The staff are so welcoming and nice! Maddi was so nice. We sat at the bar. The food had so much flavor and the drinks were really good. The lemon blueberry cake was sooo good. The place is so welcoming. You have to try the Saganaki it was delicious. The charcuterie board was sooo yummy. if you get the Gyro I recommend a side of tzatziki sauce and add feta. I will be back!

WOOHOO FINALLY A REAL RESTAURANT IN DELTONA!!!!!!!!!! We have been eyeballing My Greek Taverna since they were remodeling the pizza place that was in this spot. Especially since it's only 1.5mi from our house. We stopped in today and we'll be returning again and again. From the moment we walked in we knew it was going to be something good. Music playing at a pleasant volume, the colors of the Greek flag throughout, they left no detail undone. Our server, Mason, was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We started with the pita and tzatziki. So many places water theirs down and make it more like a sauce, the Taverna's was thick, cucumber packed and flavorful. The starter salads were nice, I love the amount of onion and both a black and a kalamata olive. My partner got the Chicken Souvlaki Platter. I'm a total chicken snob because restaurants tend to always kill it, nope, not the case here. This chicken was so juicy and the flavor was out of this world. The herb to citrus ratio was perfection with nothing overdoing anything else, all the flavors danced on the tongue. It comes with a lemon wedge, onions and a couple tomato slices. I showed my partner to take in all the flavors at once and she couldn't believe how her senses went on overdrive. I got the Keftedes Platter which also comes with the onions, tomato slices and lemon. The meat was moist, I could see the spices inside and they were firm yet soft on the inside. Truly the perfectly cooked meatball. No matter if eaten alone or with the accompaniments this is a must dry dish. The veggie of the day was green beans in a red sauce, we chose the roasted lemon potatoes instead. I've had something akin to these before but these were a first for me that my lil chefy self will be attempting to duplicate in my own kitchen. These wedges were buttery, soft but not mushy and packed with lemon flavor. Both dishes are also served with pita and tzatziki. For dessert we decided on the Flogeres which is a Greek version of a cannoli. They're come in 2s. It's basically a rolled baklava that is then topped with chocolate and chocolate chips and almond slices on one end, served with whip cream. The filing wasn't super nutty as baklava can tend to be, it was more of a nut paste. These weren't overly sweet at all or messy. We also got the chocolate cake which I'm guessing is a newer addition to the menu. It was rich but not heavy, very moist and super chocolatey but as with the above not overly sweet. We got to chitchat with Kristina (not sure if this is the correct spelling) who as we talked I found was an owner here. She inquired about how we liked the chocolate cake, we discussed desserts and food. As a Chef & Baker by trade I love when owners or managers come out on the floor to engage with patrons. It just makes the meal more meaningful in my opinion because while it is a business, it's also called a house and I like to meet my host when at another's house. They have specials Thur - Sat after 4pm which always include a fish dish, they've had red snapper and branzino to name a couple. The food, the service, the ambiance THIS IS THE PLACE!!! The two of us had a 4 course (appetizer, starter salad, entree, dessert) plus 2 sodas for less than $70. In this economy with inflation through the roof, this was next to miracle level for the quality of food we received. THANK YOU MY GREEK TAVERNA!!!! We will definitely be back

Decided to try this cute cozy establishment in a Saturday night a coupe hours before closing. There were no tables available since the place is small, and it was a very long wait. The service and food is very slow as well so don't come starving. The food was all very fresh and tasted great. My gyro meat was probably the softest I've had. We ordered gyro platter, Greek salads, some falafel, and garlic hummus. Everything was very good.

The gyro and fries were so good and huge!! Very decent pricing. The gyro by itself was less than $10. Fries were $3 extra

Grilled octopus and avegolemono soup

I've been eating at Greek restaurants my whole life and this is one of the best I've found - and not just "Deltona best" like "better than almost all the Greek restaurants in Orlando" We started with the grilled octopus appetizer which was so tender I could cut it with my fork and delicately seasoned with good olive oil and spices. I also got the baguette with the house dipping oil which was garlickey and herby and paired with a crusty but light baguette. Avegolemono is one of my top 5 favorite soups and theirs hits the spot. Lemony but not bitter, thick but not gloppy, just the right amount of chicken that was still moist. My father got the lamb chops and he asked for medium rare and they were cooked exactly so. Tender, juicy, and flavorful with a light char and a perfect medium rare. I had the gyro platter which had some of the most tender yet crispy meat I've had in a long time. The tzatziki was creamy, garlickey, and lightly cucumber flavored (I don't like cucumber so it had just the right amount) and the pita was buttery and tender. For sides we tried the green beans which I have never liked Greek style green beans and they have made me a believer! The tomato sauce has warming spices mixed in but not so hard that it tastes like Christmas. The lemon potatoes melt in your mouth and are perfectly balanced so they're not too sour. Service and atmosphere are excellent, attentive but not overbearing and clean, bright decor with comfy booths. I will be a regular here and I hope lots of people support them because we finally have another excellent, non-chain restaurant in south Deltona!

My husband and I enjoyed our anniversary lunch today and let me tell you, it was AMAZING! From the appetizer, to entree and then dessert. Yum! Portion size was great value for the money. Our waiter, Brad was attentive and friendly. The owner even stopped by our table to see how things were going and wished us a Happy Anniversary with a surprised amazing Baclava in the house. I would highly recommend this restaurant! We will be back!!

I decided on a sparkling rose flavored water for my drink (6 dollars since it was non alcoholic). It was floral and refreshing, with the bubbles as expected. For my entree, I did the chicken Aegean with rice and spinach (20 dollars + 3 upcharge for spinach). The dish reminded me of chicken Parmesan as it looked breaded and had a good amount of cheese. There was quite a bit of tomato sauce in the bottom as well. It was nicely portioned and quite enjoyable. The rice and spinach tasted Mediterranean with the herbs and spices used, which I really enjoyed. I saved some home to enjoy later. I skipped dessert as it was getting late. The service was quick and prompt. I decided to rush a bit since it was getting close to closing time and I didn't want to hold them up. The dining area looked charming, and I think there was outdoor seating with view of the park and fountain. Greek music was played in the background. Krazy Greek is a very nice restaurant near the 5th Street area. It's pretty affordable and their mocktail was good too. Parking was easy as I came a bit late, but it can get crowded if you go during busy hours. It is definitely worth a visit for great Greek food in the Lake Mary area. Overall: A-

So glad we did. The concept is very Chipotle-style, but for Greek food. You walk down the line and build your meal exactly how you want it: * Choose a base (pita, greens, fries, or rice) * Pick your protein (I went with the traditional gyro; my husband chose the honey balsamic chicken -- and WOW. It was so good I'm ordering that next time.) * Add toppings * Scoop on hummus and feta dips * Finish with sauces Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. My gyro had that classic savory richness you expect, but the honey balsamic chicken completely stole the show -- tender with a sweet-tangy depth that balanced beautifully with the toppings. The space is casual with simple metal seating inside and outside. No table service -- you order at the line and seat yourself -- which makes it easy for a relaxed, relaxed dinner. The staff was especially helpful when we mentioned it was our first time, patiently walking us through options without rushing us. Our total was $40.49 for two people, which felt very reasonable for the portion sizes and quality. We left full and genuinely impressed. They do offer dessert options, but we were too stuffed to try them this round. Fresh, flavorful, customizable, and officially added to our rotation. We'll definitely be back. We actually grabbed dinner here before heading to a wine bar in the same plaza -- perfect combo for a night out.

Confession time: I crave their homemade chicken-lemon rice soup bowl. (AVGOLEMONO) and strangely their potato salad knocks my socks off. I sometimes get an extra bowl of soup which comes in a tight freezer friendly container to freeze for a future comfort meal. They add the potato salad to meals and also the village salad (Horiatiki) which is the salad with NO lettuce - chunks of tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, olives, green peppers, pepperoncini peppers, potato salad and feta cheese. I get them to hold the pepperoncini. This time the salad I got had a huge ratio of green pepper. It was still ok but I would prefer more potato salad or cucumbers instead. With all the soup and salad I like to get a little protein so I order the kids gyro platter or chicken skewer meal. Sure I could order a side of protein but the kids meal includes rice, a little salad and a drink. This location is great because they had fruit juices besides the normal fountain drinks. Most of the meals and salad come with pita bread. I wish there was an option to add a small scoop of hummus instead of the whole appetizer. I ordered and got my food to go in about 5 minutes. My food was packed up so it did not spill in the way home.
