    Wow!!!
    Toni G.

Bought a Groupon for Ember. My 1st time here was amazing. The studio is absolutely beautiful. They offer a range of classes for every skill level. Hot sequence is my favorite. This is the first time I've been in a hot room and it didn't reek of b.o. The lighting, floors, decor, smells, ambiance all contribute to a fabulous peaceful experience. The parking is a bit aggravating, so come very early to find a decent spot. Their changing rooms and bathrooms are tastefully spa like. I look forward to many more classes here.

I haven't done yoga in forever. Honestly, I think the last time I did was in high school…read more But things have recently changed. I'm now pregnant and my doctor recommended easy-going activities to keep me in shape during the pregnancy. So no more flag football or contact sports for me! Parking - This location isn't visible from 92. There isn't a sign either. Parking is shared with other businesses, so depending on what time you go, parking could be sparse. I went to a 7pm class and there was plenty of parking when I arrived at 6:40pm. Atmosphere - Since I'm not a regular yoga-attendee, I can't really speak into whether this location has a "yoga" vibe. There is a little check-in area when you walk in. They also have literature about the classes they offer and different pricing tiers. In the lobby area there is two chairs to sit in and what appears to be two massage rooms. When you walk into the studio/yoga area, you know instantly that it's a calming space. Dimmed lights, matted floors and very soft music plays. Class - I participated in a Gentle Yoga class. According to their website, Gentle Yoga "is great for beginners and people that need to de-stress. Each class starts and ends with brief meditations. This class is optimal for people with limiting body conditions or injuries that are needing a slower paced class with clear instructions to calm your systems and bring balance to body, mind, and spirit. Gentle Yoga classes are recommended for expectant mothers, too." I brought my own mat, but after looking at the other members, I grabbed some additional supplies. To the right of the matted floor is a little nook with shelving that offers blocks, straps, blankets and pillows for people to use. I grabbed all of it. Not going to lie - I was pretty nervous. All these regular attendees were probably going to out-perform me. I was nervous I was going to let out a giant fart in a silent class room and be shamed for it. Thankfully, that didn't happen. Even if it did, these people were so nice they probably would have ignored it. The instructor, Shalan Hill, was great. She gave me an additional mat propped up on a pillow for me, since I can't be on my back very long. She walked us through everything. She guided the meditations, the breathing and the stretching/poses. She walked around and helped when needed. It was all very relaxing. I nearly fell asleep at the end. I walked out feeling more limber and definitely more relaxed. I can definitely see the benefits of continuing Gentle Yoga, especially since I'm pregnant. Overall, I will visit again and more than likely try their message services as well.

I've been attending this yoga studio for the past 4-5 months and I have really grown to love their…read moreclasses. The owners of the studio are massage therapists, who are also yoga instructors. The combination of their knowledge of the muscles & body with the yoga postures results in the most comprehensive yoga instruction I've ever received. The instructors usually ask the class if there are any special requests beforehand, so they can be sure to include poses that will help the students in whatever they may be feeling that day - be it emotional issues or soreness/pain in an area of their body. The instructors also take the time to explain how the different muscle groups are connected and WHY a specific pose is good for one part of the body and how everything is connected. They'll also ask questions of the students like "If you've been sitting for a while, what poses would be good to do to help your body restore balance?" I've never been to a studio with instructors with such a depth of knowledge, willing to share it with the students and then ensure that they are really absorbing the knowledge! It's fantastic! There are a mix of classes that will appeal to any goal you wish to work on. Cardio yoga on Mondays is a great workout with Annie (one of the owners). Gentle yoga with Shalan is great for all levels and really helps you re-set your mind when it can spin out of control via stress. Strengthen & tone yoga is wonderful for those who want to build strength and want a bit more strength challenge than a gentle class may give you. I'd urge anyone to sign up for at least a month of yoga and go frequently before giving up on the effort. Try different yoga studios to find one that works with your goals. I love The Posture Project because of the excellence in instruction, the smaller class sizes, the personal attention & coaching from the instructors and the wonderful community. It's really a hidden gem in Woodstock :)

The crown chakra connects us to our higher self, spirit, universal truth, God, source-which ever you resonate the most with. You will have more clarity along with more confidence. The practice is built on the practice of receiving loving kindness. It was lovely to start with warm cup of tea on a rainy day and just to calm down. I rested comfortably under a throw blanket, while Mildred gently massaged my scalp and shampooed my hair reminding me several times that I have to relax and let her do the treatment. She was very attentive to the detail and asked several times if the water temperature was comfortable or if the scalp massage was gentle enough. It was so relaxing that I must have dozed off for a minute. It's hard to explain, but I truly felt that my stress was lifted away and that I really had more clear thoughts afterwards. What a wonderful early birthday gift. This spa offers so many other natural healing methods, like Reiki, Thai Bodywork, Crystal Therapy, Sound Healing, Yoga, Sharing Circle and much more. It's located in a beautifully decorated house on Bells Ferry Rd, in Acworth. When you step inside you just get the feeling of tranquility, love, piece and serenity. I had a wonderful opportunity to talk to the owner, Massiel Ocampo, and to hear her mission statement, about her journey to helping others. I'm so thankful to my friend for giving me this gift to explore. Definitely, I want to attend some of the upcoming events and to introduce this hidden gem to my other friends.

From day one, the vibe in this place is different. The other students are genuinely warm and welcoming, not just tolerant of the new guy stumbling through his first chaturanga. But the instructors are the real reason people become regulars. This crew is equal parts knowledgeable, entertaining, and invested in the people in their classes. They actually know who you are, where you're at in your practice, and how to push you without losing you. That combination is rarer than it should be. And then there's the owner. She has built something special here -- a studio that the community genuinely loves, which is a direct reflection of how much she loves that community right back. Her classes fill up fast and for obvious reasons: this isn't incense and silence, it's deep stretches and power flows with Journey blasting and the whole room laughing and dripping sweat. It works, and it's fun. Operationally, this place punches above its weight too. Open every single day of the year, solid class sizes (no awkward three-person sessions like you'll find at other East Cobb studios), and a schedule that actually fits real life -- heated, non-heated, power, slow flow, and stretch options running from 6am to 6:15pm. If you're on the fence, grab one of their new client specials and give it a month. You'll leave feeling better physically, and you'll have found a community worth being part of.
