Pleasantly surprised by Coratti's! They're in the former Cottage Inn space and have a little market, a dining space and bar as well as upstairs with bocce ball and more reservable private-ish space. We came on a Friday ~8pm and there was quite the wait so we just rolled up to the bar. Had the: *Thea's Flaming Cheese (Italy meets Greece: Kasseri & parmesan cheese flamed together) - so Michigan, it's usually called a flaming saganaki I believe but this is the best version I've had so far! Served with bread. *Meatballs (Ground beef, topped with house tomato sauce) - came with three pretty large meatballs. Very tasty and appreciate that it wasn't dry. *Pollo Parmigiano (Breaded chicken breast, tomato sauce & mozzarella served over pasta with veggies) - love a good chicken parm and Coratti's has a good one! Also the portions are HUGE - you get TWO breasts so I took one home for another meal. The veggies were a wonderfully steamed and buttered green beans. *Cannoli - was just OK. the flavor was good but the cannoli filling itself was a bit broken and chunky. Our server/bartender Olivia was wonderful. Pro Tip: Bocce ball can be reserved so keep that in mind if you want to play! read more

First time trying Coratti's, I ordered carry out, Vegetarian Eggplant Parmesan, Eggplant Rollatini, Classic Italian sandwich and two orders of bread sticks with marinara and alfredo sauce on the side. I asked for extra cheese and 2 meatballs with my Eggplant Parmesan. I really wanted to like this place, that being said the Eggplant Rollatini and Vegetarian Eggplant Parmesan were inedible. The breading was thicker than the very thinly sliced eggplant pieces and everything was so salty, that is all I could taste. The meatballs were good and the alfredo sauce for the bread sticks was good also. My husband had the Italian sandwich and unfortunately he said it wasn't very good. Maybe my hopes and expectations were a bit too high, Pasquale's on Woodward back in the day set the bar pretty high! I may give Coratti's another try....it's hard though, after spending over 100$ on inedible food. read more

First time we went last year, we really enjoyed it and we were excited to come back. But when we arrived on a Saturday, about two hours before all online information said they would be closed, they were already closed and cleaning up. I understand things are slower in the summer but after driving downtown and parking just to come here, that was frustrating. I wish the business would update their hours. read more

This is our third visit to Coratti's downtown Ann Arbor. Each time trying something different on their menu. Tonight we chose one of their Napoletana style pizza's: the Prosciutto e Rucola: Truffle oil, ricotta, prosciutto Di Parma, baby arugula, shaved Parmesan, drizzled with balsamic glaze. This was a unique pizza, very fresh flavors, and generously portioned (they add the prosciutto and arugula after cooking their crusts which I think are done in a wood fired style oven, great flavor and light. Everything we have had here has been very good. The staff is always friendly and helpful, tonite Caleb took excellent care of us. The ambiance is lively, they have Bocce ball upstairs which can be fun for a group or family outing. Definitely a good addition to downtown Ann Arbor as we recommend checking them out. read more

Aidan found this place on Instagram and took me here on a random Tuesday after an exam. We ordered carryout from the little store next to the restaurant. We wanted a quick meal which is why we didn't dine-in, but were able to order anything from the regular menu to-go. I ordered the Build-Your-Own Pasta and got spaghetti noodles with Alfredo Sauce and Aidan got their secret menu Margarita Pizza that's only $5. He said it's the best pizza he's ever had and would highly recommend it to everyone! They make all their own pasta noodles in-house and they're amazing in flavor and texture. They're unlike any noodles I've had before and we definitely will be coming back. We sat upstairs in their Bocce area and were pleasantly surprised to find out there was a tournament going on. Turns out it was one of our friends playing and he was telling us each team gets a free pizza during the game and the winners get $75 worth of gift cards over the span of a 4-week tournament. Definitely something worth participating in if you have free time and they do the tournament again! The staff was also so nice and were super patient while we decided what to get. They brought out our food super quickly and were so friendly and welcoming. The shop that you order carry-out at has a cute store attached where they sell homemade noodles (2/$5), sauces, drinks, and more! Lastly, we got gelato, which might've been the MAIN reason we were there because Aidan found out it didn't have egg- something very uncommon! It tasted great and the Strawberry flavor had real strawberries in it! Such a cute little Italian place near Central Campus in Ann Arbor. Pizza was very good. It was a special but I asked to switch out one ingredient for another and they were happy to accommodate without extra charge. Sauce was really tasty and the beer was cold. Stopped in to kill some time waiting for my wife who was at a meeting. It was slow but ate at the bar where I received great service while watching a WCup game. Typical place I remembered from law school (it was the old Cottage Inn) only nicer. Comfortable place to have pizza or burger and watch a game. read more

We had a fantastic time at Coratti's! I went with my family for my birthday dinner and had a blast. We started with cheese bread and steak bites which were incredible. My family said the steak was cooked perfectly and we all enjoyed the super cheesy cheese bread! I decided to build my own pasta. I chose capellini with palomino sauce and opted for baked cheese on top. WOW. It was incredible!! The homemade pasta just brought it to another level. It was cooked perfectly and the palomino sauce was perfect. My husband got the chicken Alfredo and although he loved the noodles (cooked perfectly), he wasn't the biggest fan of the Alfredo sauce. There was not much flavor to it at all. My mom got the chicken Marsala and absolutely loved it. My dad got the meat lasagna and finished it in a matter of minutes because it was so good! My brother got the rigatoni and said it was 10/10 as well. Each dish came with a big salad, too, and their ranch I opted for was amazing. It's a really cool setup they have in there as well! Everything was super delicious, especially the burrata pizza. The burrata was super creamy and the crust was crisp and flavorful! The wood fired sandwich was also super delicious, and the ingredients all tasted very fresh. Service was really friendly too! The food took a decent amount of time to arrive but it was definitely worth the wait. The ambience and decor were also super cool. Looking forward to trying the gelato in warmer weather! read more

My group was there on 2-14-26. We were seated immediately. The benches were hard wood and close together. It was difficult to get in and out of a booth. We ordered 2 different pizza's and the eggplant sandwich. One of the pizza's was so-so, one was pretty good. The eggplant sandwich had 2 burnt eggplant slices that they called the "crust", filled with a variety of peppers with cheese slopped on top. Everything was served cold. Typical Ann Arbor prices. Took staff about 10 minutes for us to get greeted which was upsetting. They were nice when they got to our table but throughout dinner was not very attentive. I built my own pasta with the palomino sauce which I thought was good, but it did NOT come out hot. I wanted to tell my server but they were no where to be seen for a while so I decided to just eat it. The space was cool and has a good vibe, this place has potential but service and food were a miss on my first visit. I ordered the "8 Corner Detroit style meat lovers" pizza tonight. It is, without a doubt, the best deep dish pizza in Ann Arbor - period! In fact it's the best pizza I've had in years. That includes pizza that I've had on recent trips to Chicago and downtown Detroit. They also have an impressive selection of pressed olive oils, wine vinegar, multiple types of hand made pastas, beer, wine and more. Very noisy. Service was good, beet salad was good. Ordered the pesto verdura pizza bianca, which had nice toppings but the crust was soggy and limp, and it was drowning in balsamic glaze which made the pizza too sweet. House wines were terrible, and the beer selection was poor. read more

Excellent service. I highly recommend the sauce flight as a starter to help you choose your pasta! It is also important to remember your food is being cooked, not reheated. It takes a moment for the food to come. It is well worth the wait, and the staff are checking in on you regularly.
