Fortunately I gave Mang'oh a shot about a year ago and have been coming regularly ever since. It's a small, intimate studio that rarely feels crowded. Most teachers are fantastic, each with a different style, so I'd recommend attending several classes until you discover those that mesh well with your yoga needs. I am a huge fan of Justin's class, which completely changed the way I practice yoga. Other outstanding teachers include Djuna, Josh, Marissa, Sarah G., Erica, etc. The monthly membership is well worth it if you're planning to practice at least 2x/week. I love that they provide jade mats free of charge for members - 1 less thing to carry on Metro-North! Thank you mang'oh!!

On top of this, they sent this email to peddle vitamins! And it's chock full of spelling errors (who spells hygiene as higiene?!). What a joke. They issued an apology email (over 12 hours later), after what I only assume was a barrage of outrage from people who were kept on their mailing lists after taking a single class. To make matters worse, there is a link in their "apology" email to visit their website?! Get out of here. Please get re-educated.

On top of that, when I literally spilled my water on the floor and asked for a towel to clean it up, they told me they would have to charge me for it. It is incredibly petty and transactional. To top it off, when I brought up a concern, the owner/manager sent a highly defensive email. Take your money to a studio that actually values its members.

In addition, they also have hot Pilates. That kicks your butt, but it feels amazing afterwards. Staff is great, they are very welcoming and supportive of everyone's journey in there well-being. The owner remembers everyone's names and has a very positive energy. The only downside is that they sell water bottles instead of offering a water cooler for water. Granted that New York tap water is very drinkable, I didn't really like that they offered water for sale, especially since it was in 16 oz plastic bottles. However, they sold coconut water which a lot of people purchased.
