Bad costumer service and they were being racist, I went there yesterday to buy a salad, two white girls came at the same time as me, they took them first and while they were taking the white girls another man came, they took the man order and left me there waiting for like 15 minutes, after that they just started making online orders, and just left me there waiting for another 5-10 minutes, after a while of me waiting another white girl came but she was behind me, so that withe girl working there asked her manager if she could take or she should take me, so when she finally decide to take my order she was giving me attitude, I asked her for steak and the only gave me a little piece that she cut in million of little pieces‍‍I never had this problem at the Clifton park location, they're extremely rude and racist they only take white people first, I will not go back to this place! read more

These sort of quick service healthy food spots are starting to pop up and it is always good to have a rather healthy option among all the others. There are a lot of options here, including a BYO bowl option, which seemed intimidating so my dining partner and I opted for a predetermined menu item. You can choose from salads, rice bowls, broth bowls and plates. I went with the Tuna Poke Fire Warm Rice Bowl (say that 5 times fast) - it had a scoop of rice, sprouts, pickled jalapenos, cabbage and a very small scoop of tuna, It was then given a small squirt of miso dressing. Now looking at the menu again, I realize they did not put the fire sauce on, dang. I also got a small cup of coconut curry chicken soup and a fountain drink, since they have a lot of different options of teas and lemonades, I wanted to try a couple. My total was $18 and I just found that pricey for the size and portion of protein given. I had the soup first and I found it to be a small serving, thin and kinda bland, it also had no sustenance to it, it was mostly just a broth. You could skip this. I thought my bowl was pretty good, but I was wishing for more kick and more tuna. I wouldn't get the poke here again, I'll save that for a local Poke bar! The drink options were pretty great but I think they are just drink mixes. Don't miss the cayenne berry lemonade and the fig and vanilla tea. My friend wasn't thrilled about her salad, she had the Sriracha Ginger Tofu salad. She found it too spicy for her tastes (but she doesn't like much heat) and it just didn't have enough *stuff* in it. It was really just like, kale and tofu. I definitely preferred this spot to another one that is supposed to 'be good'. I came here with the wife after a long day of work, and also working on the deck. I was beat. But, I wanted something "healthy". I had one of their "create your own bowl" things, and the woman behind the counter was friendly and helped me figure the process out. The end result was a tasty bowl, though a couple of things stuck out at me. They are pretty stingy with the steak. I heard one of the employees complaining about how tough it was to cut. It didn't taste too tough, so I think his knife was dull and the cutting board was slipping. Or perhaps his skills, as he also had trouble ringing me up and messed up the tip I wanted to add. As we were leaving a manager was on the phone with someone trying to figure out how to open the cash register, as the same guy had also locked it up. The line backed up to nearly the door when we left. But, the food was good. I can make it cheaper at home, but coming here gave me some new ideas to try. read more

I normally go to the CoreLife in Clifton Park and have never had a poor experience. When we walked in at this location, there were only two people working. They both seemed like they were moving in slow motion. It took us 10-15 minutes to get our food and there were only two people in front of us. I normally don't mind waiting but there was no urgency from the workers. In addition, my rice was not completely cooked and the bathrooms were dirty/had no soap. read more

I got the Korean pulled pork bowl. It was disgusting. Swimming in oil, which then makes to lettuce soggy and whole thing was a mess. I also got a lemonade from their dispensers, I tasted a couple of them before I finally picked one and all the juices tasted off. I went to corelife when they first opened and loved it. I ordered the southwestern bowl today. I ordered it with the Work's minus the jalapeño, because I didn't know how it would taste with it, but I did order it with the ranch dressing. I must say it was one of the most tasty, fresh and absolutely spectacular salad bowls I've had in a long time! A tad expensive, but good. I've also had their soups and they also tasted well, I only wish the size was bigger for takeout. Well done core life! read more

So this is the 4th CoreLife Eatery in the Capital District, and they're all within 15 miles of each other. Have they saturated the market? Are they taking business away from each other? Time will tell. This one appears to be off to a good start. It was still almost completely full more than 30 minutes after traditional lunchtime hours. The staff is already working like a finely oiled (extra virgin, first press) machine. Kudos to managers whom I overheard complimenting new employees on the job they were doing. This particular CoreLife had a larger number of booths, including some smaller ones convenient for 2 people. They play really interesting music too. I also noticed some new fountain beverages. I swear by their iced tea, but that fig-infused cider looks really tempting. Pay attention when driving into the parking lot, especially if you're driving northward on Wolf Road. Don't be tempted to make the turn in before the building, that's actually the exit-only lane for the Ninety-Nine next door. The entrance and exit are on the north side of the building. It's not yet marked clearly, some signs would help. I mean, you don't want to let would-be customers miss the entrance, right? read more

It's fresh food and lots of veggies with an upbeat manager and some line workers with apparently no food knowledge and some that at least know the food products and can tell you your options. A useful nice option to know for a healthy meal when in the Wolf Road desert for good food mid-day. I just wanna write a review and say how disgusting this place is and the people that work here they don't care. They're literally sitting behind the counter on their cell phones while the place is. Disgusting disgusting garbage pails overflowing bathrooms are dirty floors are dirty tables are filthy. It's like a breading ground for germs in this place. Food was decent but looks like the stuff was sitting around for a while. The sweet potatoes are hard the brussels sprouts were so oily and looked like they were sitting around for a while. This place needs a full cleaning and everything thrown out and re-made over it and if I get sick, I know where I got it from. I will be sticking to the one in Clifton Park or the other ones that are much cleaner . As I was walking out of the bathroom, both the employees were sitting on the counter on their cell phone one over by the salad bar and the other one over by the drinks like there's so much to do in the store that there would be no need for them to be sitting on their phones. read more

Came in to this location today after trying the other ones in the area and I am yet again left disappointed. I had my daughter run in and we got two bowls off the menu, and when she returned I noticed both of the large bowls were filled only to about 3/4 of the way. The gap between the food and the lid was huge. We were charged for the full amount so I am upset that we didn't receive a full amount in either bowl. read more

I went here recently because I was craving a tuna bowl and this place was conveniently on my way. They weren't busy inside at all but had some to go orders being made. The person that helped me was friendly and patient in explaining if a build your own bowl or menu set was better for me. I went with a small build your own bowl. She didn't ask me a size and started to give me a large but having tried the large before its a little too much food. The ingredients were fresh and it came with a drink or soup. It was a little pricey imo at $11 something so I'm not sure I would do this very often but it hit the spot. read more

I wish I could give it three and a half stars. The food is tasty enough for the most part but I don't consider it a good value. We paid $39 for 2 plates, 1 bowl and 1 fountain drink. I had a plate with Ahi tuna, a scoop of mashed potatoes and a scoop of roasted sweet potatoes. One of my companions had a plate with steak, sweet potatoes and Brussel sprouts. The protein portion on both of our plates was small. The steak was kind of tough,almost jerky like, and strongly seasoned. The sweet potatoes were nice but again a small amount. The mashed potatoes were very good with a buttery taste. The sprouts were tasty but tiny and they tasted sugar coated. Our other companion ordered the spicy Thai Chicken bowl. It was a better value than the most plates in my opinion but it was still mostly cabbage with only a little chicken. The rice noodles, scallions and red peppers and sauce gave it a very pleasing flavor. My fig, vanilla, balsamic vinegar fountain drink was delicious. The blasting music makes for an annoying time if you actually want to talk to your dining companions. Overall it's ok but I've found a much better value and atmosphere at local bowl places. read more

Love this place! I got a bowl with kale, quinoa, edamame, carrots, green onion, avocado, tofu, and cashew dressing. So tasty and filling. As a registered dietitian I love all the healthy options and would highly recommend! Place was clean and organized. Staff were friendly and all wearing masks. Stopped in to grab a salad. They were running a special with a small salad and two sides so I figured, why not? The drink was green tea. Assuming it comes in a pre-mix, you can't really mess that up. The salad: Kale Cesar Chicken. It was missing the parmesan crisp, and in regards to the chicken; after my buddy looked at the salad and asked what I got-to which I informed him it was a Chicken Cesar-he made a weird face and asked, "that's not steak?" Yes, dear reader, the chicken was so overcooked and blackened, that he thought it was steak. And it tasted as blackened and dry as it looked. The side was okay... a bit dry, but salvageable. The only saving grace was the employee who pointed out it was cheaper to get the special rather than just the salad. Kudos to her. Honestly, charging almost $10 for a, in my opinion, sub-par (and really small portion-size-to-price-ratio); I will be avoiding Core Life for the foreseeable future. Four stars for the employee. So while the food is very good I terms of being healthy for a fast food type place, the workers are miserable! No one says hello as you approach the counter, they stare at you until you request something. Then, while they are putting together your food they look as though they would rather roll around on broken glass than be working. The kicker was when I asked for a side of brussel sprouts and they gave me a container half filled and looked as though they were from weeks ago. They were super dry and tasteless. I designed a salad based on the foods I can eat (limited). The salad was absolutely delicious! The menu consisted of a wide variety of ingredients which were bite-sized and fresh...I loved the spicy chicken. Salad dressing was delicious-just the right amount tossed in the bowl. I ate here with my friend last week and it was good. I had a make your own bowl with kale, bone broth and a variety of vegetables and chicken. It would be good if the staff knew which were the spicy vegetables, so you could plan accordingly which items to pick. A Young woman helped me at first, but she didn't have much patience. She switched me to a gentleman who was very Helpful and took pleasure in explaining the different items. I will be going back soon. Have you considered staying open till 9 PM during the summer months? There are a lot of neighborhood park outdoor concerts which ends at 8 PM.
