I get inspired by these sort of body building gyms, as they are such a nice break from the CorePowers and Equinoxes of the world that I normally frequent... I'm basic af, I know. All the plates are iron, industrial fans cooling the place, huge mirrors everywhere, it's open 24 hours, machines you won't see anywhere else, and patrons are about their business and just EATING weights. I was probably the smallest person in here by 80 lbs, but they couldn't have been more welcoming. I paid a $20 day pass twice, and what I loved was they didn't try to sell me on joining the gym. I'm so sick of being upsold in literally every other area of my life. Something about handing that crispy $20 bill, signing a waiver I didn't read, and being able to have free reign of the gym was so refreshing. You go to a 24 Hour Fitness and get a day pass, it will take you 20 minutes of small talk and having to fake like you're considering joining before you can get to working out. 3 days later, my quads are STILL sore from one of those gnarly machines that I have never seen before, and will likely never see again. Damian had me try out the 65ft ropes on Friday and my arms were on fire. They have two great facilities convenient for in town or out. Rachel has been my trainer for two beauty pageants and I've won each time! I always feel like I'm walking into a warm environment when I walk into the gym. The people are friendly and sometimes you see some pretty famous faces of San Antonio! Couldn't ask for better personal training gym!!!!

It took about 15 minutes to warm up but wants it did it was good and HOT! I used some oil I brought and worked my facia blaster all over my body, all while listening to music. It was a great experience and I'm excited to try some other classes and I will for sure be doing the sauna again! I felt amazing when I left and feel like I sweated out a lot of toxins! With this test we were able to confirm a lot of symptoms I had been struggling with. This test basically allows your body to speak to you about what's going on inside and seeing the results on paper was a huge eye opener. We discovered I had aluminum toxicity among other few minerals out of whack and with the help of supplements, lifestyle changes and a few beauty product switches we've been able to get things under control. Ever session I have with CJ I've been able to learn more about my body and its status and she has made this all simpler to comprehend and easier to adjust to the life changes it was screaming for. My experience was more than 5star that's for sure and with over 20 years in and out of the fitness industry in a variety of areas, I HAVE NEVER been so in love with a franchise ! I was able to book easily on class pass app. This is what BOUTIQUE fitness is all about . (And what ppl will pay big boutique pricing $$ for) This location has 4 rooms , each it's own unique fitness & wellness "experience " All rooms have the best club lighting . Colors change during classes to create the vibe and ambiance. Each room has its own equipment . I appreciate all of the move your ass music & excellent sound systems . The instructor wore a microphone which makes for such a better class & did the whole workout making it easy to follow. The "sweat " room Fitness classes are here with heat & humidity & will challenge you to the core ! I left a puddle ! The "Sanctuary" room This space is large enough to be a stand alone infrared yoga studio. Complete with its own entry and drop space before entering , such a beautiful yoga room. You will find just about every kind of yoga class here. You can't hear any noise from any of the fitness classes happening which was fabulous . The " Spin" room Ohhhhhh how I love a great spin class ! They've got great bikes and everything you need for awesome , I'd recommend actually bringing cycle shoes for a better ride. The " Boxing " room Love love love the water bags & the air treadmills that don't plug in , you have to use your own body weight and core for these . They offer mat rentals / towel rentals / shower towel rentals etc. Plenty of amenities ! Lockers line the studio and are also in the bathrooms . Showers / vanities / filter water station / etc Fabulous community ! GREAT RETAIL - SHOP AWAY Pro tip : Arrive early ! & visit TERRA CAFE Nextdoor - there's access in the lobby of Tru Fusion as well . Same owner . Speaking of Owner , I talked with the Owner quite a bit and what lovely human that is ! Did I mention the location is wonderful, tucked in a large outdoor plaza with everything you could ever need. I have to give an update here on this gym. I ended up not renewing my membership as this gym went…read moredownhill fast. I think there has been new management and you can just feel that they are cheep or tying to cut costs. My first issue is that equipment is breaking and they are not keeping up with it. Why is every other bike broken in some way. Secondly, I mentioned this a few times, but why don't they replace the Clorox wipes so we can clean up our stuff. The AC broke for two weeks in the cycle room and I worked out in a HOT room. I thought I was going to pass out. Also, all the amazing instructions were leaving so not sure what is going on there. This gym is not cheep and the quality is not reflecting the price.

There is something…read moreabsolutely amazing about CrossFit 925 that makes it different from all the other Boxes I've been to. I started CrossFit in 2012 as a way to improve my fitness level. Being active duty at the time and just having a baby I needed to do something. I loved what Crossfit had to offer but was missing something. Fast forward to 2016 and I needed another Box home due to a move. I found CrossFit 925 searching for a Box near me and let me tell you, it was the best thing I could have done. The coaches, the owners and the athlete community here are amazing. Crossfit 925 feels like a home with a second family. Everyone is so inviting and so friendly. There has never been a time that I arrive and I haven't been greeted with a smile. And the coaches, well they care deeply about their athletes not only here in the BOx but outside as well. They take notice when you haven't shown up and they take the time time to text you and/or call you. They ensure that you're moving well and take the time to give that extra needed attention when they see you struggling. The classes here are small, with no more than 15 people per class. So it feels like your always getting a personal training session. What more could you ask for? And the owners Ben and Diana, they are the greatest. They are family-oriented and big on community. Their Box, Crossfit 925, is a safe place to bring your kids and just hang out. I'd definitely come to check it out. I promise you won't regret it. Evan, Ashley, Emma and Kevin are the best coaches around, I promise!!!
