I went here with very low expectations because it's a CrossFit gym, and each CrossFit gym id tried before I never truly felt welcome. Comal Active was a different story. Every member was so kind and friendly when I wasn't doing motions the best way they never made me feel judged they only made me realize they were truly caring and trying to make me feel like I could do it! They pushed my limits and didn't let me just give up, the owners, the trainers, and the clients there are all outstanding! If you are looking for a CrossFit gym, and have the money to spend it on that! for sure give Comal active a chance. I was extreme impressed!

The sauna workouts are challenging. The schedule is flexible which is great for me as I travel often. If you need a break from the sauna workouts, there's a section with free weights and barbells as well. By far, the 15 minute Hot Thunder is a killer! During the session, she created such a fun, welcoming atmosphere while still giving us a really effective workout. Katy the owner was wonderful and showed me around and all they have to offer their clients.. lots! Kickboxing, spin, barre, healthy juice drinks, and the sauna. I loved it! It took about 15 minutes to warm up but wants it did it was good and HOT! I used some oil I brought and worked my facia blaster all over my body, all while listening to music. It was a great experience and I'm excited to try some other classes and I will for sure be doing the sauna again! I felt amazing when I left and feel like I sweated out a lot of toxins! With this test we were able to confirm a lot of symptoms I had been struggling with. This test basically allows your body to speak to you about what's going on inside and seeing the results on paper was a huge eye opener. We discovered I had aluminum toxicity among other few minerals out of whack and with the help of supplements, lifestyle changes and a few beauty product switches we've been able to get things under control. Ever session I have with CJ I've been able to learn more about my body and its status and she has made this all simpler to comprehend and easier to adjust to the life changes it was screaming for. Walking in the door this place feels much different. The quality of instruction by the coaches is superb. Many injuries occur in CrossFit because of the lack of appropriate technique. The coaches at CrossFit Optimistic are not only making sure that everyone is getting a great work out but also making sure that personal form is adhered to in order to prevent injury.
