We went here for my birthday yesterday and we had a blast. The instructor was really patient with us and helped out a lot. I love all the different games you can play with axe throwing. The food was good for a gaming place. The queso was spot on. We will definitely go back. We wanna do the escape room too.

Came here with my oldest for a bit of competition. Axe throwing challenge and the old man had to show the young buck that although old I still have got it. I beat my sone all games we played. But honestly it really did not matter... we had a blast! It was so much fun!! Great big facilities with lots of lanes. They serve food and drink and they even had NA beer. My sine and i threw axes for a while and then went into their old stand up video games... I mean like classics, centipede, pac man, galaga, defender, and even space invaders! There were 100 games or more in here. You pay a flat fee and then play for a given time any game you want. What a great spot! From the axe throwing to the food (I just had the fries but they were really good), to the games... I mean what a way to spend a few hours... my son and I had a fantastic hours.

I came here for a company party. The games and drinks were fun. The food was mediocre. The staff was polite albeit understaffed.Overall I enjoyed it, but they need to have more people on hand, the bar line was too long.

The bar area to the left. Entry to the escape room in the middle. Ask throwing on the right.

We were pleasantly surprised to find that this gaming café has classic video games. They have a wall of pinball machines, along with some of my favorites, such as Frogger, Ms. Pac Man, Asteroids, Galaga, Defender, Pac-Man, Space Invaders. You can pay a flat rate for 30 minutes or 60 minutes. They also have escape rooms, darts, and ax throwing. They have a bar and food, but we didn't try anything this time. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely recommend this place family friendly. Gary was a huge help explaining about his organization and how it functions. The food was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend the nachos with the brisket there's adult beverages, and Coke cola beverages do not go with open toe shoes. They will give you a pair of shoes and a clean pair of socks, I learned the hard way....lol!!!! there's always somebody there close by to help you and instruct you how to properly throw an ax. It was a great experience!

Corky's is awesome. Found this place on google and booked and hour of axe throwing with my daughter. We walked in and were greeted right away by a friendly woman that was delivering food. We told her it was our first time so she took her time to explain how everything worked. Checked us in for our reservation and gave us a buzzer. We walked around and checked out all the games but didn't get the game card because it's by the hour and they were already getting our bag ready. I ordered a margarita and a sampler for food. Bartender was so nice and explained the ordering and number situation. Margarita was perfect! We got our bay and host Luis. Luis was the absolute best. He showed us how to throw and explained the fun games. He really made our experience phenomenal. Luis had such great energy working with everyone it was contagious and we ended up being friends and cheering on the people throwing on the bay next to us that he was also working with. It was just a great time. Food was fried bar food but tasty. We would definitely return to try the games and escape room. Corky's was 10/10

Arcade games are fun and vintage however the food isn't amazing. Similar to bar food so small portion and a little pricey.

Ask the Community - Corky's Gaming Bistro

Do you have old school Galaga games?

We do have Galaga! We have about 42 games, 13 of which are pinball machines, and the rest are retro arcade games.

Family friendly or more of a date night spot?

Depends on the age of the kids. 13 and up maybe. Ypunger id just park them in the arcade

Do we need reservations for a friday?

For the escape rooms or ax throwing you will probably want to go online and make sure to reserve your time prior to going, but otherwise, it's a walk-in establishment for the food, drinks, and video games.

However, we were unable to due to several circumstances. Both Samantha and Emily, two game masters working on this night at 8:40PM were confrontational, showed a lack of customer service, and the lowest form of professionalism, all while violating their own company policies. Due to traffic from the Sam Rayburn tollway, the group attending the escape room with me fell behind by 10 minutes. Upon entering we were told that the previous group had been waiting for nearly 15 minutes and had now entered the room. **Policy States** There is a 15 minute grace period before the game or booking is cancelled. However, from their explanations, the other patrons had already been allowed in the room for 10 minutes, verifying that no such grace period was given. It also meant that the group should have been informed of the 15 minute wait period and that at a minimum the game should have not started until 8:45. Our group also did not receive a courtesy call to check on our status. Instead we were told that we could only reschedule for a later date. The game masters were not only argumentative, but told us specifically "I have to go start a game," and left our group in the front in the least professional manner. I have attached a copy of the policy provided to us and will be escalating this incident to higher management for this location and any others associated with it. I am sorely disappointed in this particular room and I have completed several of these throughout the metroplex and outside of the state. I WILL NOT BE RECOMMENDING THIS LOCATION.

We interacted, laughed, and were even frightened together J  Ashley was our girl that day, and she gave us clues and helped us to win with 20 sec to spare.   Last week, when I was tasked with setting up a group/ Team building outing with my coworkers, Escape Rooms HQ came to mind.  I sent an email on a Monday (they are closed on Mondays) and I received an unexpected response within 15 minutes.  Albert was so kind and allowed me to ask all of my questions. He even informed me that they had an event room on site. My group decided to have lunch brought in and we just paid a small fee to have use of their event room.   Once we arrived the staff and owners of ERHQ were ready to go. We were instructed to sign our waivers.  T-shirts were handed out and then the instructions were given. We had two groups.. so half did the Code\ Back Slash room and the other half did the Nuclear Shuttle. Both groups had a great time. The facility is clean and nice.  We ate in the conference room... we forgot to bring in drinks, and the staff saved the day and took care of us (Thank You). We didn't even have to clean up.   The staff will go above and beyond, and we were thrilled with the experience. I will continue to use Escape Rooms HQ and I will recommend them to anyone who is looking to have a memorable bonding experience.   The folks here are still talking about what they could have done differently yesterday to have escaped ;)

I do want to say the initial check in was good. I had a bag I should have taken home and they held it safe up front for me. Very appreciated. The rough... The location boasts "42" mini escape rooms, most are 2-4 connected rooms with a task to get to the next room. With one task to get through and no real objective or clues, it can be frustrating figuring it out. The rooms are broken or worn out. 4 initial rooms could not be entered, holding back access to 2-3 more rooms each. Anything that required touching showed its age with wear. Some rooms required crawling with worn out floors that hurt to crawl on. The place is connected to a trampoline park, we had random young kids running around Labyrinth area unsupervised. The potential.... We were able to get through 2 areas completely! The obstacle course to get through a volcano was fun! The Asylum area was great as well. But so many rooms we were just clueless as to the clues. I am not the world's best escape room person, but I've completed dozens. Hard tasks are good, nearly impossible to figure out tasks are rough, racially with broken down interactions. When this place was new, I bet it was great. For $60 total we were entertained for two hours well enough, but I can't really recommend this place with all the broken and worn down interactions. The place needs a revamp and it could be unique and great!
