years. We love it! The condos are very clean and have many amenities. There is a nice boardwalk to the beach, and there are 2 pools for those who enjoy being in the water. Whenever it's available, we try to stay in #115. We love the bright, original artwork. The master is roomy with a large closet. The beds in both rooms are really comfy. The rooms are nice and quiet, too. Two bathrooms, each has a shower. The kitchen is well equipped. These condos are located close to everything that Port A. has to offer. The marina, fishing piers, restaurants and shopping are just minutes away. It's the perfect beach getaway. read more

We've stayed at the Coral Cay numerous times over the years and have always had a good experience. Most recently we stayed in #115 and it was wonderful. We could walk right out the back door to the beach via Coral Cay's boardwalk. The condos are built so solidly that they have survived many a storm and you never hear your neighbors from inside of a unit. The two pools are always clean and the grounds are well taken care of. Unlike some of the new builds in the area, these condos are really well made and offer a wide variety of different configurations to fit any given situation. read more

Stayed here over Easter weekend. We stayed in a privately owned condo vs the office rented ones. We have nothing but great comments for this unit. The owners take pride in their unit and have decorated it to the beach/tiki theme. Also... Boats can be parked right outside, and covered dining with BB grills (charcoal) on site for your use. These condos are so perfect for that quick Texas beach getaway. Even if the weather isn't cooperating, you can rest assured you will be comfortable and have all of your needs met in these condos. Each are individualised with their own special touches/ decorations. We got a 1 bedroom condo beach front, and it was a) very quiet and sturdy (due to the brick walls), b) right near the boardwalk to get to the beach, c) VERY CLEAN with daily maid service to give you fresh towels, d) reasonably priced and LARGE for two people. The one bedroom had a sofa couch that worked out great. We had a full kitchen and TV/ DVD as well. Even if not the newest establishment, it is very solid. Staff was friendly, check-in was open till 10pm (great because we arrived later), and check out was equally easy. I can't wait to go back! read more

These condos were GREAT and I literally do not have one complaint about them! If the group I was with hadn't been coming here for years, I probably would have never considered coming here, but I couldn't have been more pleased. All the rooms are individually owned so they are different and have their own flare. We stayed in 3 2-bedrooms; each of them equipped with nice furniture, plenty of drawers a fold out couch bed in the living room, nice decorations, fully stocked kitchen, dining room table, TV's, chairs, games, books, coat hangers...you name it, it was available. Best of all, THE AC WAS COLDDDD!! Almost too cold, but in Texas, that is never a bad thing. There was maid service and fresh towels brought daily. The pools were nice and never crowded. Parking was never a problem (even on a busy weekend). Staff was very sweet and on two occasions we locked ourselves in and help was there within minutes with a master key. The condos are a minute walk away from the beach and have their own board walk for easier access as well an outdoor shower for cleaning off and hoses for the downstairs condos. Coral Cay is also close to all the main shops/restaurants and yet still secluded enough that you're not in the "middle of the party" in downtown Port A. Overall - this place was great and I'd recommend it to anyone, regardless of the size of your party and if you have children or not. read more

Less than a minute's walk to the beach, well kept, nice staff, easy in and easy out. Pools were clean and not crowded. Plenty of parking with very little noise from the neighbors. Even though we didn't stay in the room for long, the time spent there was pleasant. read more

Wowza! This had to be the worst place I stayed in! Stay away from Room 142! I felt like I was stuck in the 80's! The place was old and outdated! Cobwebs hanging! When we pulled back the sheets we found a part of a stick. It was apparent we weren't the first people to sleep in these sheets! Master bedroom should have had a queen-sized bed but it was a full and the mattress was so horrible apparently it was still leftover from the 80's. Owners put a cheap pillow top but that didn't help! The couch was more comfortable! Faucets were dripping and our luggage was too! There was condensation everywhere most likely from the AC unit that didn't cool! The floor was wet in the master bath because condensation was dripping from the vent! Doors didn't lock! I could keep going on! Save your money! I would have been more comfortable in a tent on the beach! read more

Recently stayed in a Coral Cay Condo. We were very comfortable and happy we stayed here. We were in room 220 very clean had a split floor plan downstairs kitchen fully stocked just bring your food, dinning table for 6 and living room pull out couch and a small tv with a 1/2 bathroom and a balcony which we enjoyed during our late night chats. Upstairs were our two bedrooms and full bathroom - master bedroom king bed and small tv had it's own private balcony which was amazing to sit and hear the waves as the moonlight reflected off the water. We had a full moon which made it even better. Short walk to the beach. clean pools open til 10 pm. Check in and Out were a breeze. The only thing we were a little eh about was the cigarette smell in the room but since we didn't spend too much time other than breakfast and late night snacks in the condo we were ok with it for a few nights. We are excited to return and use Coral Cay again. read more

As my favorite condo "The Sandcastle" is not yet open for business I thought I would try Coral Cay in Port Aransas. It has been 2 years since I had a vacation and I along with my GF, son and his GF were ready. Upon arrival the staff was nice. Once we arrived at the room (Room 142) which was a split level 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath beachfront unit I knew this was not going to be what I expected for $399.00 a night. The unit was extremely outdated with furnishings appearing to be from the late 80's and 90's. Zero renovations. The 1/2 bath and upstairs bath had the vent hanging from the ceiling by a thread. I saw only 1 working smoke detector, the beds were absolutely horrid in regard to the mattresses, they tried to fix it by adding a low end topper (my back still hurts), the TV in the master worked when it felt like it, the 2nd level rear balcony door was not secure due to the lock rusting in the open position, you could lock the door but still open it with a push. The HVAC was horrid, freezing on the 1st level and 10-12 degrees hotter on the second. Condensation built up on our suitcases and the mirrors upstairs. The stairwell carpet was moist due to the hot/cold difference in the air. The hot water heater was leaking and the catch container it sat in was half full of standing water. Some of the light fixtures did not work. The furniture was ancient and very cheap. The parking situation was horrid as a portion was blocked off due to some type of drain backed up in the parking lot. The rear exit door to the rear patio opened and closed but the automatic swing arm meant to close the door was detached and hanging from the door. That is a majority of the issues. I feel like I was robbed of over 1400.00 for a 3 day stay...it was worth about 49.00 a day in my mind. I will never, ever stay at this place again. I have photos of all this. I am not a typical complainer I assure you..but this time I had to hopefully spare someone the agony it was at staying in this unit. What a lovely place! Just spent 4 relaxing days at this hidden jewel. The entrance is off 11th but it has another complex setting on the actual road. Coral Cay sets about 150 yrds off the road towards the beach. Very quite and secluded. The Snapper fishing in Port Aransas was fantastic! The weather was in the low 80's in June in Texas! The staff was fantastic and our condo was way nicer than anything we have ever stayed in in Port Aransas. A big two Thumbs up to Coral Cay and if your planning on booking ask for room 217. I promise it will not dissapoint with the ocean view! read more

Check in was fast and friendly. The condo was very clean and comfortable. Private from neighbors and never heard noise from anyone around. Stayed in beachfront condo with a great view from the upper balcony. We could walk out the patio door onto grass to go to the beach. The boardwalk was very close. There was a water hose on the patio to wash the sand off everything. Parking was easy and right in front of condo door. Pools were nice and uncrowded. Would definitely stay here again. Staff is super friendly, got a couple office cats. The litter box needed a cleaning as it smelt like poop. We rented the first floor room in Sept for the weekend, location is nice close to beach and we drove short distances to nearby restaurants on the strip...The condo however had a smell to it, walls are thin. We could hear the party late night above us. Housekeeping tracked in grass when they cleaned our room one of the days. I liked the location and staff but won't stay there again. read more

This place is great. We stayed in room 144 and it had everything. 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. All the appliances were new in the kitchen. Every room had a flat screen tv. Just a quick walk over the dunes and your on the beach. We would sit out on the patio and you could hear the waves. Can't wait to come back next year! read more

Stopped by for a possible one night stay (website doesn't allow for this at least for weekend visits when we came through) and of course they were able to accommodate us with a condo for the night. I used to come here with my family as a teen back in the mid 90's. It is exactly how I remember everything. The condos are aged but well taken care of. Being close to the beach is awesome and early morning visits to the beach are just as awesome as it isn't very crowded. Would definitely stop by Coral Cay in the future. read more

I've been coming to Port A for years, but this was my first experience at Coral Cay. The property is kept well, and beach access is super easy, as you would expect from any PA beach front condo. Pools were nice and not overly crowded. However, that's where the kind words end. We booked and paid for this weekend stay nearly 4 months in advance. Chose the condo we wanted on the first floor and were excited for our trip. About two weeks prior to our arrival, we were contacted saying we would be moved into another condo, as the owners of the one we chose would be there the weekend we would be. Which was fine, but, they moved us to a second floor condo, that wasn't as nice or as close, and offered nothing for our trouble. I later found out the one we stayed should've been slightly less expensive. The condo it self was old, and not well maintained. Kitchen is very small, and there is only one shower, for up to 6 people(we had 5). The decor was nice, but hadent been up dated in a long time. Furniture/beds were very old and uncomfortable, my son actually chose to sleep on the floor. Just seems like the owners are doing the bare minimum to keep it rentable. Basic amenities like extra TP, were not kept in the room. Bottom line is, I've stayed at nicer places in Port A, for less money. We still had a great time, and while I'm sure they have other condos here that are nice, next time I'll book a different location. read more

Had a misunderstanding with the location to the condominiums and notified them as soon as possible. They told me there was no one else to speak with and that I would just have to eat the deposit. The travel industry should be more careful with how they treat customers. I would not recommend this location to anyone who expects fair treatment. read more
