Can I just say how amazing this place really is!!! Is located right on the west side of the Tustin Market place, right by where The Home Depot is at and right next to the new Nordstrom Rack. I have been coming to this location on and off for about 2 yrs. I had heard so many of my yogi friends talk about how great and how much fun they had at this studio chains that made me want to join the crowd. I was lucky enough to find a Groupon which also included an extra free wk for being a new client, so I went for it and took it! I was more than glad I made the decision of coming to this chain only because my very first experience was I think one of the greatest. I remember my instructor (Annabel) who was extremely nice and explicit while explaining how to do the poses. She was (every one is...) very hands on when it came to adjustments, just so that I wouldn't hurt myself as I'm practicing. I just remember walking out with this great completion of my very first yoga class and yet couldn't wait to come back the next day for more. So if you are wondering on what yoga studio to attend, I most definitely recommend CorePower. Any of their so many locations carry their motto on how to make the practice better and enjoyable at the same time. Their staff is super welcoming and the instructors are always available for any question, comments or concerns. They even have memberships on hand or "drop-in" classes available. There's no annual commitment if you dont want, which is great! If you want to have to wear a mask in a hot yoga class and almost faint this is the place for you. I went in thinking I would be 6 ft apart and able to take mask off on my mat during the hot yoga class. On website it said masks required walking around studio and to the mat. Only select studios required it during class. In this class I wasn't allowed to take mask off and with asthma I felt anxious and dizzy out of breath in the hot at least 90 degree or more humid room. I wasn't made aware checking in. When I left I asked the girl which locations didn't require mask, she said all of them do require in California. I asked why website made it seem only few select studios nation wide she had no clue. I was assuming areas with high Covid cases probably have that rule. We barely have cases in this town. Regardless CorePower should make it clear upon entering I would have gladly left not paid for class and never come back. Other yoga studios do not require this ridiculous rule. It should be optional especially in a class with only 5 people completely spread out. Made me sick and with wet soaked mask I got a rash and acne break outs. read more

I just recently started visiting this CorePower location during Covid (Brea is my usual studio), and it has been great so far!! The instructors have wonderful, positive energy and CorePower in general is a great yoga experience always. The Studio is always clean and comfortable, and is safe during covid. Wearing a mask during class really is not bad at all. Overall, I would rate CorePower a 12/10. I have enjoyed it far more than any other yoga experience and it is truly worth every penny. read more

I FREAKING LOVE COREPOWER. ESPECIALLY THEIR YOGA SCULPT CLASSES. In any class, you will literally spend one hour drinking in your sweat. You will be lunging and squatting and downward dogging..? with sweat burning in your eyeballs and down your legs to your feet and I absolutely love it. The classes can vary in difficulty based on the instructor teaching. For beginner yogis or yogis who just want a feel, take advantage of the free one week pass! I've been to this location and the one on barranca; I love them both! Instructor wise: I love Vinny and Madison's classes! Scammers! They signed up my underage daughter in a monthly subscription... then they double billed my account. When questioned they immediately credited the double charge but insisted my underage daughter signed up for the monthly ...unaware of the name, I thought it was my workout place that was charging me...they scammed me for a year! Then when I called them out on it, they continuously called my underage daughter after being told to stop harassing her! Never seen such scammers! They prey on underage teens! Keep your teens away and if they get your charge card, watch that they don't put a subscription in there!! Stay away!! I lost over $2k!!! read more

I absolutely love the yoga sculpt classes however, they over pack the rooms. It would be fine for regular yoga classes but yoga sculpt requires more room. They seem to only care about how many bodies they can fit into a class than the actual safety of students. If you want a strangers sweaty body parts in your face then come here. Also, dont bother reaching out to customer service because that also is horrible. read more

Having very minimal yoga experience and also being NOT flexible, I was initially intimidated about starting Corepower Yoga. After several weeks into it, I have to say I am now addicted! As a runner, I usually like faster/higher intensity workouts, but CPY has been a great complement to my normal routine with regards to strength building, toning, and flexibility. Mentally, it's been really helpful for slowing down my constant racing thoughts, and turning all that stress into sweat! I utilized the free week trial and got hooked after going to several classes. CPY has a variety of classes, but so far I've only tried CP2 and sculpt. I really enjoy sculpt, which is basically a fusion of yoga with weight-bearing exercises. If you want to sweat, stretch, and work your muscles to crunk&upbeat music, then definitely give sculpt a try! While each class was unique based on the instructor, it seems that the yoga classes here are more exercise focused vs spiritual. However, the instructors all had their own "words of wisdom" that they would share throughout to help us with our practice on the mat and life in general. Pros: -Classes offered throughout the entire day, from 6AM to 9PM. This is especially important for me since my work schedule is varies day/night -Drop-in method: first come, first serve! I like that there's no commitment to sign up ahead of time (i.e. deal with cancellations). What's also great is that the classes I've attended has a fair amount of people, and is not overcrowded -Pass works for all CPY locations -A variety of classes, catering to all levels -Convenient location - plenty of parking spaces, spacious/clean studios, and clean locker rooms with numerous showers -Instructors have all been energetic, positive, and motivational Cons: -Maybe pricing..personally I think it's a good investment if you are serious about CorePower Yoga! I ended up getting the $400/20 classes, so it comes out to be $20/class, which you can use whenever you want. If you end up going more than 2x/week, then it would be more cost efficient to sign up for their Black Tag membership ($159/month, $89 for first month) What to bring: -Yoga mat (duh lol) although you can rent them out as well -Towel (for all them sweat!) -Water -Tight and comfy tops and bottoms, I'd recommend sports bra only for girls... the less the better ;) since you'll be drenched in sweat Definitely looking forward to trying out the other classes offered and advancing from my current yogi noob status! After using my free week trial, I was easily convinced that I wanted to make this place part of my weekly routine so I went ahead and purchased the Black Tag Membership. It can be kind of pricey at $159/month (First month is $89) but if you go at least twice a week ($20/session average) you will be getting the most out of your membership already. One thing that I really enjoyed is that each class is unique to its instructor. So a sculpt class can be completely different depending on who you took it with. Some may focus more on core, others may have more leg workouts in their routine. So it is a pleasant surprise to try all of the different instructors. On weekdays there are a few options for classes that start at 6:00am and then 6:30am if you are on one of those people that also like to get your workout out of the way in the morning. But there are also 8:00pm and even an 8:45pm-9:45pm option if you day ends late and you want to cram in a yoga session late at night to end your day. Top 3 pros of this location: 1.The studios are very spacious. I have been to other yoga studios in the area and some of them can be extremely packed to the point where I feel like I could reach over and touch the person next to me. 2. Parking is plentiful/free and never an issue. 3. The studio is very clean from the studios to the bathrooms. The lockers in the bathrooms and showers that are all kept very clean, definitely one of my hygiene pet peeves. Also there is plenty of food in the Tustin Marketplace which makes it extremely convenient. Chick-fil-a, Urban Plates, El Pollo Loco, Thai Spice, California Fish Grill, Pieology. You definitely don't get what you pay for anymore with CPY. I reinstated my membership this month. One week back and I am thoroughly disgusted. While I loved this location pre-pandemic, they have been apathetic at protecting their patrons with covid safety protocols. Yogi's phlegmy coughing and sneezing allllll throughout class, in the halls, locker rooms. It should not be left to the customer's discretion to disclose if they are ill when they are very clearly sick and spreading germs throughout the space, especially in a hot and humid jam packed class. Not a mask in site, no social distance, classes are jam packed (we were told the new 'book before class' purpose was for safe class capacity), people talking before and during class, and throughout shavasana with no comment from the instructors. I hope logic steps in and they at the very least start checking vaccination statuses. read more

The classes can get wayyy to crowd at times and there is no room. Packed like sardines in a can during certain time slots. The studio really needs to monitor and limit the number of people in a class. I pay a monthly membership and I don't feel like the quality is there when you're jam-packed... its very gross and disgusting to have someone's foot in your face. read more

Just tookthe yoga 2 class with David, and it was so awesome! This class starts at 9am on Saturdays. It's so energizing to do this yoga class in the morning because it energizes you and since you sweat you are also releasing g toxins. What a great way to start your day. I joined CorePower yoga in January. I've done different types of yoga at different studios but this place is my favorite. At other studios there was always a sense of pressure and clique's. I always felt judged for not coming all the time or for not being as advanced as others. The instructors always seemed to focus on the people who were there all the time. As a teacher and someone taking care of someone with breast cancer, I have to cancel last minute. CorePower yoga always makes me feel welcome, everyone is genuinely nice and friendly, classes are full of people who are genuinely there to practice at their own levels without the pressure of anyone else, instructors actually care and encourage every student plus the facilities are clean, up to date, and can accommodate everyone. I started at this place about 3 weeks ago. I like how they do a week free so you can see if yoga is the right fit for you. After my first week, I signed up for a membership. I love this place! I was doing yoga at another studio in Costa Mesa which was also great, but this location is a lot closer. I also like the ladies gym. There are plenty of showers and bathroom stalls. Also, super clean which is a huge plus in my book! The classes they offer are great and all throughout the day so there are plenty of options to choose from. If I'm not mistaken, all the classes are heated. My fav class is Yoga Sculpt. I do boot camp as well so this class is a nice one to pair boot camp with. It's a real sweat fest so bring a towel and water! I don't have a fav teacher yet but the ones I've taken so far are really nice and push you to your limit. Parking is a plenty as the parking lot is hugggeee! CorePower Yoga is right next to Nordstorm Rack and close to Home Depot. They also have clothing items and mats for purchase if you feel like you're in the shopping mood. If you're a member, you also get a discount on those items. Mats and towels are available to rent. Towels are 2 bucks and mats I think the same. My only complaint is that when I went in to pay for my membership, the lady who helped me, who I think is also a teacher, seemed very aloof and not attentive at all. I was trying to ask her some questions and she just seemed way too busy to even answer them for me. I was a little turned off but the classes are still great, so I decided to not make a huge deal. I will say that if someone is trying to pay the studio for services, the staff should give them attention and act like they care. All in all, I would def recommend this place for anyone! I was recommended to try CorePower from a couple of you Yelpers, so I decided to do a drop in for a class on a Sunday morning. This location itself was a little hard to find because my stupid navigation was taking me in circles. Luckily I knew it was within the Tustin Marketplace and the man on the phone told me they were right next to Easy Life Furniture. That and Total Wine are a great landmarks to go by. Hot Power Fusion was my poison. I didn't really know what to expect except that it was going to be a hot class. Matt B was our teacher and he led us through a good flow of postures. Though it was probably in the 100 degree+ mark, it wasn't that bad and the classy was semi-crowded. Sometimes when you take a hot yoga class, it feels like the air is sucked out of you when you walk in the room. I liked Matt's teaching style. He led a strong class but was there to help make sure people were aligned and positioned correctly. He continuously walked around the room and always reminded people to go only as far they could and that a child's pose was always a good option if they were feeling overwhelmed. It was definitely a great way to start a Sunday morning. If you have somewhere to be after the fact, the bathrooms are really nice and come equipped with multiple showers. Forget something? They have soaps, shampoos, conditioners, mouthwashes, and etc. for you to borrow. Super clean and super handy (since I forgot shampoo). They have a variety of lockers to secure your belongings in and will even let you borrow a lock in exchange for your keys. For newbies, they offer a free week when you print out their coupon online, and offer mat and towel rentals if you don't have or forgot your own. Tip: Towel mats, hand towels and water should be a necessity when you come. You're definitely going to leave soaking wet. I'll definitely be back, this was such a cool studio! read more

I know it's long but you're worth the knowledge ;) Hello yelpers & friends :) So today I decided to write a review for Core Power Yoga, not the regular review where I describe how immaculately clean the studios and locker/bathrooms are, or how incredibly talented the instructors are and the way they put so much meaning and love into their practice (so far I've been to Bianca, Liz, Anh, Jeff, Vinny, Chelsea, Amber, Tina G) and I know it's hard to understand it when I say they have all become my favorite in different ways because they are just UH-MAZING! We already know that CPY is the place to be as you can read in the reviews (except Geoffrey L's, I read that guy's review and thought how selfish of him to try to sway other people away from realizing and experiencing this great community of people just because his wife repeatedly couldn't make it to class on time. If I am late to class whether it be ONLY 30 seconds, I am not going to interrupt the class for my own gratification when there are people that made it 10 minutes early out of respect for their fellow classmates. I used to go to 24 hr fitness' yoga class with Suzanne and I loved her, except that, and I KID YOU NOT, people will walk into class 12 minutes after the class has already started, drop their mats loudly and say a word or three to their other buddy who is late) So this is for the new people, the lovely people who are trying out one class, or the free week, or have taken a leap of faith and signed up for the membership (welcome friends and high five!!). Yoga is about being selfless, being in harmony with your body and everyone else all at once. This is not the time to be selfish, but to be selfless. Treat others the way you would like to be treated, with respect. I picked up on a lot of unspoken yoga etiquette after the first couple classes I attended and also by reading up on articles about yoga. I like reading about meditation and the many practices of yoga so I can incorporate it into my own practice (setting a purpose). Here are some that are as important as many others, but for sure try to adapt these into your yoga practice as well as life. The benefits are real people! :) 1. Come early, your on time. Come on time, you're late. -if class starts at 7:30, I have parked my car at 7:10 and in child's pose or meditating on my mat in the studio by 7:20. 2. No shoes in the studio -think of it as a sacred temple, you wouldn't want to track in dirt with your shoes so come in barefoot. 3. Good hygiene - they provide showers,deoderant spray, mouthwash in the locker rooms so please make sure you're all fresh and ready. We sweat a lot in class and do open mouth exhales 4. No over powering perfumes/colognes - when your body starts to heat up, the perfume you put on starts to intensify. When in doubt, just shower it out. Fresh shower smell is the best! 5. No chitchatting in the studio. -There are people that come early and begin meditating before the instructor comes in. If you must squeeze out a juicy story to your buddy, you can take it outside as long as you're back at least 5 minutes before class starts 6. Try to make as little noise as possible. - from setting up your space (don't drop mat and roll out, instead lay mat carefully onto the floor with little to no noise then roll out), to performing intense poses (instead of grunting or sighing your discomfort, try to breath slowly and deeply, exhale slow and really focus on your breath, this is a positive way to face your discomfort and will help you sink deeper into your pose), to packing up after class (roll mat quietly, when exiting the door make sure the door doesn't slam behind you but gently guide and release the door so that people are not disturbed) 7. Pass on the positivity - give a warm smile to the people you have just practiced with, give a compliment or two, thank your instructor. I stopped by this place to check some classes and see their accessories for yoga. All the front desk ladies were busy complimenting their members and no one bothered to notice me walking around. I was thinking if I did not dress nice enough to get their attention. No, I did dress OK for a shopping day. I felt nauseated when hearing all the phony greetings from the employees to their members: " Hi beautiful! Hi gorgeous... Blah, Blah, Blah..." I walked out when realized that I was not welcomed at this studio. It seems to me most of the yoga studios are owned by Indian but they hire American to work for them. I wonder if the employees have to be phony like that to keep their job. Just thinking about that place makes me sick. read more

Ohhh Corepower :) This location is just as nice as any of its other locations. I honestly really enjoy that Corepower is a chain, you can practice anywhere in Socal and expect great facilities and amenities no matter where you are. Unlike LA Fitness (cough cough) I took a sculpt class with Amanda(?) I think...I just remember her saying that she was transferring back to the Torrance location. Its too bad because she was awesome! It was like learning from a good friend. I'm sad to see her leave but im confident that the other teachers will be just as good. Yaaayyyyyy! Finally another Corepower! West Irvine/Tustin Ranch has the $$$ the demographics and the yuppie to garner a corepower, love that its finally here. Its beautiful contemporary and spacious. The studio is clean with lots of free parking. There are classes scheduled throughout the day to fit your schedule. The instructors are knowledgeable, fun and inspiring. I like that I can use my membership to take classes in San Diego and Santa Barbara while on vacation, and also drop in at other studios within Orange County. Took them up on their week free trial offer, and got a chance to try several of their classes - heated power yoga, and heated power yoga with weights. The good thing about this being a huge chain is that your membership can get you into any one of their yoga locations, making it super convenient! They also have tons of classes throughout the day and night that you can take. I took two heated power yoga classes, and it was hit or miss for me. The first time I took it, I thought the instructor was terrible (but he did say he was a substitute - still, I don't know if that's really a legit excuse) - he just didn't flow very well between movements, and he kept changing the songs so it was really distracting. The second instructor was great. I loved the heated power yoga with weights class! It was the perfect combination of traditional vinyasa flows and weights, so you're not lifting weights the entire time. The way they have you do the weights falls perfectly in line with the flow of your yoga movements too, so it all makes sense. You're also using pretty light weights - 3 and 5 pounders. All the classes I've taken have been heated, so not sure if they offer non-heated ones. I used to do Bikram yoga regularly, so the heat here didn't seem that bad compared to that and I found myself really enjoying the heat. It was the perfect temperature to get you sweating and your joints loosened. I heard from the instructor that some of the other studios, like the Irvine Barranca one, has a cycling/yoga combo type class. I'd love to give that a try someday. Wish they had that here! I definitely recommend giving this studio a shot. Look for free trials or Groupons first! read more

I've always wanted to try yoga but was intimidated to start. Fortunately I had 1) neighbors who went with me, 2) a groupon to try it out for a month, and 3) a welcoming environment at CorePower. I definitely got hooked, and actually look forward to going to classes, which isn't something I could ever say about going to a gym. No fighting for a machine, no waiting for the time to go by, no work emails popping up while I'm on the treadmill. I feel physically and mentally better after going here. I've been to this location and the one on Barranca. Both are great friendly and clean places. However, I prefer this location because the rooms feel a little more open, and because they put tape one the ground so people know where to put their yoga mat and it doesn't feel crowded. Additionally, there are more instructors at this location that I like. I recommend going to different classes and feeling out different instructors. While they go through the same moves, the pacing, music, and even sound of their voice can change the mood. My only complaint is that the schedule across the 3 CPY locations around Irvine are the same. For example, all the later classes are C1. Based on my work schedule, its harder for me to get to the earlier classes. Yoga also can be pricier in general, but I'd rather pay for something I actually enjoy, and plan on continuing to go to CPY. read more

Vinny is my favorite I am unsure if he is still there. Core power is pricey but definitely not one of the highest priced and you get more for your money rather then these tiny overpriced one room studios. Cute merchandise as well but expensive!! Not all the instructors and equally as great so you have to try them all to find who you can connect with. Definitely take all the classes, I tried all of them and felt I left there with a really well rounded basic understanding of all the varies yoga styles. My practice feels more perfect, for me:) DO NOT BRING ANY BELONGINGS YOU DONT WANT STOLEN BECAUSE YOGIS DO STEAL! It's common sense. Just bring the necessaries. I did notice that they started giving out locks upon requests so that's an attempt. But they are dinky little locks, easily cut off if Ya catch my drift. I joined in August 2019 after doing the first free week and I have been hooked ever since! I really wanted to join a yoga studio that wasn't the basic yoga that you could get at any studio. I love their C2 and Sculpt classes for this reason. They are both hot yoga, but C2 is more of a rigorous hot yoga and sculpt is the one involving weights and is a killer workout. I go about 4 times a week and have the unlimited plan. I highly recommend joining and it has seriously been such a positive experience and workout in my life! I am now so strong, confident and centered and I couldn't be more thankful for joining!! read more

My favorite yoga studio BY FAR! I love core power for their classes, the cleanliness and their instructors. My favorite class is Core Power Sculpt cause it's always a good work out and the music is usually spot on! Think yoga plus weights and that's what sculpt is. I've taken a bunch of sculpt classes with almost all the teachers and it's always been good. Dolce always kicks your butt and so do the others, but her classes are always memorable. I've also taken hot power fusion which is always very relaxing and a great way to get your form in check. Another plus, they have classes all the time! I love it. Super convenient. The only thing is that the night classes are usually SUPER CROWDED. I mean I get it, but thought I'd still say it. Overall, super clean, super fun (at least I think so), and a great workout. MY FAVORITE! :) Oh and remember! If you've never been, don't forgot to use their free week trial! And if you've forgotten anything (ie: towel, mat, or water), you can always rent/buy one! read more

I love CorePower in general for their intense workouts and sweats but I adored the instructor, Natasha, that was specifically at this location for the Core Power Yoga 2 class. Natasha was both extremely energetic but also quirky and inviting as she challenged each yogi to deepen the poses and venture in moves that we didn't before. She had a motivating voice and even more powerful personality that made the practice so smooth and thrilling instead of tiring. Really like this studio and will be coming back! read more

LOVE this studio! My love for yoga runs deep, but I must admit I was in a yoga funk up until about several months ago. No studios were feeling like the right fit for me. I tried yoga trials at several other local studios, and then I discovered Core Power's one month Groupon deal that I couldn't resist. It was a sign! I started taking class at Core Power Tustin. My love for yoga was reignited the first time I stepped into Natalie's C2 class on a Thursday evening. I came out of that class feeling absolutely amazing--energized, strong, happy, and of course sweaty :) Yoga was finally not just feeding my body, but my mind and heart too. Her class is challenging but she has an amazing way of getting every yogi to recognize and celebrate their small victories throughout class. Natalie's class is definitely a treat for the body and the soul. I can't say enough about how much I love her classes! I also love Rose's classes! I love CorePower Yoga! I have been taking classes at the Irvine studio for 6 months now, and I've also been to both the Costa Mesa and Huntington Beach locations. Tustin is a welcome addition to the CorePower family. The studio is very inviting with a good size retail area and very clean and spacious locker room. There are two studios which are very large, quite a bit larger than the ones in Irvine and without the support pillars which frees up a lot of space. There is plenty of parking right next to the studio. Whether you've practiced yoga before or not, CorePower Yoga is a great place to check out. Beginners need not be intimidated. You can get a week free on your first visit, and if you refer a friend, you get a $5 credit towards any retail purchase. Many classes at this Tustin location are either free or only $10. read more

Found the free 1 week trial and decided to go with my friend. Having never tried yoga I didn't know what to expect at all. Even though I was in a beginner class it seemed like everyone else already knew what they were doing while my friend and I just watched and copied what they were doing. The instructor was really nice and I enjoyed my first yoga experience. Gonna go back tomorrow and try the hot yoga! read more

This review is long overdue. I used to be a yoga hater! I thought it was boring and just not for me. I had taken classes every now and then with friends at college, at 24 hr fitness, etc but never at a yoga studio. I stepped into CPY last year to try it with the free week and never looked back. CPY has great teachers, great classes and with classes from early morning to evenings, it is so convenient. I love how there are so many different styles of classes at CPY, I can take Hot Yoga one day, a Vinyasa another and a Restorative class when I need to. Yoga has truly changed me from the inside out, a true love affair. It used to feel slow and a bit boring for me, but I've always loved a good challenge and knew I had to keep coming back for more. Boy am I glad I did! After nearly 6 years, I gave Corepower another try and did their two week trial and it has CHANGED MY LIFE ~_~ I am able to get out of my head and allow myself to be fully present. It has also made me more aware and mindful of choices in my life, and my overall stress levels have gone down and it has helped me get into the mindset to choose healthier food choices. The reason I love Corepower is because the classes follow a certain structure, and some may say that it feels too corporate but I personally enjoy the consistency. I've been to other yoga studios like Ra Yoga but the classes aren't as fun and the studio space is a lot more cramped. I also find the Corepower's instructors are the best of the best.....like cream of the crop yoga teachers. Membership pricing is pretty outrageous, $159 a month for unlimited and single classes go for $15-20. If it was a little cheaper, I would for sure give this studio 5 stars! read more
