Had the bacon ,mushroom and ceviche pizza. Fantastic. Take out pizza and a loaf of multi grain bread slices. Great place and really good food.

This is one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The crust is amazing, the toppings are of the highest quality. It takes a bit to make a pizza so I'd suggest ordering ahead online. The service is always fantastic. The person at the register is exceptionally kind and welcoming. Patient and friendly. The inside is tiny and there is usually a queue. Raterman next to Erratic ale is a pair made in heaven. Order a pizza or sandwich from Raterman, enjoy a pint while you wait, or while you eat. There is no indoor seating for Raterman however there is a patio at both Erratic and Raterman to enjoy your food. No table service. You are given a pager for when your food is ready. Now on to the bread - I took home the regular sourdough sliced and was blown away that this bread was good and fresh on my counter for 5 days. The bread is so tasty, we were choosing toast with jam for snack over anything else we had in the kitchen. Simply incredible. I just wish they had better hours. Check their hours before attempting to visit.

    My Reuben. Super yum

An amazing super-cool (trendy) spot for foodies and those who simply appreciate great bread. This is tucked away in what looks like a boring business spot but is filled with delights. I had the Reuben and took a couple loaves of bread and some pretzels with me. The sandwich was fine (not overstuffed like what you get with Reuben's elsewhere these days) and came with homemade corn (tortilla) chips which were okay. The multigrain loaf zi took home was absolute best I could imagine. The pretzels were more like rolls than what I am used to. I cannot wait to go back for another loaf of bread. BTW there is a microbrewery next door (or at least that is what it looked like)

If you don't have any reason to go to Dexter, make Raterman's the reason. Located right next to Erratic Ale Co, Raterman's has an amazing menu filled with sandwiches, amazing pizza, and fresh baked bread to go. You are able to order and take food over to Erratic or sit in the shared space outdoors. There is also a small seating area in Raterman's, as well. They piqued my interest because of the many vegan options that they offered and I wasn't disappointed. I got the pear and feta vegan pizza and it was freaking good. I'll be sure to get out to Dexter more often!

Best pizza in Dexter, by a lot. There should be a line around the block, what ever they are selling I am eating.

I've been wanting to try The Dakota Inn forever, and we finally had an opening to go. You know…read moreyou're in for something different when you pull into the guarded lot. The building has been there a long time, and you enter a different world when you walk in the front door. First off, you need a reservation. No big deal. We scheduled around the time of the piano player, that added to the atmosphere. There is something cool to look at everywhere. They were a bit short-staffed this night, according to our waitress, who mentioned it a few times. You could tell, things were moving really slowly. We got a few drinks and some St Clair punch (water), and waited to put in our order. We split some entrees, and while the sides are of decent size, the entrees themselves were on the small size. I've been to some other German restaurants, their entree sizes are significantly larger in the same price range. The separate sides of spaetzel were decent size, but kind of dry. We should have tried the cheese version. Things were decent tasting, but not amazing. The carrot apple slaw was a lot better than we expected. I'm glad we finally came and had the experience, it's really a historical gem.

I would go back for the Pork Chops again and again. My boyfriend's Mom ordered them and shared them with me. It was delicious. Everyone really liked the Potato Salad. I would skip dessert next time and go down the street to The Little Dutch Girl Donuts. We were all so full. It was a great celebration and I hope to go back to this restaurant again.
