Delivery is super quick! I've tried the chicken bacon ranch pizza and the garlic bread. Both were so delicious and really hit the spot. The pizza is just as delicious as leftovers. Only giving it four stars because of my last order - when I opened the pizza box it looked like the toppings all slide off to one side of the box. I really don't understand the hype about this place.... the first thing I tried from here were the calzones which were reallly good. The pizza however was AWFUL. Last time I got pizza it was too salty. This time there were hardly any topping on our pizza. Itt was disappointing because we paid extra money for our toppings. We have had amazing food from them every time. Grinders, calzones, pizza and salads. Every time we order the food has been great.

We've eaten at a TON of Mancinos and Bellachinos restaurants and usually love them all. This one was a little different. They had a Monday grinder special, $5 for a 9 inch and $10 for an 18 inch, this is an excellent price. My husband got the pizza grinder and I got 1/2 chicago steak (my absolute favorite) and 1/2 gyro. The gyro was excellent, lots of tasty meat, and the cucumber sauce was really good. The steak was a bit disappointing, there wasn't enough steak or cheese and it was kind of dry. The Mr. said the pizza grinder was ok. I think they were a little mushy due to them wrapping them in foil so they kind of steamed as we made it home. Service was awesome the guys were super friendly and fast. They clearly work well together. I will be back, just not to get to subs to go, or if I do I'll have them put them in a pizza box instead of foil. read more

I have twice (once recently, hence the motivation for a review) taken advantage of this Mancino's for lunches during work training events. The first occasion was located nearby and uneventful: the food turned out great, came on time, and was affordable. This recent occasion, the event was happening further away. I contacted the shop to find out whether or not they would deliver out to where we would be. They informed me they would, gave me specifics regarding delivery fees and minimum order amounts, and invited me to call and ask for one of two individuals by name to get everything taken care of. I called, caught one of them in the middle of baking bread but he told me he would call right back. A few minutes later, he called back and we went step by step through the order specifications, the pricing, the delivery and location, etc. The pricing is great, the food showed up exactly as expected and, once again, everyone LOVED it. If you haven't had a Grinder from here, yet, seriously get on that. Oh toasty yum. Anyway, good food, good prices, and great service. Will utilize again! read more

THIS LOCATION HAS THE BEST INGREDIENTS/RECIPES. This location is a hidden gem, truly. I've tried the one in Westland expecting excellence and had my heart ripped out. I don't live in the area anymore, DEVASTATINGLY, and have yet to find a pizza that tastes as good as this Mancinos. I think it's the dough they use that makes it so amazing but who knows, it's just straight up good pizza. Also I should note that this is your REGULAR STANDARD PIZZA, just because you're in "Ann Arbor" don't expect some artisan style pizza or a fancy location. I love Mancino's... I usually get their 16" Broiled Brest of Chicken... I'll eat the half and take the other half home for dinner. I also love their garlic bread... the staff are friendly, quick service... the sandwich i get goes into their oven, so it takes about 10 minutes for my grinder to be ready... but it's worth the wait. Overall, give Mancino's a try if you haven't been there, study the menu before you go, but selfishly, I would recommend Broiled Brest of Chicken. read more

This is not the Mancinos I remember. The steak grinder was finely chopped and barely there. I think it had more garlic than meat and had a lot more lettuce than anything - I could count the mushrooms- not good! The reason they got a 3 star was because the delivery guy was so happy and friendly and they did get everything correct on the order. I should have taken a picture of the sub and side salad it-was sparse as well. read more

I've ordered chicken grinders on three different occasions and each time I was unsatisfied with how it taste, compared to the Mancino's in Adrian Michigan.. First time I went, I ordered takeout at the counter. It took about 40 minutes. Guy finally handed me my order and said "Reuben with pickle". The sandwich was toasted perfectly and delicious, but the pickle was missing. I figured a $1.50 oversight wasn't worth a whole phone call but I guess I was wrong. Today, I came in and ordered a sandwich at the counter to go....and again, with no warning - it took them about 40 minutes. I tipped $2 when I paid even though nobody was waiting on me but then as I was leaving when I asked for a replacement pickle the same guy told me no, and his reason was "I don't have any idea when that happened." Also, for waiting 40 minutes you'd think my sub would at least be as delicious as the first time, but no - it was barely toasted and the meat was still cold in the middle. I will not go back a third time. Rude. read more

I called to place a pickup order today. I paid for with my credit card over the phone for two sandwiches. I realized I called the wrong location and called to see if they could cancel my order I was hung up on, called again hung up on, called again asked for the manager and the guy on the phone said he was really busy and he's the one that hung up on me. My sister and I decided to try Mancino's Saturday night after reminiscing about it from college, where in that podunk town it was one of maybe 3 restaurants in the area. We order online on route, expecting it take maybe 15 minutes to prepare. We were wrong, took over a half hour. We arrive 5 minutes early to pick up my order, a chicken bacon ranch grinder combo with fries and their calzones and cheese bread. So we get there, and after hearing it'll be just a few more minutes, decide to take a seat. I immediately notice how dirty the restaurant is. Both the floors and tables were covered in food remnants. I was a little grossed out to be honest. Then, I hear commotion in the back. One guy says to another guy "there were two calzones, you didn't notice the price?" Oh crap. Yes, they forgot to make one of the calzones. An employee says to us they forgot to make a calzone and are working on making it now so it'll be a few more minutes and offered us a fountain drink, which was nice. But, it took more like 10 min to get, meaning the other food is sitting there getting cold. We took the food home and although the grinder was decent it wasn't as good as I remember. Also, the burnt areas on the grinder made it incredibly bitter. Fries were a throw away, not good at all. My sister and her fiance said their food was just OK. If we come back next time, might muster up the courage and eat in, or head to the location in Saline which my sister said is much nicer. read more

I'm going to be honest, I'm really digging Mancino's right now. I remember eating there when I was younger and I really liked it. I've recently come back and the pizza and grinders are still just as good. My last trip was no exception. I ordered a personal mushroom and cheesy bread, and the hubs ordered a chicken/bacon/ranch pizza. Both orders were at our table within 10 minutes of ordering, and were piping hot and absolutely delish. I think it has something to do with the sauce and the white cheese they use. I'm a saucy person and hate dry pizza so when the cheese and sauce starts sliding off the piece, I know it's gonna be a good one. 1 star away because the interior of this place is atrocious. If this was carry out only, I could understand but since there is seating, they really need to give the interior a face lift. A coat of paint goes a long way. read more

Being from from Chicago where we have great pizza we didn't expect much and we were still underwhelmed! Tasteless dough, boring sauce and sausage nuggets that looked like dog food! The first time I reviewed Mancino's, I ordered in-house; I'm updating my review because of a recent delivery debacle. A couple of coworkers and I ordered Mancino's sandwiches based on my earlier experience, expecting a 15-20 minute delivery; a full 45 minutes later, nothing had arrived. I pinged the company about the lateness through Yelp, and fifteen minutes later the delivery guy arrived. At this point we had been waiting a full hour for delivery, which was the elephant in the room. Instead of acknowledging the lateness, the man left without a word. The food quality was great, but the sheer wait time has negatively impacted my perception of this restaurant. I'd recommend that anyone interested in Mancino's avoid having food delivered; instead, find another delivery option or bite the bullet and drive over. read more

I ordered DoorDash 3 times in a row for a good grinder. My entire order was a grinder. Calzone and cheesy bread. There first attempt they delivered just the calzone. I called the store after placing the order to make sure it was all right. The second order attempt they delivered the cheesy bread and pizza. With the cheesy bread in a grinder sleeve. So I assume they gave the driver the wrong sandwich wrapper as the 3rd time I tried ordering they ignored my calls entirely. In total it took me 3 hours of ordering and waiting to not get what I ordered. And it's now 9:30 at night. I've Literally never experienced the level of Incompetence as I did tonight. DoorDash was at fault as well for not ensuring the orders were right. read more

Mancino's is a chain offering grinders and pizza, but it's only a small chain in Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio. I first experienced the Mancino's on Gull Road in Kalamazoo when I lived on that side of the state. I loved the buns they use for the grinders, and though I haven't specifically seen them offered at the Carpenter Road Mancino's in Ann Arbor, I recall they offered whole wheat ones at the Kalamazoo location. The hot grinders are really good. The bread is crusty on the outside and soft on the inside, and flavorful all around. I've had the salads, and they're pretty good, too. The aren't the cheapest sandwich shop around, but the quality of the ingredients is good, and the grinders are pretty big. I have actually eaten in at the restaurant, but although it's clean, it's not much to look at. I'm pretty sure this location does most of its business as takeout. When you're sick of national chains like Subway or Quizno's, I'd recommend giving Mancino's a try. read more

Mancino's makes fabulous grinders. One of my favorite things was the fact that they were a pizzeria too, so all the toppings available for pizzas were also available for the grinders. Who can say no to a Stromboli with pepper rings on it? I certainly can't. The interior of Mancino's is sort of cheesy - this American-Italian decor is just... too much. The wood paneling is nice, and the tables don't wobble... but that's all I can really say. They make quality pizza and fantastic grinders. If you find yourself in need of a serious sandwich, then go here; the portions are huge! A large grinder can feed two people easy. This also bears a fringe benefit; dinner for under $10! Can't do that anywhere but White Castle it seems like these days. I've had all the different meats they serve, and they're all delicious. It's the sort of place that makes you try new things because it all sounds good. And in this case, it's true. read more

Delicious. I would go ahead and give them five stars but I haven't sampled enough of the menu. I always get a grinder and I love theirs. I honestly can't say all that much. They're locations are not real close to my house so I don't have Mancino's as often as I'd like (I'm kind of lazy) and I haven't ordered a large variety from the menu or sat down inside and eaten I always get mine to go. The pizza here is good and they have rarely messed up our order if ever but the wait times are just getting to be too long. It would be one thing if they informed you of the long wait time when you ordered but more often than not they will tell you it's a 20-25 minute wait when you order but after you've sat in your car for 20 minutes waiting for your order it's closer to an hour wait. I was driving through the area, called to place an order and wanted my food I was driving through the area, called to place an order and wanted my food done a specific way (and had it repeated back to me) got there, paid, took my food and came home, living 35miles away, got home opened my food up and it was maid wrong, now I call to tell them what had happened, ask if it can be replaced, and I'm told it can be remade for a 25% discount or to bring it back. Now I will not be eating this food because it's made wrong, unless I drive 70 miles round trip for a $14 order not including the gas I will be out, and when I try to get information on the Manager currently on shift, I'm told no that I cannot get his information nor the store owner, So I have to find out the hard way (yes only $14) that this is how this place of business runs, and when you try to get info on Managers and owners get told flat out no, we cannot have this, furthermore, I WILL find out who runs this establishment, and I will be contacting the BBB so they are aware as well. I HIGHLY advise is you choose to eat from this place to make sure you either eat there (which it's quite small) or to not leave the counter until you open up ALL you bags of food and check for yourself, as the Competence level is not that high, and I can only "assume" it's only a reflection of leadership.. If you have had similar service with this business PLEASE PLEASE write a review as well, as they need to start to be held responsible for their actions, as their policy seems to be "Have it their way", and Hide behind the proverbial actions of doing very little. read more

Good food, but drivers drive like idiots. We nearly got hit while walking our dogs one night when their driver blew a stop sign.

Tried to go here during posted hours, it was close to closing time but they were not yet closed waiting for people to pick up orders, when I tried to order they said they were not taking any more orders even thought it was before their posted closing time. I worked food service I get it you want to get cleaned up and get out of there, but if your sign says open, your open you don't refuse a customer just so you can get out quicker or get home sooner. Mancino's is a place I regularly order from. The problem with them is that sometimes their food is absolutely incredible, and other times it is really poorly done. They aren't very consistent. However even at their worst they are a three star place. The Tuscan Chicken grinder is off the heezy. All their pizzas can be amazing, but they are inconsistent with toppings and crust. I keep ordering from them, and probably will keep ordering from them because even at their worst they are by far the best in the area. read more

Tried their pizza this evening for the 1st time. We ordered carryout which they delivered quickly and correctly. The low rating is due to the lack of quality of the food. I ordered a pizza with green pepper. The crust was very bland and flat. They didn't allow their crust to rise properly before cooking. It was like chewing on cardboard. The cheese was a low quality cheese. I also ordered the spinach feta bread. Also, just wasn't impressed. The cheese was only partially melted and the texture was weird. We also tried the mostaccioli with ground beef and a steak calzone. The pasta was the best dish. I wish they would have just served it vegetarian style because they have the option of three meat choices: ground beef, meatballs, and Italian sausage. But, since they don't cook the meat with the sauce it leaves the beef flavor standing out too much compared to what one would expect from a meat pasta sauce. It was piping hot and cooked nicely. The noodles were overcooked and soggy. The meat on the calzone was terrible. Such low quality steak, it was gristly and greasy and just gross. I threw it out after a couple bites. Honestly, I should have known better than to order steak from a pizza joint, anyways. So long story short...I won't be ordering again.
