I got the Korean pulled pork bowl. It was disgusting. Swimming in oil, which then makes to lettuce soggy and whole thing was a mess. I also got a lemonade from their dispensers, I tasted a couple of them before I finally picked one and all the juices tasted off. I went to corelife when they first opened and loved it. It was clean and I never had a problem with the food. It's disappointing.

Customize your salad or grain bowl in a cafeteria line, fast food setting in an airy new space. It's fresh food and lots of veggies with an upbeat manager and some line workers with apparently no food knowledge and some that at least know the food products and can tell you your options. A useful nice option to know for a healthy meal when in the Wolf Road desert for good food mid-day. A newfangled "fast casual healthy-ish" food establishment with thumping music that would make gym rats feel at home. I don't like that for a restaurant. I guess: eat and run, literally.

Came in to this location today after trying the other ones in the area and I am yet again left disappointed. I had my daughter run in and we got two bowls off the menu, and when she returned I noticed both of the large bowls were filled only to about 3/4 of the way. The gap between the food and the lid was huge. We were charged for the full amount so I am upset that we didn't receive a full amount in either bowl.

I went here recently because I was craving a tuna bowl and this place was conveniently on my way. They weren't busy inside at all but had some to go orders being made. The person that helped me was friendly and patient in explaining if a build your own bowl or menu set was better for me. I went with a small build your own bowl. She didn't ask me a size and started to give me a large but having tried the large before its a little too much food. The ingredients were fresh and it came with a drink or soup. It was a little pricey imo at $11 something so I'm not sure I would do this very often but it hit the spot.

I wish I could give it three and a half stars. The food is tasty enough for the most part but I don't consider it a good value. We paid $39 for 2 plates, 1 bowl and 1 fountain drink. I had a plate with Ahi tuna, a scoop of mashed potatoes and a scoop of roasted sweet potatoes. One of my companions had a plate with steak, sweet potatoes and Brussel sprouts. The protein portion on both of our plates was small. The steak was kind of tough, almost jerky like, and strongly seasoned. The sweet potatoes were nice but again a small amount. The mashed potatoes were very good with a buttery taste. The sprouts were tasty but tiny and they tasted sugar coated. Our other companion ordered the spicy Thai Chicken bowl. It was a better value than the most plates in my opinion but it was still mostly cabbage with only a little chicken. The rice noodles, scallions and red peppers and sauce gave it a very pleasing flavor. My fig, vanilla, balsamic vinegar fountain drink was delicious. The blasting music makes for an annoying time if you actually want to talk to your dining companions. Overall it's ok but I've found a much better value and atmosphere at local bowl places.

The Hostess was SUPER friendly and she never stopped working - cleaning tables and checking with guests to be sure everything was satisfactory. The waiter, Gregg, was very attentive and friendly. I've been to Innovo Kitchen in Latham several times over the years and I've enjoyed it every time. They have a unique menu that changes periodically, but I always find something that catches my eye. The interior has an industrial feel which I like, with a lot of exposed brick. The tables are made from old bowling lane wood, which is a really cool touch. When you walk in there is also a bowling pin displayed in a glass case. I remember there being a bowling alley somewhere in that plaza when I was a kid, so it seems likely the building has some history tied to that. The tables are also nice and large, which makes the dining experience more comfortable. Tonight I ordered the Monte Cristo burger which is described as battered Buckley's Bread sourdough, a 6 oz special grind burger, Taylor pork roll, Swiss, and Twin Leaf Farms maple aioli. It was quite tasty and I really enjoyed the hint of maple syrup flavor on the burger. The crinkle cut fries that came with it were also very good. Another person in our party ordered the White Chicken Parmesan, described as a crisp chicken cutlet topped with ricotta and garlic spinach and fresh mozzarella, with garlic parmesan cream and lumache pasta. They said it was delicious. Someone else had the Crispy Skin Salmon and enjoyed that as well. A child at our table ordered macaroni with red sauce. The portion was surprisingly large and they liked it, which is impressive because they are particularly finicky. For dessert we ordered something we've had here several times before, the peanut butter mud pie. It's basically ice cream in pie form with an Oreo cookie crust and chocolate fudge. It's very tasty and also a generous portion. At the end of your meal they also offer everyone at the table a tasty piece of gourmet chocolate. One thing that really stood out tonight was the attentiveness of the management. Two different managers stopped by our table at different times to check and make sure everything was good. I recognized one of them because I've seen him there before and he always seems to make a point of checking in with guests. The other person had seated us so I initially thought she was the hostess, but after she stopped by during the meal I asked if she was a manager and she confirmed that she was. I mentioned that I was impressed that two different managers had checked on us, and that every time I've dined there a manager has stopped by to make sure everything was good. I thanked her and told her it was appreciated. During the summer and fall they also have a very nice patio area for outdoor dining. On cooler nights they have heaters and a fireplace which makes it a great place to sit outside. I will definitely return here again in the future. 5 stars

Enjoyed with accolades. Brown Rice for all... Service was excellent; it was experienced, skillfull, and courteous. Kudos! Hu's is in a class by itself for gourmet Chinese cuisine dining. What a GEM! TV news broadcast dire predictions during every 24 hour news cycle. So of course, cooking and acquiring food while binging movies and TV shows on cable became the obvious means by which to deflect attention from the rising COVID body counts world-wide and dire predictions. High anxiety was the order of the day, and tippling, cooking, take outs and eating became a reliable means to blunt it. Between TV binging we continued our years long, fanatical search for Xiao Long Bao -- or anything Asian to cook of takeaway and eat TV-side. HU's is a small Chinese joint in Albany, near where we received our Covid vaccines, and a good 90 minute drive from our home. There was nothing that vaguely resembled a good Shanghainese take out joint any closer - so when we didn't care to cook Asian, we made the trip to Albany for takeaway. As it turns out, HU's makes some authentic and delicious soup dumplings, and other dim sum like shrimp har gow, perfectly seasoned sweet/sour soup and some very tasty Scallion pancakes and Peking style duck. It was well worth the 3 hour round trip to take away -- or even eat in. The restaurant enforced social distancing making the eat in experience feel safe and authentic. I dunno. It's been a while since our HU's excursions in 2021, but I think in hindsight the food is truly a solid 4 stars good. I can't get to 5 stars because I could not rate the service due to pandemic restrictions in restaurants. Service was diminished due to social distancing during Covid times - but the restaurant was sparkly clean everywhere we looked. I imagine the same is still true today. So if you find yourself craving Shanghainese when in Albany, NY - HU's is a solid choice. The fact that their food selection and quality was high during the worst pandemic in the last 100 years speaks volumes about HU's food cred. Top tip: Even though the dumpling skins are bit on the thick side, stick with XLB and dim sum. They are NY Chinatown worthy. The usual Cantonese dishes like egg foo young, chow fun and ribs are serviceable too.

The restaurant is clean and bright and comfortable. You can order either from the kiosk at the side, or at the counter - and they're really helpful at the counter. I crafted a bowl with grilled chicken. I was expecting the chicken to have a slightly stronger flavor, but all the extra items in the bowl plus the sauces I requested really enhanced the flavor. I'm a big fan of their hummus, and I'm almost addicted to their house white sauce, which has just the right amount of garlic in it. Their cucumber mint iced tea also has a great flavor, though I do find it a bit sweet. Be aware that it might take a few minutes for your order to be ready. Bowls with cooked ingredients will take slightly longer. Plus, they are already doing a huge take-out business, so you can't judge only by the number of customers sitting in the restaurant. This is a wonderful addition to the area, and I look forward to many more meals here.
