I had to go to O~Ville today and my friend took me to EVOO for a late lunch. It was so good,,healthy,,fresh and authentic! They barely spoke English and although not busy the other ppl that patronized seemed of the same or similar origin which is always a good sign. Restaurant was clean and a nice size. My friend and I had the same thing except with different sauces. The lamb platter with tabbouleh,,grape leaves and brown rice w/ lentils. Wow this place is soooooo amazing !!! Right from the door we were greeted and asked if we are here first time. The guys provided such an incredible service to us, were very patient, answered to all our questions and gave us the most delicious food. Place is cute and clean. Was driving by and saw this place. It was new for me anyway and decided to check it out. Walking in it was clean, not a ton of seating though. Walked up to counter and was greeted quickly. Was asked if I had been there before and he explained everything. Ended up getting the chicken shawarma sandwich, could have used a bit more chicken and more taziki sauce, but chicken was flavorful. With a side of potatoes, those could have had a bit more seasoning as well. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was for the price. For what I got as a combo was $20 just for one person. At first bite I can honestly say I wanted to get in line and order a second one. The beef was tender and flavorful and looks so nice being shaved off the vertical broiler Made to order battered fries , delicious ! They have baklava too but didn't get to try it along with fountain drinks and bottled drinks for purchase. Delicious first visit to EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil) for one of the better vegetarian platters available in Seminole County. Located on WP Ball Boulevard, this convenient restaurant is huge and offers a special Catering Menu. For lunch today, I thought it would be a toss up between the beef skewer or vegetarian platter. But, sadly, they were out of beef skewers and I wasn't interested in chicken. The service was quick and, I must admit, the falafel, grape leaves, rice, salad, and hummus were all excellent and very fresh. The fries are soggy and nasty frozen fries not worth $7. My shawarma was good however my husband ordered beef and got lamb... and the girl didn't even bother to take his order for at least 20 minutes.... Seemed like a really challenging task for her to drop a fry and make one wrap. Other coworker just sat on his phone. It was awkward and yes the negative reviews are true. They didn't have an extreme amount of toppings for the wrap, but the ones they provide are quality! 4 different sauces including, garlic, hummus, tzatziki and spicy, fresh onions, lettuce, pickles and something red.
