I have had to use a physical therapist a few times in my life and I always look back and realize that it truly helped me recover and feel better. I have had lower back pain for almost a year and one afternoon while bending over to get laundry out of the dryer, my back went into a spasm! Wow... I could not move without pain for a number of days. I went to my doctor because I was not able to get to work and he gave me some muscle relaxers and pain pills... but he also prescribed Physical Therapy for me. A few days went by and there office called to make my first appointment. I went in and I met with Dylan. We talked about what got me there and what I had been doing to try and relive the pain. He worked magic on my lower back with a tool and was able to start to loosen up the knot he found down there. It was amazing! Lucky for me, my injury was not very bad. I went to see Dylan 5 or 6 times in total for my pain to be taken away. There are patients who have been going to this facility for a long time to help with their injures and they all seemed to be getting better. Each week I was given a number of lower back excises to do that stretched out my back and strengthened my muscles. After the workout, Dylan was able to use that tool to work on that knot! It was the best part of the whole session! The staff is very nice and very patient with everyone and I am very happy that I found good, caring people to help me with my pain. If I ever need physical therapy in the future, I know where I will be going. Enjoy and feel better!

They fit me on the schedule next-day and then bent over backwards jumping through insurance company hoops to get the prescription pre-authorized and filled. Though I am very grateful for this work, this is the ONLY positive experience I had here. During the same visit, while reviewing my prescriptions with the doctor, he had forgotten his hearing aid and was shouting loud enough for everyone in the vicinity to hear -- including an (incorrect) assumption that I had HIV based on one of my medications. Also during that visit, another patient struggled to check in; he was not able to produce ID because the police had seized his license after he was caught driving with a suspended license. Though of course everyone should be able to receive quality medical care regardless of their circumstances, the clientele here seem to be down on their luck and some of the staff seem to have developed a patronizing "tough love" approach to dealing with them. Two weeks ago, that same prescription needed another run through the insurance gauntlet due to a change in insurance & prescription expiration. The staff again coordinated a convenient visit time for me, which was great. During the visit, the doctor was unfamiliar with my medical history and once again I had to iterate through my prescriptions; he once again made the same incorrect assumption about my HIV status. When I explained what PrEP was, he did not seem to be familiar. The doctor ordered lab work to substantiate the ongoing medical need for the prescription, which I have no objection to. He also ordered an MRI for another issue I raised during the visit. That issue was a bit more acute to me than the labs, which required fasting, so I prioritized the MRI and obtained it a few days later. The MRI results came in while I was out of town for work. The clinic called me to set up an appointment to review them; I returned the call and scheduled it per their request. I arrived on time for that appointment today. This seemed to surprise the staff. I was asked if I had done the lab work; I advised I had not. I was asked if I had seen a chiropractor; I advised I had not. This prompted a look of disgust. I explained that I had been out of town and had not had time for the fasting lab work, and that the chiropractor referral was preconditioned on having reviewed the MRI results--the results that I had arrived today to review--so that the chiropractor would know what to treat. The nurse checking me in (who, from photos on the website, might be the clinic owner) gave me a great deal of attitude, berating me for not doing the labs. I asked to speak directly with the doctor. She took me in to the doctor's office, but did not leave--I was then interrogated by both the doctor and the nurse, who aggressively alleged, owing to the incomplete lab work, that I did not have comprehension of my medical needs or their potential outcomes. This was done with sneering condescension. Had this nurse or the doctor paid any attention to my medical history at all, they'd have noted that I am an exceptionally vigorous practitioner of good health practices, and have spent several years prioritizing good health outcomes. Instead, I was on the receiving end of a "tough love" lecture. While this may work on folks with pliable personalities needing to be cajoled into paying attention to their treatment, this was so deeply misaligned with my own needs and sensibilities that I terminated the conversation and left the practice. I was--and still am--perfectly happy to do the lab work requested, which I repeatedly advised during their interrogation. This fell on deaf ears. It was completely unreasonable for this practice to expect me to complete fasting lab work while out of town, and outrageously unprofessional to berate and demean me when I was there at their invitation to cover a completely different topic. If you need an appointment fast, but not quite at the level of going to Urgent Care, this place will fit you in. The administrative staff is polite and extraordinarily helpful--a true delight. However, it is clear that the clientele typically served by this clinic have driven the medical staff beyond cynicism and into contempt. If you seek treatment here, the medical staff will indeed treat you--as an imbecile who needs to be manipulated into compliance. You will feel demeaned, degraded, and dehumanized. You won't want to go back. An adversarial relationship with your primary care physician will not produce good long-term health outcomes. Go here if you need to, but go somewhere else as soon as you can.

Dr very nice and sweet but asks leading questions when given a sample of the brand name and a generic prescription for migraines, she asks if the brand name works? I said "yes it does" so she only documents that in the progress note and nothing about the generic that she already gave me 36 pills for prior, so THAT is why the nurse tech assumed correctly that when I called for my migraine medication refilled, she initiated a request for the brand name medication I had only 2 sample pills of prior. This then began a long insurance process unbeknownst to both myself and the Dr, however, when I asked to cancel the prior auth for the brand name and just refill my generic migraine meds, he continues to say he will "put a request in and ask the doctor for a recommendation". I explained that's what I had been advocating for & that it's been 3 weeks of back and forth phone calls while I'm working with these debilitating migraines. The office manager states that he "doesn't know what I want" and he will be discharging me with a 30-day prescription for the generic migraine meds I INITIALLY ASKED HIM FOR at the beginning of this 20-min conversation. Will try to push the prescription name brands of medications just to receive a kickback even at the expense of the patient. Shameful. I profusely THANKED him for doing the wow-so-difficult service of sending my prescription migraine medication so I can stop this pounding in my head and not have to jump through hoops because his nurse tech "didn't know" better. The patient is suffering and their lack of care and regard to save face and ego is shameful.

I was pleased to see they had numerous openings and I was able to schedule my appointment at a time convenient with my schedule. I was greeted with courtesy and professionalism upon arrival, and the check-in process was easy and quick. The clinical medical assistant was friendly and welcoming and best of all, the doctor I ended up seeing, Dr. Mena, was exceptional! She was communicative, attentive, and an excellent listener and made my visit feel as if it were "tailor-made". Overall, my interaction with those I encountered (front desk, medical assistants, the doctor, and laboratory techs) were positive. Best of all, I later found out that this clinic is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the community with passion, compassion and integrity, all of which were evident during my scheduled visit. So they do not get bathe'd , fed, or any assistance around the home. They do not check to see if the person shows up at the residence. They do not call the client and they do not come to the house and monitor what they're doing or speak to the person that they are supposed to be caring for. The person they send usually only does a quarter of what they're supposed to be doing, and the company is not aware because they do not care what is happening to the clients. Very abusive situation that they put the clients in not just one of the people they send out they all have free Rein's to do whatever they want under this company because there's no consequences. Horrible services and abusive regarding not care to the disabled elderly. not one experience .......several . if they have not send any one to a home in day or days or a week and there alone with no assistance classified as abuse . How do they even know if the client is not extremely sick or has passed away? They would never know why the company does not check on their clients that have services.

Went to "Dr" Pressley for an annual physical. I was told by insurance company this was the case. I then called Pressleys office who also confirmed same. Had the physical ... Everything was good. I was in excellent shape and healthiest I'd been in years. In the 2 years prior I dad undergone an ACL reconstruction and hernia ops. All had gone well and he asked me how the knee was as I'd had another clean up surgery a few months prior. He also said my bloodwork was great and I was very healthy. A few weeks later ... I received a bill. I called the office and was told that "seeing as though we had DISCUSSED the results of the Physical it became a chargeable visit." I asked why i was told this was a fully covered visit by ins company and the Drs office when I had called prior to the visit. I was told that if we had not DISCUSSED the results of the Physical it would not have been chargeable !!!! Are you kidding me ? ... What is the point of having a physical and bloodwork if you can't discuss the results ? I was extremely unhappy and after calling the ins co and dr was informed, TOUGH !! that's just the way it is. No one mentioned this upfront that you can have a physical so long as you don't find out or discuss the results. I had gone out of my way to pre-approve this AND I was in great health anyway. A few weeks later a family member was admitted to hospital after a serious complication. Dr Pressley ended up being the attending physician. I was informed that he was a caring Dr so I explained the situation. He showed absolutely no interest. Simply couldn't care less. This Dr is only interested in money. Avoid like the plague. His office will charge you for even being alive. I had done my due diligence and was still ripped off. After multiple calls to Dr and Ins. co. I got so stressed out it simply wasn't worth it. So I paid the bill and moved on. I'll leave it to Karma with unscrupulous people like this.
