The instructors are all wonderful, but I especially have to mention Cecilia. I've been practicing for over 20 years, and she still managed to give me thoughtful corrections that helped me go deeper into my poses in a safe and aligned way. That really says something. As a newbie to hot yoga, my first experience was not great. I got lost trying to find the place and attempted to call for help, but the phone number didn't work. When I arrived, there was no one at the front desk to assist me, so I was on my own. Basic customer service and consideration of new members seems to be very lacking. Also, while I understand that comfort and freedom are big part of the yoga vibe, I'm curious--what are the minimal attire requirements? Some were dressed so minimally, it felt like I had walked into someone's living room (uncomfortable and distracting). First impressions matter, and unfortunately, this one missed the mark for me. I attended class here for the first time on a Sunday evening. They have 2 weeks for $29 great deal. The good points- parking super easy and the studio is veryyy clean! Nice showers and locker room. Very nice practice space. However I don't know if it was the time/day that I was there- but the class was sort of depressing. There is no vibe or friendliness here the attitude of staff and students was not necessarily rude but they were not welcoming at all. The room was cold too. I'm a very experienced practitioner and was expecting a "Bikram" studio to be super hot and sweaty with humidity. It was not at all. I was chilled by the end. Simply adding this review for others thinking of attending here if looking for a HOT studio, you will be displeased. Otherwise it's good for beginners, elders, or folks that cannot withstand heat. read more

I found Bikram yoga to be fairly interesting. It is different than any other hot yoga that I have done before. The 90-minute format was perfect. I enjoyed the discipline everyone held in the class being in complete silence. Only nose breathing was interesting. I found the studio to be spotless. The bathrooms were big and pleasant. The classes were mildly heated. I took 6 classes. And only experience 3 teachers. Both Judy and Ali are helpful and easygoing teachers. Cecilia was not bad, not great. Recently I moved to CA and started a journey to try multiple hot yoga studios in OC to find "my studio". I'm happy to share in a series of reviews my humble opinions as I try to find the right fit ‍ I tried out Bikram Yoga Irvine using their introductory week offer for $29 for 1 week (personally I went 3x). Normally the classes are $$$ though comparable to rates in the area. They have a variety of class times offered of the same class, a traditional Bikram series, throughout the week and are currently a 1-room studio. The room itself is really large and currently there are stickers placed on the floor to ensure spacing between everyone as a COVID precaution. The classes are set at a comfortable heat (90's range) and the class can feel somewhat meditative. As compared to other hot yoga, this felt warm as the heat was really mild. It may have been because I was by a heater but there was a distinct melted plastic scent in the studio (ew). Some of the staff were really welcoming while others were more reserved. For many people, a yoga studio can be their home away from home and maybe it's the times we are in but there wasn't that sense here. While this studio seemed perfectly adequate I don't think it will make my top list bit we'll see read more

Frances is a wonderful instructor. I've taken 90 minute classes at other studios and always have a hard time focusing--the time moves so slowly. With Frances the class moved by quickly and I felt mentally and physically great! She is very supportive, helpful and hilarious. The time went by quickly. I feel healthier and amazed at how my body was able to move. The studio itself is VERY nice. I've been to two other Bikram studios, corePower Yoga, RA yoga and this by far is the nicest studio I've seen. read more

Ok where can I start! I Live for YoGA it's my life can't live without it. So my place of practice is so important to me. First it's got to have windows so it's not claustrophobic this place is full light and it's a cheerful place not dark and depressing like other studios. It's extremely clean after every class they clean and disinfect after every class so there's never an odor left behind. The teachers are wonderful. Every one of them is amazing and unique. The staff greeds you kindly without any judgments. You can obviously tell this place is run by a happy team:) I appreciate a place I can go to feeling excited to do my practice with my daughter. As a physical therapist practicing over a decade and a yoga student for 20 years, I high recommend Bikram yoga to improve your posture, reduce your risk of developing osteopenia/osteoporosis, reduce developing degenerative disc/joint disease, so that you can avoid painful procedures like knees/hip replacements in your later years --- these are just the physical benefits. After many of practicing various forms of Yoga, I decided to just focus on the practice of Bikram yoga to optimize my physical health and well-being. The sequence itself is brilliant and systematic. By eliminating distracting factors (music, random sequencing involved in other Yoga practice) it enhances our ability to concentrate and focus as ADD/ADHD is on the rise in our modern society, not just amongst teenagers but adults also. This is basic brain science -- rather than intellectualizing it, do it! As a healthcare professional whose life dedicates on examining and treating people with various musculoskeletal injuries/conditions, I truly wish that most of my patients would participate in some forms of a Yoga practice on a consistent basis to improve their quality of life. I had only good experiences at this studio until one day they had this reiki/yoga/soundbath thing held by guest practitioners Yuka and Cami. I had never been to a soundbath or had reiki done before and was hoping it would've been a good way to unwind. I ended up having to walk out before the class was over. They were filming the entire thing with close up shots of everyone practicing. How anyone is supposed to relax with cameras on them the entire time is beyond me. They didn't tell us before it was going to be filmed either. I paid and almost walked out immediately when I saw the camera but decided to give it a shot, hoping they'd put the cameras away soon. But that didn't happen. I walked out when Yuka was doing reiki on the man next to me and the cameraman was filming him up close. I was next and didn't want my privacy invaded like that. So I never had the reiki done. It's sad that Yuka and Cami only seemed to care about getting their Instagram-worthy videos and pictures rather than on helping people unwind. I've never had such an anxiety-provoking experience at a yoga studio. The worst part is, when I emailed the studio about my bad experience, I never got a response. I guess they condone their guest practitioners filming people without their consent. But hey, if you're into being filmed while having some chick bang pans around you to drain your energy, then this place may be for you. Missed the mark for me, personally. I will be finding a new studio to practice at. Update: The owner conveniently contacted me right after this review was posted. I had emailed him 9 days ago with no response previously. He got me in contact with Yuka and Cami. They were apologetic and offered me a free ticket to another event. Although I'm no longer interested, it is nice that they reached out. read more

I've been searching and shopping for my new homebase yoga studio (specifically Bikram's 26&2) since moving to the area after leaving my home studio of 14 years in SLC, Utah. I signed up for the $29 intro promo deal; what a steal! When I arrived I was met with a very warm greeting, and the studio was spotless with plenty of natural lighting. My first class was with Frank. Experienced, knowledgeable, top tier. He was on-time, the dialogue was perfectly delivered, and his energy matched. Overall, I felt very welcomed by the staff and the community here. I've practiced in all of the Bikram studios in the OC area now, and this is without a doubt the best one IMO. I'm so glad the search is over, and will be committing to my monthly membership here once my promo expires. read more

I had practiced bikram yoga at this studio a decade ago, and being still on their email list, I get 'comeback' type deals on and off. I been in a slump which feels like a mini depression, which I cant decide if its to do with me in general, or the situations outside. But anyways, when I saw a deal in mailbox for 10 classes/49$ as come back package, I opted to sign up. I took it religiously to do all the 10 classes(its an unlimited, but one class a day is plenty for me). Having done this years ago, and having not done this and going back, I do have few word of wisdom to share! The instructors that I used to practice with - Cecilia and Nadine - still work there that was a pleasant surprise and goes on to tell how this institution sustained through time and covid. They used to have carpet that used to have this musky heat smell, that many people used to complained in the past. But with the new vinyl floors, I felt very comfortable in the space. With covid, and extra cleaning they do, it feels very fresh. I have taken morning and evening classes part of my 10 day package, and its always clean/spotless. The 90 minute practice and Yoga moves, did somehow make a chance in me that I could feel, in the sense, I feel like I am bit more optimistic and positive about facing the day! I dont know if its the heat, or the practice, or the fact that I feel like I did something good to me and my body - but I am definitely enjoying this refreshed renewed feeling in me!I do want to attribute to the practice. All in all, I want to say even after 10+ years, this place has proven what an amazing gem of a local institution it is! I am lucky to live super close to this studio. I need to take a break and decide whether to sign up for their monthly package. But I will definitely be back! read more

I first went there last year for one week. I was impressed by their great, huge and clean studio. I love the staff, they are warm, welcoming and caring. They provide free towel when you sign up for a whole month of practice. Lockers and showers are cleaned between each class !
