I found this place while looking for a restaurant near the hotel I was staying at, the 13 minute drive was easy as was the entrance into and out of the parking lot. Once I entered the restaurant I had a few minutes to review the menu board behind the counter while the customers in front of me placed their order. After exchanging greetings with the friendly girl behind the counter I decided to go with the spicy pork ramen minus the fish cake and one order of two steamed pork buns - I was given a number on a stanchion to place on the table as I grabbed a bottle of water out of the cooler then picked a table. There were a few customers eating in but lots of to go orders, the wait time was about 20 minutes but everything seemed fresh and hot when it arrived. I had never experienced a steamed pork bun before so I was really looking forward to trying this out as my ramen cooled a little. I admit I'm not a fan they were well constructed but dense just not my thing I guess, now the spicy ramen on the other hand was absolutely to die for the broth was a little creamy and so spicy, the ingredients were perfectly portioned, nice textures and the noodle were made for slurping, I worked those chop sticks and the elongated spoon like a pro and found the bottom of the paper bowl in recorded time. They have the best poke I have had in the area for a reasonable price. The employees are always friendly and helpful. One of them even remembers my order when I go there, which only took one visit. I like that when you order a larger bowl they allow you to choose as many toppings as you want and the meal also includes soup. My bowl I get is a large spicy tuna, half greens, half rice. I ordered pickup last night at the location on Royalton Road (82) near I-71. A small place but clean and good parking. Staff was friendly and had my order ready exactly on time. I've gotten their spicy tuna poke bowl before and it's wonderful but this was my first time getting the spicy ramen and it rocked. It was truly spicy too which took me by such pleasant surprise, that just sipping the broth was a flavor explosion (I really like spicy though so this may not pertain to everyone). Came here right from the Chalet and it was the perfect meal we were looking for. We ordered the make your own poke bowl (beef + squid salad), kid's shrimp tempura udon and tonkotsu ramen. Taste was great, portions were reasonable and presentation was nice. They had a lot of different sauces and they were all pretty good. I liked that there were so many toppings to choose from--seaweed salad, edamame, mango, pineapple, avocado scoop, even fish roe! We also ordered the coconut juice which took time to prepare because it had slices of real coconut inside. However, for a $4 drink, most of it was ice. The kid's meal was pricier because the portion was so small and they definitely need to place the shrimp tempura separate from the soup. It got all soggy... In all fairness, I ordered ramen delivery to our hotel via DoorDash. I ordered the spicy ramen bowl and the fried tofu. I usually love fried tofu because the outside is seasoned and crispy and flavorful. This order, not so much. On any account. But the sweet chili dipping sauce was great. The ramen bowl was so good. The pork was perfectly seasoned and cooked, the eggs were maybe a tad overdone, and the noodles definitely didn't taste like they were fresh or even remotely homemade but the broth more than made up for it. In fact, my 9 year old was sleeping, as soon as she realized I had ramen, she literally drank the broth and was a happy little human. I expected a little more spice but spice level is pretty relative. It would have given it the extra little bit of flavor it needed, but I'd definitely order again. read more

It was super yummy and the ingredients were fresh. I got a poke-inspired bowl with sushi rice, salmon, tuna, and veggies. Yes, this was more like deconstructed sushi rolls rather than more traditional poke, and I'm glad there were so many choices so I could customize to just what I wanted. Truly a hidden gem in a random Strongsville strip mall. We've been coming here for about a year whenever we are in the area - and the ramen keeps getting better! You also serve yourself water but I definitely recommend getting some bubble tea as it will be very refreshing after a bowl of ramen. Disclaimer: this place is good. Food was fine. Prices are a little high. I would eat here again. But the below represents a review on MY taste. First: I ordered on Uber eats. Was delivered within 30 minutes. All the food was fresh and hot. I ordered the squid skewers and spicy ramen. Very pleased with what I got. The reason I am giving only 3/5 stars: this ramen is just not as authentic as other places I've had. I absolutely love ramen and get it as much as possible. I requested no fish cake and to substitute bamboo shoot. No big deal, but it wasn't done. Presentation: the food was delivered and the broth was in a large bowl with a smaller bowl that fits perfectly on top with the noodles and fixings. The noodles are perfectly cooked. All toppers were great. Pork: the pork was dry for my taste, but otherwise fine. I'd recommend getting the chicken to anyone reading this. Squid: it was good. Seems like just regular calamari though and not the squid skewers I've had before. Egg: one of my favorite parts of ramen is the egg(ajitama) Unfortunately, the egg included with this ramen is just a regular hard boiled egg. Taste: the ramen I got was a shoyu and tonkotsu mix with miso paste. It was good but tasted mostly like raw garlic in my opinion! I usually get spicy miso broth but mixed it up so it may have been an oversite on my part. Spice: the spice would be about a 4/10, I'd put it below sriracha but above typical hot sauce. Not as spicy as I would want. Overall I'd give this place a 7.8/10. It's good, but not authentic like I was expecting. read more
