My wife surprised me by purchasing a massage for me here at 10 O'Clock Health and Wellness. I was slightly nervous because I recently had surgery a few weeks ago, to repair a broken bone from a fall. I wasn't sure if it would be a great idea to lay flat with my injury because I have been sleeping on my side ever since the accident. My appointment was with Cailen and I mentioned my concerns to her when I arrived. She was very friendly and welcoming. She explained that my wound would not be a huge obstacle in getting a massage. She politely explained that she would be able to support me laying flat, by providing support to that area of my body, with a folded towel or two. She reassured me that she could work around my injury. I was nervous and proceeded anyway. It ended up working out very well for me, thanks to Cailen's knowledge, professionalism, and comforting care. The massage I received was INCREDIBLE! The relaxing and hypnotic music gently playing in the background transported me to another time and place. The gentle, yet firm and physical massage I got was just what I needed! All of my problems, worries, anxieties, or any stress I was holding on to completely vanished and hasn't returned yet, thank goodness. I honestly feel like a different person after coming here. It's difficult to put into words how my experience on the table/bed was somehow transformative. I don't know how else to describe it. This place provided me with a healing experience I was not prepared for. The facility is very clean and serene. The feng shui of this joint is spectacular! Everything in the building is inspiring and works well together. The octopus motif is very peaceful and inviting. The colors used in the rooms for decoration go well together and are beautifully selected. The venue is set up perfectly for this type of service. It's quite impressive for a humble town in the U.S. I wish this place had a location in Los Angeles too. I would go as often as I could afford. I have been astonished at the type of therapies that she has implemented for my full body and mind healing. I have had so much trauma over the years she discovered upon my initial evaluation (which I didnt think had anything to do with my physical problems so I was actually offended with her depth of questions at first. I was a true skeptic) After all I was there for my body not my brain. I was in for severe pain to which MRI's showed some real reasons to have that pain so I didn't see how asking me about my trauma had anything to do with why my hips were off or why I could barely walk. Why being told I needed surgery had anything to do with my brain. But knowing I had CPTSD she choose to work with me, beginning in Somatic Emotional Realease therapy. I expected a massage as I and my Dr figured that would surely help. I also expected to work hard in exercises with it taking weeks or months to have any real results. No, I was truly amazed that after just one session my pain went from a 7 to a O-1 !! I was afraid to say that when she asked how my pain level was upon leaving that day. So again a few days later same thing and same results! The therapy, compassion, expertise ,cleanliness and professionalism from Jill and her staff is unmatched. I can now confidently say that I've found the best!! I had to jump on here to give praise to a person and place who has truley helped tranform my life and gave me real results toward healing.
