Most recently, this past year, they probably got some change in management, because the place has been amazing! I come here even for the boxing conditioning classes every week and never had a problem with the trainers. When it comes to injuries and fixing my sciatica, an issue I have had over the past five years, I recommend seeing Hope. UFC Fit definitely takes pride in hiring passionate and considerate trainers. Hope has done nothing but ensure that my priorities are met and always takes the time to hear me out and make me feel a lot better! As for their customer service, I always go to Chris for an issue, one of the operations manager of the gym. I have had concerns this past year in regards to the cleanliness of the establishment and he has always made sure my needs are met. And if anyone is interested in getting a membership, Chris is the man to go to! Love this gym and would never imagine myself switching!

They will alter membership prices to make you feel like you're getting a better deal, until you're getting charged hundreds in "equipment fees" and no one can explain to you what those are. Anyways besides that, the facility is not well kept. The bathrooms, I don't think are even looked at, which tells you a lot about management and staff. I would take my money elsewhere!

Their membership is high if you compare it to other places in the area that offer the same exact, and even better, classes - at the time I joined, I did not know the Wayne Community Center offered those, and I wish I had because they charge 50% less than Spa23 and have amazing trainers. In all honesty, I'm disappointed at how they handled my last billing. I had decided to set up personal training sessions with a trainer named Ricky, I trusted him and my mistake was not asking questions when we sat down to sign the contract, however, as an employee, he should've made sure I understood what I was signing - he did not explain what his rates were, nor how much I'd be billed for the month, so they billed me $212! I had already moved and canceled my membership with them, but they still billed my account. The person that reached out to me to explain the situation was nice, but no resolution was given - I'm now 45 minutes from Spa23, my money was never refunded, and credits for a different service can't be given. I know people who had gone to Spa23 and ended up leaving, both trainers and members, due to their dislike of it and how much of a "chain management" it had, but I truly didn't think I'd experience that firsthand.

Honestly, I like the environment here in the mornings. I go during the EARLY mornings because I know that teenagers using the same pass are going to come after school. I think it's a great thing since it encourages high schoolers to get more fit and spend less time doom scrolling. Personally, in-between sets I go on my phone and sometimes get weird looks, which is funny because whether it be because of the fact that I'm changing the song I'm listening to or checking my emails, there's always another machine of the one I'm using available. Considering the time I come at (as previously said, morning), there's also a chance that those occasional looks are just tired people spacing out during their workouts so I don't worry about it too much. I also saw someone filming the last time I went, but they had their phone positioned in a way that looked like they were trying to have themselves in the frame, and I haven't had any problems with people being on their phones recording others or anything (which was a slight fear of mine when I started working out). The front desk staff are also super nice. Only sad thing is that it feels like all the workers from last year have been swapped, but that's just a natural part of life. Another review also mentioned a key thing that I agree with, the equipment doesn't always look like other members wiped it down. My guess is just that people who go to the gym for the first time may not know they need to wipe the equipment (which may seem like common sense but I don't like judging), or that people sometimes just genuinely forget. I usually just wipe the occasional questionable equipment myself since there are a lot of stations, but the paper towels are also unnecessarily hard to rip "correctly." I think there just needs to be signs somewhere reminding people to clean what they use and that would probably help. Also, the bathrooms are really nice. My guy friends (aka all my gym friends) seem to say the male restroom is clean so , and I can attest for the female restroom being clean . And best of all, the mirrors in the bathroom have lights which make you literally feel like you're glowing.

We know that we are paying a premium price/dues and felt that the facilities and service were worth it. However, things have changed over the past few years. The bottom line is that we are still paying premium prices, but no longer getting premium service. We used to refer all of our friends to this club, but in good conscience we no longer refer. The machines are not well maintained, and when one is taken out of service it can take 4 to 6 weeks to repair. A number of the TV 's around the club have faulty feeds so pictures are intermittent. Many of the screens on elliptical and treadmills do not work. This situation has gone on for over a year, and management has been informed many times over these issues. The club has oversold its membership so that parking is a problem. Aurora classes are always waitlisted. I utilize your personal training services weekly and most recently, I spoke to the General manager, Dominick Delli Paoli, about a situation that has persisted for years. I am referring to classes that take place in the middle of the exercise floor. The instructor, Micah, blasts the music so loudly that I can't even hear my personal trainer and the sound is so loud that it is offensive. She lowers the music when she is giving her group instruction and then returns to the blasting music. I've spoken to management during the year and nothing has changed. Yesterday, I went to Dominick's office to request that he has the music lowered. I was shocked by his response. When I explained my request, he replied,"I will not do that!" He was rude and dismissive. I am stunned that the General Manager of an upscale club be so rude to his members. He sat at his desk and did nothing. I went back to my personal training very upset to be treated so poorly. We would like nothing more than to see this club return to its former excellence, but it's hard to believe that could happen with this current general manager. Respectfully,

They continue to admit members when they have filled the gym with pre-existing members. Often times I found myself waiting for 1 of 45 treadmills to be available. 6 of them would probably out of service with no warning sign on it. 2. As far as the sauna, be prepared to be joined by 15 men. 1 of which will be taking a business call. 3. You will see a 45lb dumbbell placed in a 15lbs dumbbell spot on the rack because people don't understand how to put things back. 4. Lastly, their locker room is disgusting. My friend got Plantar Warts walking once barefoot. Towels are everywhere, locker room attendants are hitting their vapes. End of story, It's not worth the monthly payment unless you will be going 5AM-7:30AM or 7:30PM-10PM due to crowdedness.
