I've seen this place for a couple of weeks and wanted to try it out. Upon entering, the atmosphere is pretty nice and the place looks great. I could do with a little less dance music though. It gives the place an upscale hair salon feel or that a fashion show is about to start at any moment. The way to order isn't necessarily that clear and it was a little overwhelming for my first time trying to figure it out with a line forming. The staff kind of recognized my "deer in the headlights" look and explained the menu to me. I went with a power plate with a grain base, vegetable medley, and chicken. Overall, the food was very good. The vegetable medley must have been prepared by the God's themselves!! The chicken was a little dry for my taste. I found myself having to swallow it down with my drink a few times. Also, Towards the end of my meal, I found two long, light colored hairs in my food and that certainly brings the rating down. I definitely gagged a little bit when I found them and wondered how many, if any, I had accidentally eaten. I missed out on the Yelp Elite Event, since I'm not in Murfreesboro very often, but one night I was actually in the area, so I stopped in for dinner to go. After going back and forth between several different options in my head, I ended up choosing the Spicy Chicken Ancient Grains bowl. I swapped out the beets for tomatoes, and it seems like any and all substitutions are welcomed. Based on the name, I was expecting the bowl to have more grains with the kale, veggies and proteins on top, but it was actually a kale salad with a little bit of quinoa mixed in. I had to ask the guy tossing my bowl if my order was right, and he assured me it was. No big deal - I probably needed to eat more greens anyway. I chose the miso ginger dressing, and the bowl was tossed right in front of me before being put in the bowl. The menu suggests a dressing, but you can choose any dressing you want. Once I got home I was very delighted by my kale salad! Usually I'm not a huge fan of kale salad because I think it can be tough and chewy. But they chop up the kale small enough, and I think tossing in the bowl helps soften the leaves a bit too. The dressing had a nice zing from the ginger but was still very flavorful, and I loved the extra kick from the spicy chicken. I also ordered a honey ginger lemonade and thoroughly enjoyed that too. The drink was definitely more on the tart side, so if you like sweet lemonade I would skip it. I didn't see it on the menu board in the store, but online says you can build your own bowl. Next time I go back, I want to try to do that instead. It was pretty busy the last time I went, and I didn't want to overwhelm myself with choices during my first visit. There's a real modern touch to this place. You walk up to the counter and there's countless yummy foods you can see! They look super fresh, almost like a painting. The staff is super nice and ask you several questions to make sure you get your food how you want it. You can buy a bottled drink but there's a ton of "fountain" drinks to choose from. I have literally eaten here 6 times this week, I'm obsessed. I haven't gotten a bad meal even once and i've tried wildly different dishes every time. the Juice Bar is delicious and you can combine them to create whatever sort you like. Tried Corelife Eatery for lunch to go and it was very good. I got the Spicy Thai Chicken and Noodle bowl, the small size. It was very filling and not super spicy. I also got the honey and turmeric lemonade which was different. I spent more than I anticipated but for the quality of ingredients and having it for 2 meals because it was so filling it did not bother me. My family regularly stops in Murfreesboro on road trips, so believe you me, I was stoked with I learned CoreLife Eatery was just off I-24. My young kids aren't quite up for this culinary adventure, but knowing we were in for a few days of stick-to-your-ribs food, I talked my husband into letting me pick it up to go (what's one more stop?!). Oh how I love the spicy chicken and grain bowl- extra broccoli and sriracha, no beets. It's the stuff dreams are made of. I knocked off a star because neither staff member assembling my bowl knew quite what regularly goes on it, making me worried I'd get something outside my norm (not good for a road trip to go order). For fellow gluten free followers, this is a great place! Everything on the menu was gluten free and had plenty of options for meat eaters and vegans alike, which I love since I am vegan and my fiance is not. I had the spicy ginger tofu bowl and my fiance had the pick your own options with the steak, broccolini and mashed potatoes. Everything was very clean and healthy, which I really appreciated! Their drinks were also very natural and delicious. I was impressed with the wide array of food and how fresh everything looked. The only issues I had were the servers didn't seem to know which soups were vegan or not. Also, the meat was a little more rare than we would have liked. Quite possibly the best clean food I've ever eaten‼. I drive 30-40 minutes just to eat there at least once a month. Wish there was one in Spring Hill or Franklin. Core Life food is good, there is no question about that. And you pay a premium price for it. Also understood. What is not acceptable with this model is when they are willing to give you less than premium but charge you for it anyway when they are out of something, like drink cups with lids for to go orders. Walking in, it feels similar to chipotle's layout but instead of Mexican, they take a whole food approach offering salads, grain bowls, broth bowls, and power bowls. I got food here today for only the second time and the girl who took my order was extremely rude to me after i stood in line forever not feeling well. I had asked her if the ranch dressing was gluten free and with a very smart ass voice she says "everything is gluten free " and laughed angrily .. i just asked out of habit.. then i asked her to add cheese to my salad and she also in a very sarcastic smart ass type of voice said " thats gonna be extra" then when i got home with my food which is literally only 3 mins down the road also off medical center my chicken was dry and my potatoes were hard basically the food was enedible so i threw it away and had eggs for dinner. First time here and we really enjoyed the food. I got the spicy chicken Thai noodle- my only complaint is there was not enough noodles, but it's a good strategy to keep the calories down. We also had the coconut curry bowl- he said he was happy except next time he would double the chicken. The design of the restaurant is inherently loud, with us having to ask the service folks to repeat everything they asked us, remember, first-timers. We went on Sunday morning at noon, wasn't crowded but one child taking loud carried throughout the restaurant. I could understand why some folks ate outside in the heat. After we finished lunch they lowered the music and everything got pretty tolerable, even the clanking of the dishes.
