Our daughter is taking AP English Literature this coming semester. She is graduating this May. She is applying to colleges such as Agnes Scott, Smith, Mount Holyoke, Hampshire, Amherst, Connecticut College, Ursinius, Wheaton, Clark, Bennington, Bard, Dickinson, Muhlenberg, and Juniata for example. The dean of the high school is very supportive, and has shared with us she feels our daughter is well prepared for college. We trust the dean's assessment and are forever grateful For the exceptional education our daughter has received over the last two years.

The administrators are uncommunicative and don't actually talk to people - just send out emails, even when they are asked to please call numerous times. We had a little trouble figuring out how to cover the tuition and rather than work with me, call me or talk through options they dismissed me. My child has been crying every day of the new school year, emotionally distraught and has lost all confidence that had finally been gained. The leadership and board doesn't really care about the students just about the money and the mask they show the community. Unfortunately the reviews don't always tell about the people they kick to the curb.

These were not small increases either, we are talking $100-200 per month. We were semi-ok with this at first because we just had one child at the school. Having a new baby and wanting to put him into the daycare with his older brother, the new prices were simply too much - almost double a mortgage payment! Comped with other daycares in the area, Parker Chase was almost $900 more than a local/private daycare right down the road! They offer no flexibility when it comes to tuition, despite there being highly accredited competition that is cheaper in the area. Because it is owned by a corporation (Endeavor Schools), the staff is unable to do anything about it, and all decisions run through corporate. Endeavor is a business, and trust me, they treat it as such, and money is the name of the game. It is truly sad that a company that is built on caring about young children operates this way. Although the tuition is very hefty, it is not reflected in the teachers' pay, as many of them work 2nd jobs to make ends meet. I guess the execs at corporate get a big portion of tuition rather than using it to retain teachers and staff. Which bring me to another issue with this school - the turnover! This school was once touted for its teacher and staff tenure, and in the past few months, many teachers that had worked there for years left. My son's class was without a lead teacher more than once in the year and a half we were there. Communication is not a strong suit here, and unfortunately, I had to find out about this from either another teacher or another parent. For the amount we paid for our child to go here, you would think a simple email or announcement could be made regarding who is caring for and looking after our son. Overall, the building is nice - glass windows in all the classes, a nice outside playground. The place continually seemed understaffed, and the teachers seemed overwhelmed. All the teachers my son had were caring and sweet, I just wish they were paid better considering all of the money the parents pay to put their children there. With the most recent tuition increase, many families left to find alternate childcare. I know the staff had concerns that even the waitlisted families wouldn't want to pay the newly inflated prices ($2000/month for an infant!!). It's a real shame that corporate backed a lot of families with young children into a corner as most daycares have waitlists, especially for two kids. Not to mention the fact that it is very disruptive for a little kid to have to switch schools and have to start over again with new teachers, children, and a new environment. My best advice- look elsewhere. Many of the parents in my son's class agreed that in the last year it has gone downhill, unsure if it's management, corporate or what. Privately owned childcare facilities seem to be the way to go - they truly care about the families and want the best for your kids. The executives at Endeavor seem to care about themselves, not the children, families or teachers that grow the business. One more thing to note - if you have to turn left out of the parking lot onto Johnson Ferry after dropping off or getting your child, be prepared to sit and wait for ten minutes or risk your lives trying to cut across several lanes of traffic. There is no stoplight at this intersection even though they are in dire need of one.

The teachers and principle are attentive and seem to create their own bond with each individual child. I am excited to drop my child off because I know he is in great hands. Pictures are posted daily which warms my heart to see my child while I am away at work. Since starting the academy my child has become more independent and exhibits new skills daily. I am very happy to have Ivybrook be a part of my community!

They said they were going to enroll me in communication arts, they then bait and switched my mother saying they did not have room, put me in traditional and didn't do anything they promised for my IEP, then when I hit autistic burnout they put me in in school suspension. They never gave a date for moving me to communication arts. I was pulled out and the focus became on keeping me alive.

The best thing this center has going for it is the new Director, Stephanie. Unfortunately, our experience with Executive Director Simmie (who also happens to be the daughter of the owners) was consistently disappointing. When we raised concerns, we often felt dismissed, and communication was poor. Instead of feeling like our concerns were heard or addressed, we left many conversations feeling frustrated. Another ongoing frustration was there was rarely anyone available at the front of the building during morning drop-off. When we first started attending, there was someone at the desk but toward the end there was never administration present in the morning. The teachers were tucked away in their rooms but no one in the front of the building - raising safety concerns. If parents had a question, concern, or needed to communicate something important about their child, there often wasn't anyone there to speak with. It gave the impression that parent communication was simply not a priority. One of our concerns was that the primary afternoon teacher had difficulty communicating with us in English. We found this challenging, especially when discussing our son's day and developmental progress. When we raised this concern, we did not feel it was taken seriously by Simmie. In contrast, Stephanie acknowledged that this communication barrier was a significant issue and recognized the impact it had on families. We appreciated that she listened and understood why it mattered. We also repeatedly asked for support with potty training and were told it would be addressed, but we never saw a consistent plan implemented. The classroom itself appeared to have a limited selection of older toys, and we saw very little evidence of structured educational activities or curriculum. Our son frequently came home with reports of scratches, hitting, and other incidents involving classmates. While occasional incidents happen in any daycare, the frequency became concerning to us and ultimately contributed to our decision to leave. The difference since changing schools has been remarkable. In just two weeks at his new center, our son has been happier, more engaged, and thriving. Every family's experience may be different, but based on ours, I encourage parents to thoroughly explore all of their childcare options before making a decision.

I do not doubt she will carry these principles into her life when she graduates. , Academically, under the direction of the counselor, Ms. Hood, the seniors receive incredible scholarships. This year, the seniors got $3.4 million in scholarships, which averages $192K for each recipient. Last year, scholarships was $200K per recipient. Incredible.
