very clean, nice and friendly staffs, and the yoga is just awesome! my friends wanted to check this place out and ask me to join them. there was 5 of us and all of us enjoyed our workout thoroughly. we thought it was intense at first and the heat make everything seems harder. but our second time wasnt that hard. in fact, it was pretty easy to follow and it gets easier the more we come. we feel more energetic and better. the staffs are definitely helpful and encouraging. the inside is very clean and tidy. make sure to come at least 15mins early if you come in the hour of 5-7pm. it gets really crowded to the extent you may have to share your spot with someone else. other than that, i really like this place. way to help you coping with stresses and make you feel better. read more

I've gone to almost all the CPY locations in Orange County and this location is by far, my favorite. Here are a couple of things about CPY locations in general. All locations are consistent in terms of the cleanliness, layout of the studio, and class structure. I have found that the instructors are all consistently solid instructors who know what they're doing and are passionate about teaching yoga. The Tustin location has super friendly and caring staff who truly are looking to push you and your yoga practice to the next level. They care about the individual's well being first and foremost. They all are truly inspirational and are looking to bring out the best in each individual. Love them!!!! Some of my favorite instructors are Maggie (detailed cues and adjustments with super flow), Stacy (grounding and inspirational), David (energetic and kray kray flow-love it), Vinny (another kray kray enthusiastic instructor with fantastic adjustments and flow), Kevin (amazing cues and very patient/caring), Katynna (lovely flows and super alignment focus) and Meghann (inspirational and one of the best cues ever-she tells you what you will feel and seconds later, I'm feeling it). If I lived closer, I would go everyday! All the instructors and classes are great, especially David's sculpt, great energy. Anh is a newer teacher but i will definitely be going to her classes often...very friendly, encouraging, fun and challenging for 1.5 class! Her themes and playlists are awesome too!! Especially if they are representing the front office of the business because they have no clue what customer service is. I absolutely love CorePower Yoga! I have been going since November of last year, and am so glad that I found this studio. I have taken classes both in the morning and in the afternoon, and have found that the morning is definitely less busy. All of the instructors are well trained, are extremely friendly, and are really interested in helping you better your yoga practice. The place is really close to my place and it's really clean. Showers, lockers, and bathrooms were always nice and clean. There are two spacious studios and I did their one week free trial to see if I would like it. The type of yoga just wasn't for me. The heat was a little too much and I felt like I was sweating not because I was exerting myself, but due to the heat. I don't mind heated yoga places, but not where the heat just hits you when you walk in. I tried pretty much all their classes and I think they follow a certain structure. The instructors were nice and some gave adjustments to make sure you were doing the poses right. Try it out and see if this type of yoga is for you. I think I would've liked it more if the heat wasn't so overwhelming. read more

I love all the variety of classes that Tustin studio offers and wonderful group of teachers there. I would like to see more restore classes in the evening since they are mostly in the mid morning and it's hard to make it due to work conflicts. I am obsessed with this place! They have numerous locations and so many classes to try. I'm new to yoga and started with intro 1 and i love it. I'll be jumping to the next one which is heated... I feel like you can continue to challenge yourself. The instructors are awesome and make the experience even more enjoyable. They have a cute boutique in the lobby. They sell water and have towels if you forget yours. They also have showers to freshen up before you leave. They also provide lockers, just remember to bring a lock. I purchased their groupon for one month of unlimited classes for $59. i'm taking as many as i can. And i can guarantee i'll be coming here even after the groupon expires. I was craving a challenge for my yoga work outs and found CPY. I really enjoyed the Core Power Yoga Sculpt class it was exactly what I was looking for, heated power yoga with weights. This class incorporated all of the traditional yoga moves with weights and it felt great to do all of the exercises. The room was nice and big and there was enough space for all of the students and I didn't feel cramped. The studio is really clean and the locker rooms are big and provide large lockers and showers. All of the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The first week free for new students is a great deal because you can go as many times as you want to any CPY studio and check out all of the classes. I really like how there is a yoga class about every hour and can work with about everybody's schedule. read more

A very nice studio. Clean, lockers, showers, soap, shampoo etc all provided for free. We took class w Matt, he was good, thorough and really explained the different asanas. There was a diverse level of students in class, Matt made class doable for all the levels and giving options from beginners to more advanced. I like heated yoga but this class didnt seem heated. I practice heated yoga almost daily so I could understand if it was cooler due to the diverse class. I used the free week pass for new students so it was worth it. Maybe the evening classes, when the hardcore yogis come, is more heated and challenging. Ill try that next time Im in town. I've been coming to this studio for 2 years. I originally bought a groupon and it got me hooked. The instructors are all very kind and have positive energy. I always leave feeling relaxed and less stressed than when I arrived. I have tried yoga at other studios and the cookie cutter classes at places like LA Fitness and 24 Hour and always left unfulfilled and displeased with my workout. CPY is a great place to practice yoga and I have found all of the staff welcoming and encouraging. It makes it an enjoyable place to practice :) Unlike (Geoffrey), I appreciate the late policy. I find it very distracting, rude, and selfish that people think its their right to arrive late to class and disrupt the countless other (busy) individuals that managed to get there on time. read more

I love this place. I've been to several other studios and this by far is the best. Clean, great classes and friendly instructors. Whitney is AMAZING!!! Also, amber has helped me on several occasions, I've messed up my account and each time she has helped me and acted like it was no problem (even though I know I caused a ton of work for her.) the prices are a little higher than other studios, but you can definitely tell why. I thought Yoga was supposed to relieve stress..not add to it. My wife has been a member for a few years and had an occasional complaint that took a new turn today. Apparently Corepower has a policy of physically locking a class once the start time is reached and if you are 1 minute late...access denied. It happened today when a condescending front desk clerk acted like some kind of "Fembot" as my wife arrived 3 mins. late and was told repeatedly "sorry, class is closed, have a nice day" with this strange gaze from the representative. I was so irked that I called "corporate" only to have their representative lecture me (a former cop) on how they lock each class for the safety of each student. I was baffled and asked why yoga students needed to be "locked-down" and her response was "you're a cop..so you should understand". I can understand the desire to keep a serene environment once class begins but that apparently isn't the reason. It's for safety. Help me here ladies and gentlemen...what is the safety issue that requires a class to be locked so someone from the outside could not enter at any point? Is is too difficult to allow a 5 minute grace period for late arrivals or is the real reason your controlling the class size (and flexing a bit with your big corporate brand). I can't believe the classroom is so small that a door opening slightly would knock someone out of their position? I don't think so or I would not have had the "you should know since you were a cop" response. Well Corepower....given the way you've treated my wife and been insensitive to a working-woman's busy life pushed her to cancel her membership.The rep. on the phone didn't seem to care one way or the other..not surprised. read more

CP is fantastic!!! Yes, it's hot and yes, it's HARD, but the class choices are the best and instructors are top notch. You can tell the teachers love yoga and they all encourage being creative and having fun with the practice of yoga. They offer a lot of help and corrections and are very good about providing modifications. Great for newbies and veterans. read more

I'm not an exercise person. I actually hate to exercise. Enter CorePower Yoga. Its the perfect blend of detoxification, stretching, pushing, and re-energizing that makes me WANT to come back for more. This is the only exercise I actually crave and look forward to. The heat makes you sweat, sweat so much that you can barely keep your eyes open from sweat dripping from your brow. However, when you enter the room and you "connect" with your mat, the entire world of stress and worry drift away. It is incredibly de-stressing. It is incredibly rejuvenating. Hot yoga does wonders for your body and mind. They do a vinyasa flow, centered around breathing. I've been to almost all the classes (Hot Power Fusion, Core Power 1, 1.5, 2, YogaSculpt, Hot Yoga, and Restorative Yoga) and use their apple app to look at their daily schedules. This center is beautiful and spotless. This is as good as it gets. read more

I love CPY !! At first I was hesitant because I usually cant handle heat when working out, but my friend convinced me with this 2 weeks unlimited pass and was hooked. Just my type of yoga style (vinyasa). I take kickboxing so it is a nice balance to stretch my muscles out while having a work out. i would highly recommend. Ive been to the Irvine Jamboree and Encino location so far as well and they are all worth going to as all the instructors are pretty legit. read more
