Somehow, during the course of our discussion, I instinctly offered the contract to him despite the fact his was the 2nd highest bid. Well, Rey of B Sons All In One did not disappoint when all was set and done. He followed instructions to the letter. Their work quality was excellent and every nook and cranny of the exterior was given attention. The end product was commendable. What impressed me more was the additional work done which was not included in the contract. Rey, during the course of pressure washing the house exterior, took it upon himself to include my white vinyl fence. He removed all mud and grime leaving the whole fence white and shiny. I had hired Rey in other jobs after this, and will continue to hire him. I find him highly trustworthy and his fees are reasonable. I have 2 more projects in mind and Rey is it.

Spoke to him on Thursday, AUG 5, and he volunteered to come give me an estimate at 8am the next morning. 8 am comes around and he doesn't show, not even a phone call from him. I waited until 8:30 and called him, no answer, then called back at 9:15 and left a message. He calls me back and gives me some excuse as to why he couldn't be here then apologized and said he'd be here at 10:30. Again, he was a no show but called me at 10:39 to confirm my address and said he was "almost there". Still waiting for him to show at 10:54 I called and told him not to come. Super unprofessional and unreliable. I can't imagine hiring this guy then worrying about if he's going to actually come do the job or not. I don't think I've ever hired anyone to do any kind of a job that would not come back out and fix their mistakes. I had Dreamcrete come out to my house to give me a bid for a stamped concrete driveway. A gentleman came out and was very thorough. When I asked him about removing the entire driveway, he was adamant that it didn't need to be done. He said our concrete had been there for a while and was done settling and there would be no need for that. I've worked with concrete in New Jersey in the past and I know it does crack, but he assured me that they cut into the cracks in the existing concrete and seal them. He also stated that because we don't get the cold weather here and the bonding used, it would not crack the stamping, He said they would be able to go right over the existing driveway. I reiterated about the cracking, considering they only put a 3/8 inch thin set over top of the concrete and that I was afraid it wasn't strong enough to hold the weight of vehicles, but again he assured me that it will not crack. He told me they've done this type of job before, including for Disney. Once they completed the job, it looked extremely nice. But, they put the expansion joint in the wrong place and had to come back and chip up the right side and redo it and re-cut the expansion joint.  While they were there, I showed them some of the cracks that were already coming through, which was only 5-6 months after the job was completed. They said they would reach out to their boss and get back to me. Once they left, I never heard back from them. A month later, I started seeing a lot more cracks, so I called them again. They sent someone out to look at it. He noticed how bad it looked and understood why I was upset and took pictures to send them to the boss. The boss said concrete is going to crack. I told him about the conversation I had with the estimator about him assuring me that it would not crack. His answer was that he no longer worked with the company. He continued by saying if I wanted it to be fixed, they could redo the entire driveway, but that I would have to pay them to redo the job. At that point, I already paid them almost $20,000. Since then, I've noticed the last few months that the stamping is now peeling away from the existing driveway and every time I blow off my lawn, I'm finding more and more pieces that are separating.
