I came for the free Sunday community class at 11:00AM this month and I had a great experience! The studio is located next to Vons with plenty of parking, though I can imagine it getting busier on weekends as it's shared with other businesses. Since it's a newer location (opened last fall), the studio space is brand new, clean, and charming. Upon walking in, I loved how gorgeous the front lobby design was! The studio has a total of 3 studio rooms. I was in Studio 1, which was large and spacious--much more than other CorePower locations I've visited. It made the vinyasa flow class feel comfortable and open rather than cramped. This was a great change compared to the other CorePower OC studios. One standout feature is the bathroom/locker room area, which is especially large and spacious. The atmosphere is easy to navigate around when changing or putting your things in a locker. The area consisted of four showers (one handicap accessible), plenty of bathroom stalls, and a huge vanity space stocked with a couple essentials like 2 blow dryers, tampons, spray deodorant, and Q-tips. The showers are also well-equipped with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, making it easy to freshen up after class. I didn't feel rushed or crowded, which is a rarity at other CorePower OC locations. The 2 individuals who I interacted with briefly were the front desk worker and the instructor who were both warm and professional. The studio room itself had yoga blocks and sanitary wipes for cleaning your gear, which I appreciated. My only small suggestion for my next visit would be for the instructor to wear a headset/microphone. Even from the front row, I had a bit of trouble hearing her at times through the music, otherwise I enjoyed my visit and felt welcomed at the Costa Mesa location. Overall, I'd highly recommend this location and can't wait to return for more classes.

I love the new CorePower Yoga studio in Costa Mesa! The studio feels much more friendly and comfortable, with a cozy lounge area on the left side of the entrance that adds to the welcoming vibe. The decor, furniture, paneling, and details are sleek and modern, featuring plenty of warm wood tones that give the space a updated, sophisticated yet inviting atmosphere. It's incredibly spacious with three studio rooms, all heated by infrared panels like the newer CPY locations. The heat feels more intense here and less oppressive (at least for me), with three rows of wide panels--definitely an upgrade from the thinner ones at Fashion Island. The extra space is a major plus, making it roomier than other Orange County studios. However, Huntington Beach and Woodbridge still offer more classes for now, and their studios can accommodate more people. But Costa Mesa really stands out in terms of its changing rooms. The setup feels more private, with actual doors separating the entrance from the hallway, instead of the usual doorless entry. The women's area is thoughtfully designed with four separate sections: locker rooms, a triple sink vanity, 4 showers (including a handicap one), and a vanity area for extra convenience. And there's NO CARPET! This is huge. I can't stand walking through grimy locker rooms with carpet--it feels unhygienic with all the sweat and moisture buildup. I will say the location was a bit tricky to find since the sign isn't up yet--I ended up being late to my first class. It's located between Vons and WESCOM. The Vons parking lot fills but more parking available by CVS.

Katherine makes the class truly special. I absolutely love her energy and the way she guides the flow. Her presence creates such a positive and uplifting atmosphere, and every class feels both grounding and empowering. She has a beautiful way of connecting with everyone in the room, making the experience enjoyable and inspiring every time.

I Thought I wasn't a yoga person--until I took two classes at the Costa Mesa location. Now? I totally get the hype. Let me be clear: when they say hot yoga, they mean HOT. If you're not a fan of heat, this might not be for you. But if you're up for the challenge--trust me, you need to try this class. When I say I was dripping in sweat... baby, I was soaked. And the next day? I felt it, especially in my abs. There's something about finishing this class that just hits different. You walk out feeling accomplished--like you did something amazing for both your mind and body. And shoutout to the studio manager (I wish I caught her name!)--she's incredible at explaining movements, making sure you feel comfortable, and letting you move at your own pace. Not sure if it's for you? Try their free community class on Sunday mornings! It fills up fast, so pre-register and show up early to grab a spot. It's the perfect way to dip your toes into hot yoga. I began attending yoga, yogalates and barre classes and trying out different instructors. I even tried the Metal Yoga and loved it! There used to be a yoga class that incorporated reiki which was awesome (Meera we miss you!) Currently my favorite classes are the sound baths with Missy. They also feature special classes every once in a while for special things like breath work etc. which are quite popular. I really like this studio because it's not one of those impersonal corporate owned places that has a generic big box feel. I hate those places because any time I have done the one free class deal to see if I like it I end up getting hounded by text messages trying to sell me a monthly membership. Hello Yoga is NOT that kind of place. They are so chill here. Hello Yoga is a woman owned small business and you can meet Debra, the owner, and take one of her classes and experience how great she is. She knows what people want and need so she offers all types of options for signing up for classes. You can choose to have a monthly membership, pay for a single class, buy a class pack or use Classpass. There's always plenty of parking in the lot in front of the studio with overflow parking available behind the studio.

It really feels like a "community yoga center," it's honestly so Costa Mesa. The classes are excellent. The instructors do a great job of accommodating all levels and they're super-friendly. They have a variety of class types, including barre and yogalates. It's just a great studio, and their unlimited monthly rate is an amazing deal. They even have livestreaming classes now. And their new student intro rate for your first month is only $50 at the time I'm writing this. I can't say enough good things about this place.

I forgot to mention how much I enjoy all the members at Yoga Six! You just have to go there and check it out for yourself. When you know, you know. I wanna give a shout out to Eva. Today, I brought my 17 year-old autistic son to Eva's TRX class. He was trepidatious and unenthusiastic about having to try something new. That is, until he experienced the patience and kindness that Eva showed him. Not to mention, the entire class cheered him on and gave him praise for trying something new. I am so grateful. All of the teachers are creative, kind, innovative, and encouraging to the students. I enjoy each and every instructor for their individuality. I am grateful to the entire staff for creating such a harmonious and friendly environment for each and every one of us to enjoy.

It's super clean, the instructors have all been fantastic, especially Allegra and any of the Restore instructors. I went yesterday and was super excited because it was my first class postpartum. Granted, I was 3 minutes late and rushing in so that was on me but this feedback is for a woman who works there that wasn't the front desk person? She first berated me that I hadn't signed up on Classpass (I had). She made an unnecessary comment about how bookings close within 10 minutes of class (I reiterated that I had signed up and got a confirmation). I had to pull up my phone to show her, but of course my name was also there on the iPad after she scrolled again. Then, she told me to leave my phone on the outside. I understand this as a policy but I've been to so many exercise studios and have been respectful about wrapping my phone in a towel or keeping it in my pocket, ringer off, dim brightness. I have a newborn at home and a Tesla so it's also my car key. I was already late for class and this whole interaction was not only killing my chill yoga vibe but I felt like I was getting scolded by a parent and I'm in my mid 30s. I explained I'd prefer not to do that and she insisted. I was exasperated by then so decided to leave. She then goes, we can lock it up for you, but by then I must've been 6-7 minutes late, would've had to give someone my phone and walk in, get my props, disturb the class, find a spot, set up and so on. I don't mind that this is the studio policy, in fact, I had seen her do this before to another person when I was pregnant. I just wish she could've communicated any part of this interaction with more either grace or at least neutrality. I would've been happy to lock my phone in a locker or leave it with the front desk person. Instead, I started my Saturday morning flustered and unnecessarily on the end of someone's rudeness. Not "Restore" yoga vibes, nor general human to human kindness. I hope this feedback gets to this person and Classpass readers can be prepped for an interaction like this if you're late to class and have your phone on you. I'm not sure the studio's policies regarding lateness but I'd much rather have been turned away that I was too late! The whole argument and back and forth could've been spared and I would've understood. Being a new mom I was just hopeful to have gotten into a class in my free 1.5 hours before I have to breastfeed my kid again so it was just a huge bummer to be so excited to go back to this YogaSix and have all that happen. I will say whoever was working the front desk and phone was very sweet, I wish I got her name. I had to call back to ask that I be checked in for Classpass so at least I wouldn't get hit with a cancellation fee and she was very warm, told me not to worry about it and she would do it right there and then. So this reads as more constructive criticism, all staff should operate at that level. Please do better for your guests, including legitimate reasons why people might need their phone on them like a newborn at home.
