I along with many others are honestly extremely disappointed with this establishment recently as…read moreyou fail to provide basic necessities such as resistance bands or proper attachments for machines. We pay more for this gym than others near combined and shouldn't have to spend almost $20 extra for something that should be provided by a gym. On top of this nearly everyday there is something going on in base camp that should be hosted in one of the yoga rooms, base camp is very popular and should be accesible for ALL paying members when they want to use it.

I chose this gym because I thought the price would make it more of an adult setting and not a bunch…read moreof teens and screaming kids, but I was wrong. They cater to the kids and dues paying, working adults come secondary. They sell you on all the amenities like pool and spa, but fail to tell you that If you work a job like most adults you will never be able to use the pool or spa without screaming kids or groups of teens playing grab ass, the no diving or horseplay is never enforced. Think they set aside time for hardworking, paying adults to swim in peace, nope think again Mon-Fri 12pm to 7pm is family time and when they run their second business of paid swim lessons. That's right you pay your dues so they can charge others extra for swim lessons during peak after work hours. So as a working person you can not swim laps or avoid screaming kids jumping in the spa. Oh, but if you want to come in at the crack of dawn or right at closing time you can swim laps, pretty hard to do if you work a regular job. They also do a horrible job keeping kids off the machines which will be your only option since the pool is off limits while you are there. And if it's volleyball season they rent out the racquetball courts to high school teams to practice. Avoid at all costs, and it's an expensive one, if you want to workout or relax in peace as this is a afterschool hangout and they are all on their phones sitting on machines, even kids on phones in the spa watching videos and no one ever comes thru to police anybody.

Due to the driving distance being "only" 2.5 hours, I went to their current box once for a memorial WOD, in August, 2013. The facility is spacious and the equipment new. The layout is well-planned and efficient. There is only one restroom, but I never saw anyone waiting in line ;) They have a challenging 800m run course that goes uphill! Coaching is fantastic. I didn't work out under Ben too much back in their garage box, but he provided me with the support and positive critiques on my visit here, that I expect from CrossFit coaching. He's very motivational and yet cognizant of physical limitations (I have a bad shoulder). Lyndi is still as great a coach as always, too. She has a way of inspiring more effort, just when I think I can't do any more. After giving me the basics, she has continued to applaud my progress on Facebook - a friend as well as a coach. :) Community - as I said, I was only here once for a memorial WOD, but I met several people who were friendly and encouraging, cheering for each other (and me). I would imagine they are like that with their fellow athletes on a regular basis. I wish I had been able to go WOD with Lyndi and Ben more, but will always be thankful for their introduction to CrossFit that set me on a lifelong path of functional fitness. If you have never tried CrossFit, don't short yourself - go do it! Someone might look at me, a 58-year-old woman with a bad shoulder, and not think it advisable to do such extreme workouts. The key is in the coaching! The key is in how CrossFit can be scaled to give the best results for each individual, no matter your fitness level, age, or physical limitations. At CrossFit PFB, you will get healthier and do things you never imagined you could do.

Mike gave me a lot of information about my surgery and what to expect in terms of physical changes and challenges throughout the subsequent weeks of recovery. He and my other PT, Maureen were always encouraging and took the time to answer the many questions I had throughout the process. Thanks to their expertise, select exercises and encouragement, I have improved my knee strength, mobility and have the confidence that I needed to help me continue my healing process for months to come. I highly recommend SportsCare Physical Therapy in Sandy, to anyone who is looking for a team who is friendly, highly educated, and one who helps them to recover safely, regain function swiftly and feel confident throughout the process.

I was told I may not be able to fully straighten my elbow after what happened by my dr but Tori helped me get my full range of motion back. She quelled any concerns I had about my dogs training abilities. When I first met her my dog was 4 months old, had been only around other dogs and needed to be socialized in addition to learning the rules around the house. She has given my dog confidence, a wonderful foundation for rules and my dog loves and adores her just as much as she him I think! Cynthia has come to my home several times for in house training which is invaluable. This allows her to interact and provide solutions and relief for pet owners like me who are truly not sure which approach to take. She makes notes, gives suggestions, does follow up and is always happy to work with you and your family so everyone is on the same page. Cynthia is a kind, trustworthy, diligent and creative pet trainer. She is patient and understands how dogs think and react. She asses each situation, thinking of all possibilities of what could happen while out and about. Safety for your pet is always first. For instance, my dog was afraid of people and she took him everywhere with her, teaching him to not be afraid, understanding his personality and watching, seeing and knowing what he was capable of without intimidating him, only making him curious and comfortable. I would not take my dog anywhere else but to The Pet Geek. Thank You Cynthia!! Julie, West Linn, Oregon

Jo-e has done more for me than any health professional I've seen, combined…read more She's played the roles of therapist, health counselor and life coach for me all at the same time. I was in one of my cycles of depression when I saw someone recommend her in a facebook group. I've been seeing her for a year since then and my mental state and health have improved immensely. My deep depression has not come back since seeing her and when I feel myself inching back to that place I schedule a session with Jo-e and one hour later I feel like I've gotten a tune-up and more tools to use in my life. We've been working on my generalized anxiety and stress management over time. She's worked with me diligently on my health, which is what she proved was important to work on first. I had been exhausted to the point of tears for about 8-9 years with no answers on how to fix it from any doctors. One doctor told me "most women are tired". Anyway, after adding carefully selected vitamins and supplements to my schedule, changing some habits and new tools for dealing with stress and anxiety, I had relief for the first time and actually had energy. I stopped the vitamins suddenly at one point and the exhaustion came back. We've continued to work on my sinuses and digestion, as well. She knows her stuff. Jo-e also helped me establish a better foundation for my marriage and I think saved us from a lot of turbulence in the future by helping me find stability and a healthier way of expressing myself. My mom told me "I finally got back my daughter from before" and she was referring to my happy and positive self from before I was 13 years old (I'm 29 now, for reference)! Thank you for helping me be more "me", Jo-e.

5 Stars just isn't enough! Jo-e deserves more!…read more Before I met Jo-e, I seen about 3 or 4 therapist about depression, anxiety and family trauma. Those session were ok, but it was nothing like the sessions I had with Jo-e. When it comes to opening up about your personal life, it can be difficult to be vulnerable and trust someone with your life problems. From the first session I knew Jo-e was my go to personal health/life coach! I was finally comfortable opening up and expressing my personal mental health problems to someone. When it came to sessions, Jo-e always dug deep into my roots to see where exactly my problems sprouted from. Me, being a direct person, she always made sure to tell me what I NEEDED to hear not what I WANTED to hear. We started working on the food I ate and what I put into my body to fuel my soul. You wouldn't want to put cheap gas into a Ferrari would you? Exactly. I focused on eating cleaner which gave me the energy the get through my daily activities and not be so drained at the end of my day. The type of ENERGY I'm talking about it MENTAL ENERGY. I literally felt better MENTALLY, just by eating cleaner food. Food is one thing, but we also focused on being in the present. Jo-e guided me in practicing mediating, gratitude, and living my life at this very second. Not living in the past nor living in the future. She gave me the tools and exercises to work with that I would have never even thought about on my own. I started from having it all, but being miserable at the same time. I had an amazing career in the aerospace industry, but hated life. Great Job, benefits, medical insurance, stocks, everything you name it. My personal time was very limited and depression came along, so I reached out to Jo-e. I was single for the longest time, thinking love wasn't meant for me. I had a passion in Film/Photography, but was too scared to make the life changing risk. Jo-e was my quarterback to get through this depression. I practiced everything she taught me, ate most of what she recommended to me, and most of all practiced and accepted that I am enough. I'm enough for myself, others and the world. Today, I'm a freelance videographer, I live life on my own time, I having a beautiful girlfriend that I love, I eat cleaner, and my mental health is better than it has EVER, ever been before. Do I need to say more? Mic Drop....
