So simple. Come in and in 30 minutes you'll leave with a total body workout. 30 minutes seemed…read moreshort at first, but after your first session you realize working hard for 30 min is just as effective as your usual 60 min gym routine. Plus, you can come whenever and use their cardio equipment. Hit the treadmill for 15min before/after your workout... there's your 60 min! The spot itself isn't large, but they have more than enough equipment to work every muscle and to keep things interesting; Kettle bells, free weighs, benches, cardio machines, rowers, battle ropes, ladder climber thingie, rope puller thingie... you get the point. It's all here. The trainers don't overwork you, they find your comfort level and then take you from there. I've had two different trainers and both are really friendly, even when you want to run out of the gym and buy a cheeseburger from anyone willing to sell it to you. Bonus points for eucalyptus towels and a water machine. You literally don't have to bring anything but yourself here. There are great deals to be found on the discount websites, but I would suggest calling up and asking about their deals instead. Most of the time they will honor whatever coupon is out there and you don't have to go through a third party middle man. Personal training... do it!

I was unable to do a single pull-up when I started. Today I can do 10 (on a good day :) ), but I did absolutely got in so much better shape. The coaches are great, very personable, knowledgeable and helpful. the classes are not too big and are always different (which makes it so much more interesting than a gym). I was terrified to start, but once you get over it and go for it, you will be glad you did, I know I am... They will scale it for you depending on your abilities. I still don't work on the max recommended weight, but who cares? I got so much better and I work with the coaches to match the perfect weight and workouts for me. Think about it this way, you come for an hour, work out like crazy and you leave. one hour, no more... which I think is the best. They have classes all day, until late at night, which differentiates them from all the other cross fits in the area and was why I started at Invasion and not the other places. Only later I understood how great the coaches and the place is. Oh, and they teach you how to eat better, which contributes to your workout abilities and your weight. The only "bad" thing is, I have to spend all this money on new clothes because of all the weight I lost... Try it, it will change the way you think about working out...

It was a decent class, but there was a lot of talking throughout, so I personally didn't find it that relaxing. I'm also new to yoga in general, but the instructor didn't help me at all when I had the wrong form or I didn't understand a term. It was a cute and clean studio, but the class was very average compared to the other studios I've been going to. I wish I could give 3.5, but I also don't think it was a 4.

I was always curious about goat yoga but only saw…read moreplaces all the way out east that had it, until I stumbled upon Buddha Barn which is so closeby to my house! With covid regulations in place, goat yoga was outdoors in the concrete area to the side of the building, on a beautiful September evening. There were some decorations/greenery and tents if anyone preferred shade. Kelly the owner and yoga teacher was inspiring, clear in her yoga instructions, and made sure everyone social distanced and understood mask regulations. I took the name of this place quite literally thinking it was a real barn and figured the goats would live on premises, but Karen graciously shared her farm animals with us by bringing them from out east for the event- she brought about 5 goats and a special guest Muriel a very social sweet alpaca who easily became my favorite and was so soft!! The yoga class itself was about 45 minutes and very gentle- great for beginners but also still a good workout for those experienced. Do not expect your typical peaceful experience when you're lying on your mat and suddenly a goat is looming over you haha but they are just saying hello.. also Bellmore avenue was pretty loud with cars due to rush hour but Kelly made jokes about it which I appreciated. Kelly and Karen left time at the end (well, the beginning too if you arrived early!) for petting time, selfies, and photo ops with the animals which was smart since they know that's why most of the crowd came. Something to note for all goat yoga (not just this location)- but the goats drop little poops and pee throughout the class so be alert with your belongings (luckily it was visible where it was since it was on concrete).. but it was cleaned up quickly and considerately. They have a fenced section that you can keep your belongings (which I did luckily so they wouldn't nibble on my bag) but some people needed their phones by their sides during the class so.. proceed at your own risk! Lol. I hope to be back next season when more outdoor events take place..I know some friends that are already interested in joining me. Thanks Kelly and Karen for a unique experience! :)

Alllllllright. So I'm posting this review almost an hour after taking my first trial class. Wow wow…read morewow. Delia was the instructor for this class and she was awesome. Super energetic and motivating. It was a really great class. I say this about two hours after the class ended because I'm now decompressing. I used to work out at least 3x/week, CrossFit including. I haven't worked out in two years and let me tell you, this body knew it didn't work out in two years. Upon entering the class I was like Okok let me take my place all the way in the back so I'm not in the immediate view of others obviously struggling in what I know will leave me in a puddle of sweat mess while attempting to look like I'm keeping up (spoiler alert, I in fact could not keep up, ha). It's ok guys, I knew I wouldn't be keeping up with the rest of the class on my first real day working out. But I tried. I tried and reached a moment where I was mentally like "listen, you are either gonna throw up which will be embarrassing or pass out which would be even more embarrassing!" I did neither, I know, thank god bc I would have walked out and just walked into traffic upon waking up had I passed out. Back to Delia! She walked around and kept motivating every person. The music was also amazing. Dalia was super clear with instructions and what the next pace would be. The atmosphere was very clean, very inviting and made you feel like you were in a specialty fitness studio, which you are. I have to say, I did not get a membership as yet bc immediately as I was done with the class I was thinking "no way I can keep up with this class". But now that I'm home, and I have this exercise high going on and I realized I did in fact complete this class, even if slower than others....I did it. I feel really good about myself and in time I know my stamina and overall health will increase if I took classes here. So yea...I recommend. I genuinely liked this class

As he was 7 (at the time, now 8,) we were apprehensive to sign up for a long term (10-12 months) contract ... whist there was a slight increase in the option of going month-by-month, master Seong was gracious and understanding and gave us the time that we needed, in order to make the right (long term) decision for our son. Master Seong is an exceptional teacher and mentor who is fantastic with the children. He not only teaches them the techniques of Tae Kwon Do but also instills important values such as self-respect, boundaries, and confidence. hat sets Master Seong apart from other Tae Kwon Do instructors is his thoughtfulness when it comes to parents and families. He understands that parents often have busy schedules and offers services such as "Parent's Night Out" and special camps for afternoons when school is not in session. What's even more impressive is that he opens these camps up to other kids not registered in his program, showing that he truly cares about the well-being of all children in the community. Champion's locations are, well, just about everywhere... however, it's the person which makes this spot so much better. We could have chosen to enroll our son at a Champions franchise closer to where we live, but the extra few minutes of travel is well worth it to have him work with a teacher and mentor like Master Seong. He is patient, kind, and supportive, and he makes learning Tae Kwon Do fun for the kids. Overall, I would highly recommend Master Seong's Tae Kwon Do School, "Champions" in Bellmore, to anyone looking for an exceptional teacher and mentor for their children. His dedication to his students and the community is unparalleled, and I am grateful for the positive impact he has had on my son. Thank you, Master Seong, for all that you do! (and to those of you looking for a program for your child - the advantages here and with this kind of class are endless - look into trying this place!)
