I asked if I could book an appt. they gave me one the next day. I asked if they needed my name or insurance information. The man told me "no, just your phone number". I thought that was weird, so I gave them my phone number and name. I arrived the following day for my appt and asked the girl at the front desk if I was suppose to sign in. She told me "yes". I asked if she wanted my insurance card and she said "oh, are you a new patient?" I said "yes". And she asked for my insurance and ID, then handed me new patient paperwork that appeared to have been copied way too many times because it was hard to read. I filled out the paperwork and handed it back to the receptionist. The doctor came out in a ball cap, polo shirt, shorts and dirty shoes with what appeared to be no socks. I was thrown back by how unprofessional this establishment was and how disheveled they doctor appeared. When I got in the room the doctor told me that he does not take any insurance and asked me what my copay was and told me he would just charge me my copay because he wanted to make it affordable to me. He then told me that he doesn't take x-rays and he could start cracking on my back if I wanted him to, then all of the sudden got excited about ultrasound. He brought me to another room where his 1980's looking ultrasound machine was located. He took his "bowl" that appears to be, what I believe was a bleach bottle that had the top cut off, put some stuff in it and went to warm it up. Then he did this ultrasound/shocking thing on my low back. Surprisingly it helped, but I felt fairly uncomfortable the entire time. When he was done he suggested I buy a "train ticket", which I believe is a 4 visit package. I asked to just pay my bill and since I'm so nice, I just scheduled a follow up appt. with every intention on cancelling it the following business day. When I asked how much the visit was, they charged me $40, instead of my "copay rate". I am extremely dissatisfied with their customer service, professionalism and cleanliness. I wish I was a little more verbal from the start. I should have walked out as soon as the receptionist didn't even ask for my name or knew that I was a new patient. That is my fault, but I most certainly will not return or recommend this office to anyone.

I've taken each of my three children there from birth and onward; he works with our entire family to keep us healthy and functioning properly. He's always available when I need him which is more than what I can say for other chiropractors in the area. I've never felt pressured to come regularly if I didn't feel it was necessary; I feel as though I'm the one in charge of my family's care and he's there to help in whatever way he can. Dr. Jaworski retired when I was in college and I was really sad to see her go. I would walk out of the office in agony, but once it subsided I would feel great for weeks. She was personable and also introduced me to some supplements that fixed a digestive problem that I was having. About five years ago, I was rear ended at a toll booth by a semi that didn't stop quick enough and injured my back, Dusty's eyes lit up when he heard I had an open auto claim . He took one look at me and said "your back is incredibly messed up I am going to need you to come in three times a week." When I was in High School, I mentioned to Jaworski a much more minor bump I took and she immediately x-rayed me at no additional charge, so I am suspicious of the thoroughness of his investigation. He did pull out some gimmicky sensor that he rolled over my back which told me something I didn't already know: I was probably in a lot of pain and discomfort. During those visits, I got the impression that he cared more about getting that insurance money than "healing" me because he'd spend five minutes and make marginal adjustments and I went back to college soon enough. Last summer, I was involved in a serious car accident that I should have not survived. I walked away mostly in-tact but in a whole lot of pain. The next day, I sucked it up and rode my bike a mile and a half to his practice since the car was obliterated. By the time I reached the office in the July sun, I was in excruciating pain. His receptionist informed me that they no longer accepted auto insurance injury claims, but I could pay up front and get reimbursed later. I told her that I didn't have the money to pay up front because she had been dishonest with me on the phone 20 minutes ago. I asked if I could bring the money later when my friend was out of work and could give me a ride. This was an outlandish proposition to her. It apparently made no difference that my mother and I had been going there for 12 years. Dusty was "unavailable" to discuss a possible solution and that's she interrupted , "Well, what do you care about, your money or your health?" I replied that I had neither so it was best for me to leave. I returned home and left him a voicemail explaining the situation and stating that I was very dissatisfied with his practice and if he valued the patronage of myself and my mother* that he should reply. He never returned my call. *She quit going a year earlier because a different receptionist ignored her when she was trying to schedule her next appointment. Why should I wait 10 months before writing this review? I was willing to let all of this go until I caught wind that he was discouraging parents to vaccinate their children. No credible doctor would encourage this dangerous behavior, which is why I refuse to refer to him as "Dr. Morton". At least we will know who to thank when there's a huge measles outbreak at Sunset Lake 10 years down the road.

I was not 15 minutes early for the appointment because the trees block the sign for the building and it's really hard to see the building. It's on a one way street, so it's not as if you can easily turn around and go back, and I had to drive around the block to get in the driveway. The actual check-in took 2 min and then I had to wait another 10 minutes, so why the rush?
