Visited on a Saturday early evening. It has a diner feel and is located in a strip mall but not a place to skip! They have a lot of regulars come through for takeout and dine-in orders, and the staff seems to know everyone who walks through their doors. The staff was lovely, if not very busy managing the dining room, takeout orders, and customer interactions - I felt well taken care of and loved the down-to-earth family atmosphere! I loved the fried smelt, a dish I rarely see in restaurants, but one I really enjoy. Fresh and lightly coated, served with an amazing marinara sauce and lemons. Smelt are gutted and cleaned but you might find some tiny bones - they're delicate enough not to be a dealbreaker. I'd come back for this appetizer alone. The grilled shrimp skewer with Greek potatoes and salad was filling but still light. I'll definitely be back soon and hope to become a regular! read more

I want to start by saying the owner of this restaurant was absolutely lovely. I came in with a friend who is allergic to dairy and they were so accommodating. For example, she made sure the pita bread and potatoes had no butter on them. When my friend ordered the chicken kebab, she suggested swapping the taziki for hummus. It was as just very clear that the allergy was taken seriously. On top of that, the food was delicious. The gyro meat was so good, if I lived closer I would be stopping by all the time. read more

This spot is a local legend for Greek cuisine. It's taken years for me to finally make it here. This place has a lot of old charm in its decor and vinyl tablecloths. You can tell that they have plenty of regulars as you watch the interactions between staff and their guests. There are not a lot of vegetarian options of the menu other than their appetizers, but they do offer a side plate for your veggie forward friends. We started with saganaki and melizanosalata. Both were very good. I was hoping that the saganaki would be brought to the table in flames, but it came already fired. The melizanosalata was my favorite dish. It's heavy on the garlic and pretty addictive. The side plate of green beans, potatoes, broccoli and spanakopita was good, but not the best. I felt like it could have been served hotter and there was just too much oil. My daughter ordered an eggplant dish, which I tasted. It was ok, but a little too rich. She actually wasn't able to eat much of the dish and it made her feel ill. It may have been too heavy in dairy or oil. When she tried it again after reheating it she felt like it was too oily and couldn't stomach it. All in all, I'm glad we finally made it here and I'm happy that it has a core group of dedicated customers. It just wasn't for us. read more

An amazing little place! We are from out of town and was given the recommendation for dinner. We started with the orzo chicken soup which was magnificent! I had the half chicken with lemon potatoes which is highly recommended. My husband had the beef and lamb gyro platter which was good but a little dry. Stopped by Corfu Greek restaurant today on my lunch break. One of the owners came out and greeted us and she was absolutely lovely. The saganaki was amazing and beyond delicious. The gyro was great and so was the Greek coffee. The food came out quickly and seemed fresh. Wish I'd have gotten the octopus though. The place feels very authentic to me and Im first generation Greek in the US. If I'm back in that area again I will absolutely be back. Very highly recommended! I had been craving authentic Greek food and I saw Corfu as a great choice in a foodie group in Facebook. We were arakund the area and decided to give it a try. The restaurant is clean, nicely decorated, welcoming and cozy. You are greeted and welcomed right away by the nice owner Rita. She took care of us and made us feeled welcomed. We decided to try the Corfu Specials of the day and Rita made awesome suggestions for our sides. We had the Baked Fish with Lemon Potatoes and the Salmon in Garlic Sauce with Rice. Both were delicious, made to order, homemade, fresh and came with their house salad and pita. The rice tasted like I had gone to my grandma's home! That is when you know it is food made with their love of food. We ordered the octopus as well and it was tasty and fresh. Too full for dessert! Exactly what you're looking for when you want a down to earth Greek meal. The decor is the classic blues and whites with photos of Greece around. There are comfy booths and well spaced tables. My go-to is the avegolemono soup which was bright and had a lovely lemon tartness. I liked that it wasn't overly thick or too loaded with orzo. My cousin got the gyro platter which came with perfectly cooked meat, moist and tender but has that lovely char on the edges. I got the roasted chicken which was tender and flavorful throughout. Both of us had the lemon potatoes which were tender, moist and again perfectly flavored with not too much lemon. We got a basket of hot pita bread and bowl of tzatziki with a drizzle of good olive oil on top which was a delightful accompaniment. Absolutely will be coming back for the octopus and check out dinner! read more

Local spot on 434 in Winter Springs. I've eaten here 5 or 6 times and this place is money. Food is delicious and comes out fast every time. The lady that owns/runs it is super nice. It's a hole in the wall joint, but is clean and decorated nicely. There's a couple of tv's that show scenes from the Mediterranean that are beautiful. I like this place a lot, I'll continue to eat here and honestly I should eat here more often because it's that good. 4.5 seems high for a spot like this, but that's what I'm rating it. read more

Side Salad came with; bell pepper, tomato, red onion, cucumber, and romaine lettuce. It also was topped with a little bit of oil and spices. It also came with Greek dressing on the side! My girlfriend got the Pastitsio and it was extremely delicious and she said it "tasted like a warm hug". I had a few bites and it was extremely well seasoned, constructed and presented! What a wonderful dish. I got the gyro platter. It came with a side parsley rice and salad on the plate. Everything paired super well! They had wine options but as it was early in the day I stuck to water. This place was packed which is a good sign that their food is making people happy. I ordered the gyro platter. My husband ordered a Corfu platter. We also couldn't resist trying a hummus and pita bread appetizer. My kids ordered from the kids menu. My husband and I really enjoyed our meal and experience here. Went with the wife for lunch on a Saturday around noon and was at first a little worried that the place wasn't busy, but we were met with a warm and friendly smile and promptly sat in a comfy booth so decided to see it through for better or worse, and in hindsight I'm really glad we did. I loved the atmosphere and decor. To me it screamed classic greek restaurant. From the beautiful blue walls to the retro blue diner style booths. It was clear you had arrived in a little peice of Greece. It was just a lunch so we both ordered relatively light. I got the Gyro Sandwich with fries and my wife ordered a chicken kabob with a little Greek salad and some green beans. Everything was delicious! Well, I take that back. The green beans were a little off, but totally edible. The Gyro was standard, very fresh, and the ingredients were nicely balanced. The tomatoes were especially nice that day which is always a treat. The kabob was very tasty and my wife wouldn't share her little side of Greek salad, so that says it all. I love supporting the Mom and Pops out there! Keeping a little more of our money in local circulation and supporting places where you can feel the pride of ownership in every visit and taste it in every bite is always a winner with me. I decided to give it a go for lunch one day since it's so close (and I love Greek food). Ordering over the phone - on a Saturday afternoon - was easy and quick. I got the gyro platter with French fries on the side. When I came in to pick up my order, I was greeted by the sweetest lady who is one of the owners. She made small talk and shared their menu for me to take home and come back. It's a small and homey restaurant which was pretty empty on a weekend at lunchtime. The special of the day sounded delicious and made me immediately want to come back and eat in-house. Ten out of ten stars for service and friendliness. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for my dish. The gyro meat was salty. The fries were okay, but no seasoning so definitely needed ketchup. The pita bread was okay, it was pretty buttery but felt a little undercooked. I really would rather try this restaurant in person instead and hopefully change my mind on the food! read more

Meet up with some friends at this little spot in Winter Springs. It's not a huge place but they were able to accommodate our group of 10. Since I had never been here before I looked over the menu earlier before arriving to see what they offered. I'm notorious for taking too long to order at new restaurants so I try to make a point of doing this prior to my visit. That being said, I decided on the gyro pita sandwich and was a little disappointed to find out they only serve the sandwiches at lunch time. So I decided to choose the gyro platter which is basically is the same thing without the pita bread. They offer a few specials at dinner time and had several that sounded really tasty that night. A few of my friends chose one of the specials which was a stuffed chicken breast. It looked awesome & supposedly was delicious. My dish was ok but nothing special and honestly I've had better gyros. A few of the diners ordered the chicken kabobs platter which they said was delicious. The portions are a good size and the prices are moderate.
