"I don't take shit (if you wanna call it racism) from anyone" I have gone to a lot of different LKQ around the states this one in particular so far is been the worst I understand that the small capacity of space limits them to just a few cars compared to most, so far they started doing the 90 day warranty but staff is not warning the clients they just automatically put in the warranty, the cashier who took care of me someway got all mad at me because I didn't want the warranty I don't know if it is because I am Latino that he thought I wouldn't speak up he tried to make me feel less of a person but encounter that I don't take shit (or if you wanna call it racism) from anyone, it was a simple fix and he made it seem as in if I was stupid, he made a return so I get a disposable fee and recharge the items again and you know when you have an account you lose your points when you make a return and he acted like if what I was telling him he didn't know or I was not telling the truth, simple fix people or how about this, give us that extra warning that you will charge us more with that new warranty thing and at least give us a chance to except or deny, yes there is a piece of paper by register saying about it (some people don't ready English) but we just came from catching sun and sweat and all we want is to get the hell out of there do not take advantage of that fact PLEASE.

LKQ Self Service - Charleston is a great place to find auto parts for your car. This is one of the best values in the area for what you get versus what you pay. This place is well organized and managed as you are able to quickly find what you are looking for without much trouble. The staff here is friendly and laid back and they offer plenty of assistance. Overall this place is awesome for your car.

Had an issue with an AC odor in my GLC 300. I spoke with a receptionist on Monday and was surprised…read morewhen she gave me a following day appointment. Arriving at the dealership and after an initial review by the service manager to a Tech Bulletin addressing this issue, he corrected the issue in a short time. ALL the dealership associates were all very pleasant, professional, and customer service focused. Again, thank you to the service team at the dealership.

DO NOT purchase a vehicle from this dealership…read more I bought an Acura RDX from them and within three days of having by it, problems started surfacing. Before the sale, I was assured the vehicle had "passed a 182-point inspection" and had a "clean history." Those claims could not have been further from the truth. Concerned, I took the vehicle to a local Acura dealership for a thorough evaluation. The result? Nearly $6,000 worth of necessary repairs that should have been identified -- and addressed -- before the vehicle was ever listed for sale. These were not minor cosmetic issues; they were significant problems that directly impact safety, reliability, and value. What's most disappointing is the dealership's response afterward. Management has been unwilling to take responsibility, acknowledge the oversight, or make any meaningful effort to resolve the situation. Once the paperwork was signed, their customer service disappeared entirely. If you value transparency, integrity, and accountability, look elsewhere. The promises made during the sales process did not match the reality of the vehicle, and the lack of post-sale support speaks volumes about how this business operates.

Sold a car to Carmax and the experience was great. Fast and transparent process…read more Sales on the other hand is a different matter. I was looking for a SUV and had 2 models I was considering. Local Carmax had one model available that was more than I wanted to spend. I told the sales person what ai wanted to spend not how much I had available to spend. They were hesitant to show me the model in stock because it was above the price I mentioned. They actually said they didn't want to show me it because it was nicer than my budget and I might not be satisfied with the other lower priced different model. We did a test drive and they requested a different model from another location that was in my stated price range. I went back for that test drive and was told I couldn't drive it on highway to see how it handled at highway speeds. The highway was less than a half mile from the dealership. Not sure who would buy a car without knowing how it handles and accelerates at different speeds. The "test" drive was a dive around the block essentially on residential streets. Not sure who would buy a car under those circumstances. Wouldn't buy a car from the local Carmax but would consider them again for selling. I bought a newer, lower mileage car for slightly more than the more expensive higher mileage model local CarMax had on my first visit.

When I got to the Charleston location, they notified us that it was ready who went to go pick it up. No one that was currently working. Could explain anything about how to get certain things to operate. They didn't have the time for us, and they didn't give a crap. So we signed off on the vehicle and drove off, assuming that we could get it figured out. By the next day we had come to the conclusion that the two main installed the functions that we ordered the car for or not actually installed. I understand we have a 10 day. But this was a very rare vehicle. The color was highly unique. The rest of the option set was fairly unique. The price the miles everything fit the bill. All they were able to do, or willing to do was give us $1000 off the price the vehicle. It's gonna cost us $4500 or more to get it installed at a dealership that can do the work. Unacceptable. Let's add to that that after we got home with the vehicle, we discovered it was nasty on the inside underneath the seats. And it was the bottom side of it hadn't been cleaned off. There were some kind of oily residue on one of the back windows. And they wanted to give us $50 to have a professionally cleaned. All around experience, not worth the hassle. We used CarMax because we could order and pay for everything online and they even managed to screw that up too. There is absolutely no concern from the corporate headquarters on fixing the problem, and refused to give us any peace of mind that they would try to correct the issue moving forward for any future customers. So beware if you use CarMax at any given location, you're probably gonna get incomplete service and pour attitudes. If I could give negative stars, I would
