We were very pleased no longer paying for electric as it will save us thousands each year. Be aware you will need to rinse the panels after a heavy pollen season and clean the panels annually or hire them to do so. That was our only surprise with our solar installation. Also important to note that even though it was a little difficult to get ahold of them initially, it was never difficult afterwards. They really make their clients a priority.

Look up reviews for Palmetto/Lightreach Solar, which is one of the financing vendors they use and see for yourself. Palmetto has multiple complaints with the BBB and all over the internet. I should of known better. A Solaria solar sales rep convinced my husband and I to sign the deal by promising we would only pay $102 a month -- nothing more, and that the panels would generate enough kWh to run my entire home. He never emailed us the agreement to review and said he wasn't even able to because it's not a long-term contract, that it's just four page disclosure on his work iPad. That rep has since been terminated for lying to other customers as well.
